Battery Charge Notifier

This is exactly the battery charging alert app I was looking for. No annoying lack of ability to turn off repeat notifications, no ads, just simply does what's expected and allows you the flexibility to keep your notification one-time or on repeat. Kudos to the developer for this useful and user-friendly app. Keep up the good work!

Does an outstanding job of doing the task it was designed to do. The support of this app has been exceptional as well, including clear and informative help messages when an Android update necessitates a change or two in the settings. I do have one question. It appears that since the most recent update, there are not any of the longer, more musical sound files available to choose as a notification sound. Is that observation correct, or am I missing something?

Worked exactly as I hoped it would. Set up is relatively easy. Coupled with Fitnotifications app (& a Fitbit) this lets me know when to take the phone off charge, and reminds me when to charge it too. I also use Battery Screen Saver app so I can check the charge progress when passing by, but don't really need it with this reminder app. (This app doesn't show charge progress, and doesn't claim to do so, so the person who gave a low rating for that is being unfair. )

This app works as promised. I've been using it for three days and it has not failed me once. It's a keeper. Since the Android 9 update along with the Samsung One UI update, the program doesn't always inform me when the top charge level has been reached. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and so far, it's working as promised. There might be an occasional glitch that has nothing to do with this latest Android update, I don't know. At any rate, I like this app ... and if it acts up on a regular basis, I'll report back.

I really enjoyed this app when it worked, but it seems to be broken now. If I specifically open the app, it will suddenly pop up notifications (provided I've reached the set thresholds). From there it will work for a day, and then go silent again. I believe after some system updates, it's no longer compatible with my phone.

Love it!! Just what I am looking for.It has reminders that you can see and hear and you can set the amount of time the reminders go off and you can change the colors and sound of the reminders. No popup ads and the app runs automatically without you having to start it. Very easy to use

Just doesn't seem to work. I did everything I was supposed to do: I disabled battery optimization, I gave it permission to run in the background, I let it bypass do not disturb, double checked to make sure that the alerts have sounds and are shown, but it still almost always fails to notify.

I have repeat notifications setup when the battery discharges below a preset level (20% in my case) .Say, my phone's battery level is at 15% and I plug in the charger, but then I would expect the constant repeat notifications to turn off immediately. But the app keeps notifying me repeatedly until battery level reaches 20%. Is this really the expected behaviour?

In the "repeat notifications", in addition to repeat periods (minutes), there should be an option to repeat every time it drops a percentage point. So if you set your Low Battery Level at 25, it should notify at 25% and again at 24% and 23% etc. instead of at certain specified intervals.

Low battery alert stopped working despite no update to system or app. I tried uninstalling, clearing all data, didn't fix it. Disappointing after working well for 2 years. My phone is a Pocophone F1. EDIT: problem now fixed, not sure how or why. I made sure it's set to auto start and has no battery saver restrictions.

I'm downgrading this to 3 stars and going to look for a better app. The notifications set to play a tone when fully charged remains dumb and silent. The tone sounded for about half a dozen charge sessions then fell silent. Checked all settings were ON but nothing notifies other than red light changes to blue. Not impressed

No ads or "freemium" options, just free. Uses 1.09 MB of storage space V 2.2.2. One option that would be nice would be to base notifications on battery voltage rather than percentage charge. Also note that the voltage reported is different depending on whether it is plugged in at the time or not. I assume that this has nothing to do with the app, but that this is what the phone reports to it.

I'm using the app with my Samsung s21 ultra. I've tried other apps with lots of ads. But this one don't have pesky ads and It really works as described. It's easy to use and simple to configure. I can freely set the low batt. % charge alert and the high batt. % charging limit alert notifications. Highly recommended if you want to maximize your phone battery life.

Perfect. This is the most direct, unobtrusive, clean way to get battery-level-based notifications and alarms! It took me way too long to find it, the store it filled with horrible, ad-filled, ugly, and otherwise bloated or bad apps. This one is what I wanted all along.

