Been solid for years! It's best feature is it's simplicity, it's just a battery temperature with persistent notification and a warning if it goes over the set temp. If your having problems with it closing on newer phones, make sure you go into your phones settings and disable "Deep Sleep" or "Battery Optimization" for this app. Then it won't randomly close.

Works like a charm! The only improvement I'd make, not sure if it's possible, would be the special notifications for over set threshold going away on it's own after temps going back below your threshold. Edit: I can see the point in warning you. I just look down and see he notification and think it's still happening when it's not. i honestly don't know which I'd prefer. I see the merits of both!

Well, all I can tell you is that it seems to be working. I was editing some photos and my S9 got hot, so I installed this to see how hot it was. (109°F), then to test for changes, I've removed the case and placed it on a cool surface. Surely enough, it slowly went to 96°. Thank you for not filling the app with useless features we did not ask for.

This app is great! The developer is very supportive and attentive which shows character. This app does exactly what it says it does, It reads your battery tempreature accurately. It sometimes needs a minute or two to catch up on your battery temp in real time, but rest assured that the reading is accurate. This is a very minimalist app, yet it has one of the best features available that most

A must have for MOTO Z phones, as they run VERY hot. Useful on other phones, but notifications can start to bug you during other apps (even when the phone is not at risk. Yes, I want to hear that my Z3 is hitting 116 degrees while watching YouTube. No, I don't need to know my Moto E (which replaced 2 consecutive Z3s after each fried itself) is running at 76 degrees while playing my games. Update: Found the temp settings for the app. Found them set super low and fixed them. Should run fine now

this app gives you the temperature in the status bar if you want it, end does exactly what it supposed to do give you the battery temperature. that helps me be a little more careful in not feeding power continuously while I'm charging. I use a timer to just charge the battery about a half hour out a time to keep the temperature from going real high. of course when I have to charge it fast I just let it rip

Almost perfect app. It disappears from the notification area when there are playstore updates of any other apps, but that is the only thing I've found wrong. I like it in my notifications at all times, and it has alerted me when charging or too much sunshine made it start warming up too much.

Wayyyyyyyyyy more accurate temp than my highly rated cleaner app so no more annoying false alarms. Besides, if I'm using the phone (and present for nagging) I'm probably holding it my hand and can sense it getting warm. Just a glance at the upper left and I know the actual temperature. Simple need, elegantly fulfilled.

Simple easy and helps you stay on top of the temp. Especially with low quality cases the temp can skyrocket quickly with certain apps. This help me adjust to save my phone.

Okay. Here the fix you can work over. Whenever my phones tem. Gone up it's still showing same damn tem. Like 38°© or 40°© on notification bar. But when I open the app itself it's get updated straight way (showing correct current temp) previously before updating the app it was working normally getting updated automatically ac to battery tem but now I don't know it's simply not working. I can share screenshots for reference

A simple and nice app, does what it says. Just one suggestion, when the temperature reaches the max limit I have set and a warning notification is generated, this notification should go as soon as temperature drops and is within the set limit. Also it would be nice to see a temperature graph for last 24 hours or so.

Battery temp app that can't ascertain temp. Set it to 35, but it waits until my phone is nearly frying then reminds me. Edit: Read in another review that it reminds you when your device goes 1° over. Developers, if I set my warning at a certain temp, I want to be reminded AT THAT TEMP. That's logic. Please fix. Otherwise, a clean, worthwhile app.

surprisingly it seems to work. when my phone feels very hot it showed 34C. when I was outside in cold winter weather for a while it showed 12C. at room temperature after not using it for a while it shows 21C. so it seems accurate. Samsung a52

Been using the app several days. Simple, is easy to use, temperature seems to correlate with how the phone feels in the hand. I find it useful and like the app.

It works very well on my S9. I have 1 observation which is that the figures in the task bar are a bit hard to see for me. Other than the above I like this type of small app very much and therefore the 5 star rating is well deserved.

Has sent me to a full page advertisement, back didn't work in it. There is nothing wrong with showing ads, but here, a link to additional information goes to something else, and there is no undo or back for that action. The problem is not this ads are shown, the the user interface is broken. Editing to give one additional star for answering the reviews.

Honestly my phone almost never overheats but sometimes I get a scare when phone has a message saying "Phones' temperture is too high, apps will close in 20 secs". I was like damn so clicked on the app store and found this, just installed it and already knew it was a extremely simple yet effective app. Bought the paid version like 10 secs later XD.

It would be perfect if temp history existed also. I totally understand the simplicity you want to achive. But it would be nice somehow to have a chart, of lets say 1 day of max and min temps in order to know what affects battery temp. For example yes i get a notification but there is no way to remember during day temp flactuations.

Does exactly what it says it does... and it's perfect for me! I have a 4yo phone that likes to get hot sometimes, so it is very nice that I have a little reminder on my notifications bar to let me know how it's doing. Hoping to get some more time squeezed out of this phone before I have to replace it, and I think this tool will help me do just that.

This is very good. However more features will be recommended •Add a second notification when the battery exceeds ur last set temperature for example first notification at 35°C and next one at 40°C 2.Add text where it tells u ur temperature status. So maybe at 25°C is a bit low under 20°C is low and under 10°C is very low. Also do the same thing for high temperature which does a little high, high and very high
