I used to love this app. It worked great for years. Installed it on a Google Pixel 5 and it won't stay open. If you click on the app it opens for a moment and then closes. I can create a widget and place it on my home screen. It shows the percentage of charge left, if it's charging or not, and the estimated time left, but... if I click on it, it opens for a moment and then closes which makes it impossible to change the appearance of the widget and I can't get to any of the other functions of the app. I will change my review to 5 stars If you can make this work on the Google Pixel 5. Make it work great again!
It takes up space on the screen, so why can't it actually show the battery percentage? That would make the lose of space useful - not just a placeholder to take you to the percentage! Something onscreen that shows the current battery percentage that I don't need a magnifying glass to see - that's what I wanted!
The phone's battery indicator was TINY and I couldn't read it. This app is clear as a bell and the ability to use it by just swiping down makes it a favorite for me. I tried two other battery apps, but this one was the only winner!
This is a very good app. It gives the charged percentage continuously unlike other similar apps where it has to be updated by rechecking . There are also other features among others which enables one to determine the time factor in charging. This is a very scientific and useful app especially given the importance of the battery in the use of any device.
It is very important app to me. Easy to read it, you understand at a glance. The information is brief and accurate, what you want on the go. You find the icon effortless, its desing pop ups to your eyes among the bunch of others, I like that.
Update: After updating app to version 2.8 per developer's advice, the widget now loads at startup. Thanks and good work. Galaxy S10e: nice app, nice widget 1x1 on home screen is convenient. my only complaint is the widget doesn't load itself at startup unless I go to the app screen and load the app. only then the widget will work.
ive had this app since my phone upgraded and the percentage gage for my phone disappeared. about a month ago. so far its been pretty good but, im wo deri g of it is pulling more from my battery causing heating issues because I'm beginning to see whats happening with the function of my pbone, and lately its getting hotter when in warmer weather. its going to take more use before i know for sure.
Liking the visibilty of the battery indicator. Current phone has tiny indicator at top, my eyes struggle to see it properly, this sorts that problem perfectly. sits on notification pulldown bar. beautifully clear how battery is doing at any point.
Keep in mind that sometimes the bar is stuck because it must be clicked and choose something in the pop-up that waits for your input. Many times I thought I had 90% battery left when I was actually running low.
Was having issues with system battery percentage and icon not showing on OnePlus pie with substratum. Tried several battery widgets, this is the only one that persists after a reboot. Nicely customizable colors for status bar.
I realy dont rate apps even good ones because 9 times out of 10 we dont hear back from the developers due to so many comments. This apps is excelent thanks to the nice charts and a handy widget. It shows a good time table, how long to charge, how long till battery dies. It shows temp in F excelent in your notifacation bar. Yes well deserving 5 star.
Using widget. 4.7 stars. White font on yellow color not so good. Yellow is the sensible and logical color for discharge. Tried other color (pink) and it just feels odd. Font color choice would make it a full 5 stars. Bigger font will also be appreciated.
Best Indicator. I've tried a few and have to keep refreshing for accurate information. This app is great! Accurate and true battery reading .... Also a option for widget to be small or big.. Well done developer!
It's pretty good. My only gripe would be that sometimes it looks like my battery is at 100% when in fact it has less. The indicator widget doesn't seem to always keep up with what's actually happening. Other than that, I love this.
Works well, for an old guy like me who has a hard time seeing all the tiny little things on the screen It makes it nice and big and fat and obvious! Also helps you figure out if your various chargers are working or not.
I have a constant message on the shade from Android System that says Battery Indicator is using battery. Tap for details on battery and data usage. I tap and still cannot remove the notice.
Nice to have a very readable battery percentage available at all times. I also like the color change when charging as sometimes my cable gets disconnected when I expect the battery to be charging.
It works good. Many configurations, and show temperature. I can choose the colors. And is useful the differents sounds to alert about differents status.
Best 1 X 1 battery widget ever, takes one "place" on your home screen and is so easy to read at a glance compared to the status bar. I have tried many of these widgets and this is just brilliant!
Okay so it indicates how much power is left in the battery. But it doesn't in the truck is way, and I like that. Large, number percentage along with an approximation of time left on the battery.
Simple app. and good enough for a quick reference to state of battery and estimated time before a recharge is needed.
Talk about easy to see your levels! Also handy for showing what's using up battery. Another reviewer didn't like the screen icon, but who needs another battery-eating icon? You only need to pull down the top menu.
Very good, tried lots of others. Sometimes widget doesn't update percentage but that doesn't happen often. Ads aren't often visible day to day use.
The app shows battery percent if you click it, on home screen it fails to show correct amount. If it's 100, the app shows 30. Android 6.0 tablet.
Efficient & colorful - needed an indicator for my new Galaxy S6 tablet & I liked this one as it doesn't use a lot of the the memory. I liked it so much I decided to use it for my phone, a Galaxy S10e, works exactly the same on the phone as on the tablet 🙂
The only thing I need this app to do is make my battery indicator brighter. Then the disclaimer about how they use my social media use for their third parties. No thank you, delete, bye-bye.
Could have been a 5 star app, except the time remaining. On a 90% charged, it shows 0 minutes (!) or 5 hours, whereas similar apps and stock Android 9 (3400 mAh OnePlus 3T) show more than a day, which is normal. Fix the algorithm guys!
Love that it tells the battery percentage and how long the battery will last and it's very accurate and also love how it changes color when charging, not charging and when it gets low enough I love it thanks!!!!!
I like that it shows what percentage of battery charge my phone has. There is no indication though, if my battery is charging. Due to the fact that chargers go faulty I need to know this. I am out.
Worked really well for the first few weeks and then one day it stopped changing color, letting me know it was charging. I thought something was wrong with my charging cord until I saw the little icon on the top of my screen showing that it was indeed charging. Was a little frustrating. Good thing I was paying attention or else I'd keep seeing the app as 80 percen full.
