It’s easy to get started. Launch BATTLESHIP on Nintendo Switch™. Select Play with Friends from the main menu and choose Local. Open the official companion app and enter the lobby code shown on the Nintendo Switch™ screen to connect the app to your Nintendo Switch™.

Worked just great up until recently, now every time we try playing multiplayer we get the "Invalid Code" message and the dev's webpage provides NO working solution...PLEASE update this app so that it'll actually work again as intended! This is when pmaying on Nintendo Switch, we've tried with 3 different brand phones, even tried re-installing the app...same thing EVERY TIME!
Not happy. The game on the phone keeps crashing in multiplayer mode on the switch. On the switch itself the games go fine but cannot finish a single game with the app on the phone.. Super unsatisfied..
The app does not work with the switch game. The console keeps up with the game but the app on our phones crashes during every game. Cannot contact Ninetendo due to chat and text disabled and long call wait times. Terrible app design. Needs lots of work. Would like a refund from Ninetendo online.
Disconnecting constantly. If you want this for local multiplayer on Switch then avoid. Will disconnect out of the games due to connection issues all the time and you lose progress without either person winning. Waste of money.
I wanted to love this, but all of the reviews are accurate... out of 15 or so tries, we actually competed 1 game. All others either freeze up or error out with a connection issue. Love the concept, and the 1 game was awesome...but this app is worthless
Can't make it through an entire game without getting disconnected. Doesn't reconnect either. Just have to cancel game. Developers should fix this. Don't buy the game as you won't be able to play local.
You can't use the game locally with friends, and the developers have no plan on ever fixing it. Not worth the money. Who plays battleship by themselves. It's like spending top dollar for an online chess board.
Cannot play local. Downloaded game through Switch and now I'm out $$$. Was able to play once with some issues. Since then it's been horrible. Keeps saying invalid code. Please fix.

I'm having issues with synchronization between Switch and my Android. TCL. It times out constantly and consistently.
Literally broken. Attempted to play 3 matches in a row, 100% had a disconnect error. This is unplayable garbage.
I payed for a Switch game that I can't play because the app is not functional. I have never made it through a single game. My money should be refunded.
Just like everyone else is saying... it disconnects from the game and I can't even finish one game! This would be a really fun game, but this is frustrating and disappointing!!!
We've been able to finish 2/10 games. Everything randomly desyncs in the middle of playing.
When the app works, it is fine. However, I can usually only get 1 game in before it drops the connection... then there is no way to resume the game.

Got this on the Switch. For local play, it only tells you "invalid code" no matter what you put in it.
Works fine. If you want to play battleship on switch this is a way to do it.

I was really excited to play this game, but the app is terrible! It doesn't ever load, and it refuses to allow me and my friends to play the game.

Disconnects after the first turn every single game. This app is garbage.
The update has broken the game. Just says invalid code now. Developers are aware but c!early not bothered. Sad thing is my little boy used his birthday money to buy it. Think Nintendo should refund
Got the game for local multiplayer experience, unfortunately on switch which does not do refunds. The app itself disconnects every time from the game server, and there is no way to rejoin an ongoing match. So, after 10 attempts to play a game, and not being able to finish a single one, I wish I could leave a no star review, but have to settle for a 1 star.
