Battery Saver for Pokémon™GO
When it detects Pokémon™GO in the foreground it does some of the following (but not all) automatic changes:1
- For Android™ Lollipop or newer devices it turns on the system Battery Saver2
- Lowers CPU frequencies based on which battery saving option you've chosen3
- Lowers the GPU frequencies on Qualcomm devices based on the same rules as (1)4
- Lowers display brightness also according to the same rules as (1)5
- Sets Location Mode to "Device only" if you use the Super battery saver6
- Lowers display resolution on the go making the GPU work less, saving tons of precious power7
- Bonus: this'll also work with Ingress since it's also make by Niantic.
When the game returns to the background all the settings go back to the device's values before the changes were applied.You also have the option to "keep the display on" while playing Pokémon™GO, which overrides the system timeout setting.

The toast notification only shows when I go into this app. In pokemon go the screen does not stay on and I see no difference. Using LG G3 with stock lollipop and rooted
So far, so good. How about a screen turn off feature? Also I have been using the "Per-App" feature inside FK updater to set "Power Saving" preset to Pokémon Go, does it makes any difference or by just using this app I could leave that FK updater setting alone?
I was a bit skeptical at first, but it actually works! As a bonus, phone doesn't overheat anymore while playing the game, which actually makes it less laggy! **Edit: Would be nice if there was an option to dim the screen even further. (Nextbit Robin running Android 6.0.1)
Really handy app! I've been struggling with having good battery life while playing Pokemon GO, but this app helps a lot to keep the battery going!

The app works as expected, but the pricetag is a bit high. I believe if this app were to be more fairly priced to the average consumer then it will sell like hot cakes.
More time between fill-up's can only be a good thing? Help support this developer and spend what is less than 2 coffee's... GO on!
Be careful.. the reduced resolution option destroyed my phone and had me forced to install a new ROM, be warned!

This is a great app, with any rooted phone I have always liked to install this and set my settings and go catch them all. Great work! Does the developer have any plans to make this app work on non rooted devices?
