Battery Level Notifier
Lithium-ion based batteries age faster at charging levels below 20% and above 80%. Ideally, staying within these limits and avoiding complete charging/discharging cycles should be completely automatic (some electric car power systems do). Unfortunately, smartphones do not have (yet) the ability to stop charging without being unplugged.
This app gives you an audible and visible notification (including colored blinking LED when supported by device) when the battery reaches a user-defined LOW and/or HIGH level so that you can plug/unplug the device if convenient. The default settings are 25% and 85% respectively, which is a good compromise between battery care and usability in most cases. About once per month, you may let the battery fully charge and discharge so the internal power gauge can calibrate itself.
You may set a silent period (from-to times) in which the sound will be disabled. The notification symbol and LED will still be shown when a limit is reached.
Battery Monitor shortcut: At the top right corner, the app shows a battery symbol with the current level. Pressing it calls the system's own battery usage monitor.
This app uses very little resources. The high limit will be verified once every 5 minutes (when charging) and the low limit once every 15 minutes (when discharging).

Excellent app. I have used it successfully on several devices. The repeated warnings when limits are reached let you act if you were away during the initial warning. Selectable tones let you identify which device when several are charging. Battery life should be a lot longer with this app.
It was perfect until recently. It used to sound alarm every 5 minutes if left on charge after reaching pre set level. Now it keeps setting off the alarm every 5 seconds. Very annoying. Probably a bug? Please fix.
I gave it five stars because I totally agree with the science of keeping your battery within a certain threshold as to not stress the cells. This will undoubtedly prolong the number of charge and discharge cycles. Also it seems to be designed to run on minimal resources in the background. It's got a lot under the hood I can say that much. Great job guys. And now If only my e-bike would do this. I have to do it manually on that unfortunately.
The interface is pretty nice but there is one problem. Looks like this programme uses it's own percentage meter, different from phone's. Like this: 43% in this app ~= 45% on phone display. So the notification comes a little late. Or am I wrong? Galaxy A31.
Excellent app. I want an app to automatically cutting the charging power, but I know that this is effective only on root. So , I use this app which is sending a tone message in upper and lower battery levels. Note9
At top battery level the app just beeps once every 5 minutes , it is very easy to dismiss this beep, even at full volume !! Please make it beep continuosly at a real audible volume or let the user configure the app this way. Add a ringtone like an alarm.
Excellent job! High/low level notification is practically instantaneous. Only addition I'd request is high/low battery temperature settings. Two thumbs way up!👍👍
I installed it and it worked for a while, but then it stopped working. I played with the alarm settings but it never worked after that. Uninstalled it. 8/20 update: Thanks. Will do.
Works well, all of the notifiers are loud and short. I wojld like an infinite one but there was a glitch where the infinite one kept going on and on and I had to re install the app.
I've been using this app for 2 years What I like is its simple to use design which gives me just what I need: to set a max min charge level [20%-80%] and to be notified when this level has been reached.
How do I make the notification icon go away?? Ok, battery is low, thanks. I'm charging it. I'm clicking the notification. It will not go away. It says press to dismiss. I'm pressing. It will not go away. I'm opening the app. It will not go away. I will get rid of the icon if I have to uninstall. But I would prefer if the icon went away and I could use the app. It's cool, uninstalled. Found another to try.
I like it very much. I had wondered if something as good as this really existed, but I found it on my first try when I searched the apps in my playstore. It does exactly what I want and I can vary my preferences.

I like the app but new features not accessible or present. Eg, no pro version available. The log is not functioning. Please audit the app and rectify. The version is 3.4.0. Thanks.
I prefer to give more stars if the app can remove notification out of the notification bar once I have acknowledged or dismissed.
I set it to alarm at 20% 80%. I love that it works and I installed it in all my devices.
It's a good app normally it takes a few hours for my phone just to get to 70% this only took 5 minutes
Sounds stopped working. Reinstalled and still does not work.

Excellent app! Update, I revoke the critique below. Salutation still applicable: Though the percentage figure on top left corner of screen is NOT necessary, but unable to be closed either by user. Unnecessary because Smartphones already provide that either by default or modification in the setting. At least, please provide function to turn that figure off. Thanks and keep up the great work! 👍