1666 wake ups during 8 hours. This doesn't look like a properly programmed app. Please fix. Edit 1: I'd agree with you but those wake ups were measured while the phone was sleeping (i.e. not charging). Edit 2: I'm using Better Battery Stats 2.5-330 xda edition. The battery charge decreased by 2% during the measurement. I'm trying to reduce the rate of discharge even further that's why your app caught my attention.

An excellent app. Lightweight (14 MB RAM - I've tried several battery apps and this is, by far, the lowest) with all the basic needed features: max/min alarm and repeat-alarm control. A useful bonus is Charging/Unplugged time.Thank you. *** As the dev has mentioned: remember to disable battery-optimization for the app.

Amazing app but has a lot of bugs. For instance it doesn't works if you open the app after you plug in the charger. It doesn't have a stop alarm button for when user wants to drain or charge more than regularly. It itself takes a lot of usage my phone always warns me of high app usage for this. It really need fixes...

Not sure what it is about this app but it's completely hit or miss whether or not it'll notify you, more times than not it won't, perhaps its being put into a deep sleep that stops it notifying? Either way I wish it would just do its job 100% of the time and then it would be perfect.

I rely on this one all the time. Suggestion to the developer though: Turn on "too low" notifications while charging. On odd occasion, I find myself really, really low, and until the charge gets above the "low" threshold, the app buzzes and chimes wildly that my SOC is too low. Oops, yes, I meant turn *off* "too low" notifications when charging. My SOC is rarely lower than the app's Low Notification setting, but on occasion when it's way lower, when charging, and until it gets above the low...

I wish it would notify by a sound but no. It only vibrates and shows a notification. This is no good to me because I need to hear a sound. But it does work by notyfing you of your custom charge levels, like 40% low charge and 80% high charge so if you can live with having no sound for the notification then this is for you. If it had sounds I would give it 5 stars.

Forcing you to turn off "battery optimization" to run, this is an extraordinary battery DRAINER. Dropping 5% battery charge per 30 minutes (during NON-USE) is ridiculous. Tried on two different devices with same behavior. Shameful.

This app has helped me extend the lifetime of the battery on my phone beyond my expectations. However, since moving to a new Pixel 3A XL, the app no longer notifies me of anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled installed the app, checked all the settings... it never notifies me of the charge levels anymore.

Wonderful features : 1) Setting up one's own values + any ringtone or vibration (or both) for low% & high% battery level reminders. 2) "Down Time" hrs. setting for no untimely disturbance, e.g., sleeping hrs. Surprising !! How such a tiny app packed with so much of vital qualities & above all, its as free as air !!! No ad !! I confirm : No ad, I tell you. Myriad thanks and gratitude to the app developer team. IMPORTANT : "Sound Notifications" must be ON in the mobile.

Decided to give this app another shot! The first time it worked and then after that sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't. I had the Battery Optimization turned off for this app the first time and now for the second time. This time the alarm would sound when the battery was fully charged but when it was at 20% which is what I set it at, most of the time the alarm would sound at a percentage lower than that and sometimes the alarm wouldn't sound at all. So I will NOT be getting this app again.

I have been using the application for a long time and it works perfectly, but the sound alarm has stopped 2 months ago. I reinstalled it, removed the optimization restrictions and the result is the same. There is only toast notifications, but no sound.

I have used this app for a long time and love that it will notify me when the battery has reached 80% when charging. That is the main reason I downloaded it. However, I've dropped my rating to 4 stars because it no longer shows the battery percentage on the lock screen. It used to do that before a recent update. Very disappointing change.

Just to clarify , this app worked flawlessly for the year I used it. I'm certain it helped extend the phones battery life. I can't imagine the challenge developers face with the hundreds of thousands of engineers constantly changing and updating operating systems. what a nite mare! And remember , phone manufacturers DONT WANT THE BATTERIES TO LAST BEYOND THE FAILURE DESIGN.

This app has been my go-to battery notifier for quite some time now and I was pleasantly surprised when it got a new facelift update recently! It's a robust app with just the essentials for setting up a notifier on your defined battery levels and it's just been a great overall experience for me.
