Great game and controls. It is unforgiving in gameplay difficulty. Loses a star though as your progress is not saved if you uninstall.

Since Games Workshop stopped production on BFG, this has been a good substitute.

The tabletop game was great, this version is very faithful which is just what I was looking for. Overall I'd like to give this game 5 stars but can't because it crashes so often and when in a normal campaign battle that's a real pain because it gives the tyranids free reign. I sent the devs a call for help via their website and have had no reply.

The latest chaos update while welcome feels sloppy. Poor graphical ship models compared to established forces. Lazy voice copied over from marines. Still love the game and hopeful for Tau, Eldar and Orks. But more effort is needed

Sadly had to revisit this review and lower the rating, yes the bugs have finally mostly gone but the add-ons are just getting worse and worse. The Chaos fleet is ludicrously overpowered, has no campaign and doesn't even have its own sounds. Dont get complacent devs...

I love the game! HOWEVER the ai freeze bug still happens enough that it ruins the campaign. As when the game is reloaded the combats are auto completed and too many fleets are lost. At this point allowing a player to refight the battle seems the only solution. Would be 5 stars if this issue didn't happen.

I believe the game was abandoned by the devs, still a great game and fun to play, wish i gotten the last dlc of chaos fleets before they shutdown. Now you cannot even purchase dlcs. Was fortunate enough to buy the necorn and leviathan dlcs.

As a longtime fan of BFG I was pleased to see this franchise be accessable again. Sadly the game has a few issues that while small, do make the experience poor. The user interface is quite tricky and not one that comes easy to get to grips with. However the biggest issue the game has, are the dice rolls in the campaign. Good luck trying to hit anything! Your ships will pass their leadership tests roughly 70% of the time. While hitting with 5 dice 33% and 4 dice 47%, this was with a lot of re-rolls. It makes for a frustrating game, which sadly tarnishes the overall game. Note I haven't played the game in other modes, so I don't know if the same dice issue occurs outside of the campaign mode. Aside from these points it is a true reflection of the sadly long out of production game. It is also worth mentioning, that like all games with a lot of graphics, they will drain your battery fast!

Waiting on expansions. And brought. Will buy and eagerly tackle. Would love to see Khorne Chaos fleet with demon faces on battle cruisers and the orks. The Chaos fleet present is Chaos Space Marines but worth a play.

Good game, but I've had difficulty purchasing Chaos fleet and support e mail doesn't seem to work. But overall a very nice looking game.

Freezes consistently. If I could complete more than half a mission I would rate it higher. After many updates the game runs much better.

[edit] Current version doesn't even launch anymore! (HUDL2) Just stalls on the Grand Cauldron/Games Workshop logo loading screen. Play store needs to offer version rollback, or a refund. This is bait & switch, I no-longer have the product I paid for. [edit] Lowered score; the current version of the game is broken. AI processing stalls in their Shooting phase in the mission "Arenos Karlaen". Yet to have a response from Grand Cauldron support email. The devs have also removed the 'continue play' feature which was vital for bypassing similar stalled AI bugs. [original review] A few bugs aside, it's a faithful interpretation of the tabletop game. Campaign is OK, though the unscripted battles are repetitive & the campaign map mechanics rather bland and simplistic. If it were fleshed out such that fleets & ship condition were persistent, it'd be far more compelling (Total War but more restricted movement). Tyranids are an odd choice for the antagonists; they're completely lacking personality and their fleets are characterless too. I look forward to more interesting race DLCs.

Awesome game. Brutal unless you learn fast but very good version of the tabletop game.

I love this, but when I try to but either of the extra content, it tells me that they are unavailable for purchase.

Now i can play BFG again. Would love to see Eldar. Then it would be perfect. A rilly enjoyable game. Thanks

Great game although a few minor issues, like the AI shooting torpedos at its own ships and not being able to play the challenge missions as the nids but otherwise the best GW mobile game! Great work peeps!!

Fantastic adaptation of the TTG. Highly recommended for fans of the 40K universe.

Great game apart from the fact i cannot download the dlc as it keeps giving me a server error how do i get the dlc wpuld be 5 stars if i could get everything
