Battleship & Puzzles: Warship Empire

Looks like it could be fun but, only took me 20 minutes to uninstall. Whether it was the tutorial or game mechanics, I had no control over getting out of tutorials. I couldn't go to options, check out mission rewards etc...ALL because it just wanted me to go forward and fight. What good is winning and gaining rewards if you can't break free enough to use em.? I doubt that much tutorial is needed. Pretty sure the game is pretty obvious, to figure out. These aren't new ideas.

I love the idea and in - game graphics are great! However, I'm having a few issues. Chat is incompatible with my keyboard. 1) I can't add spaces or punctuation, so typing a single sentence is painstakingly slow. I use a Swype keyboard. 2) The military ranks are not reflective of the Navy (ie there are no Generals in the Navy. No Corporals, either.) I hope they fix that as it's really distracting and shows a lack of attention to detail. 3) I don't have enough room to finish... 😂

Dropping to a two star rating. This game has took a turn for the worse. Im finding it harder to make myself play everyday. Ridiculous cost on items (real and in game denominations), enemies with god like power, etc ruin the game for free players. The ships should physicsaly change appearance when leveling up or upgrading. Very repetitive gameplay. Not much to say on the good parts of it. Good game for killing time but not for the long haul

Good graphics. Nice upgrade screens. Game play has deteriorated. Have to tap screen multiple times to get response. Unable at times to edit teams, and have to close and relaunch game multiple times to complete actions. If you get by those frustrations, ascension material for advanced ships has been nill. Good start but rapidly stalling and becoming a grind for free play.

Thus far, the best match 3 game I have played. Sure, it still has the usual offers to buy, some ads pop-up when the game loads, & oncevin a while in-game, & the game does seem to get a bit tougher fairly soon after reaching a cettain level, but it's a very well designed game. My ONLY gripe, is the poor odds of getting a legendary ship w/ the epic draws. Out some 25 o 30+ draws thus far, I've gotten several epic ships, but I've gotten more rare (3 star) than anything, 75% at least. Poor odds.

Same as all the other puzzle games...but this one the interface is clunky and slow I pushed one of the first buttons out of curiosity and the screen darkned and no back button. the animations are dull and feel dated. I'd recommend "Zombies and puzzles" which is quite generous and doesnt bombard you with ads and buy offers. Goodbye battleships.

First off, love the game entirely. No ads and great gameplay all the way around. I play a lot of games online and don't always have a high speed connection. For those of you with the same issues i double my 5 star review. You can still have a great experience without spending $. 1 improvement i have read in other reviews would be the option to trade ships among legion members.

Just updated the game. Now it won't connect. Oh well, was going to uninstall anyway. Game got hard fast, making it essential to spend money to advance without waiting too long. I'm only level 6 and based on my unwavering math skills it would take me 2 weeks to collect enough money and ships to level up the current ships I have to beat one level. Then after that obviously I would not be strong enough to beat the next level and cycle repeats itself. Not a game you can play for free and succeed

By far the Best puzzles games in this style...Lots of ways to get tons of free tokens and stuffs.You must give newbies a chance to get 1 5***** ship maybe as a reward for reaching level 20 ... Also too many stuffs we accumulate without use ..should be able to trade for tokens or gold coins ...your pricing is one of the best but would be helpful to get more lower levels power ups . Im at level 16 now with 5 ...4**** ships but upgrading them is very slow ... The Adventures games are useless .

UPDATE: Still have a lot of glitches to fix, the main one being connectivity. It's very frustrating to be in the midst of a battle only to have the game freeze up. Also, the higher level stages need to be toned down. I have one of the best fleets in the game but can't even finish the 2nd wave of stage 20-7. They fix these glitches and ship leveling and general leveling and I'll give this 4 stars.

Game seems fun. But the tutorial is beyond stupidly long. Shorten it. Short and sweet. Get the basics understood without taking forever. It's a turn off to so many games. Its unneeded to be so long. Upgrade and ascend a ship together, draw both ships together, etc. Not one at a time with a battle in between.

It's pretty much a clone of Empires & Puzzles, with the whole game having a reskin to fit a naval theme. However they've added a few things to make it stand out from E&P and work to continually update the game. And the various ship designs are all very cool and distinct. Definitely worth trying at least.

I have had to change my previous 5 star rating of this game down to 1 star after recent updates destroyed the levelling of the ships. It is already a painful grind to try and get the acession items to level ships, even pay to win purchase packs do not even guarantee you will get the items you need, but to stop being able to level a skill after reaching max level and reducing the bonus chance from using the same colour ships is just ridiculous. Would not currently recommend the game as it it is.

Good game. Could give you a bit more of a tutorial about how to use the battle items, but otherwise pretty good. Because of the puzzle aspect during battle sequences, it give players with a lower overall power rating a fighting chance to succeed against more powerful opponents.

Great little gem, great graphics and gameplay, not bad quite great, lol reminds me of tetris in a good way, instead of trying to get rid blocks, u trying to get rid of destroyers, subs, carriers and other assorted vessels, the bosses are at first a handfull but with enough grinding and leveling u can beat it eventually, my only gripe is that they have too few leveling events, 1 or 2 more it would be perfect, but for now pretty good as it stands out

Its exactly 1:1 to Empire & Puzzle. So if u like match 3 game types, u'll like this game. However, I feel that the battles are slow. The matching of gems to fight ure opponents are going at a slower pace than average. And the rewards are a bit lackluster. But, it's still a fun game. Just needs to be speed up a bit more to match other match 3 types.

played empires and puzzles for over a year. decided to give this game a try. so far it isn't too bad. could use a few improvements like the opportunity to have 2 builder's. I hear war is coming so can't wait for that. another improvement would be when you log in, chat goes straight to your legion and not global chat. yes, it is a pay to play game but you can play for free, just slower to progress

Fun game but still fairly buggy. Basically a clone of empires and puzzles. Bugs: had chat feature work weird. Delete a character and type again that deleted character comes back. Ex "ops" delete the s then type p and get "opsp". That seems to be fixed as of last week. Another one: moving resources from one building to another and nothing happens. I'm sure they'll fix them just kind of odd they are there in the first place. I'd have thought the underlying code would be shared between the 3 games they have that are effectively copies of each other with different boards and artwork. Anyways still very fun and I'm sure in a month or so the little glitches will get ironed out.

Returned to the game after Devs said glitches and clumsy buttons were fixed. 1 month later and no resolve. Game crashes constantly. Too many packs for sale on home screen makes it difficult to collect resources or upgrade. Buttons. OMG the buttons are miniscule and extremely difficult to use. If you open Airdrop n watch an ad the game crashes every time afterwards. Good luck with this game...

It's not a bad match 3 time waster, but I wish there was an option for color blind folk like myself. I find it very difficult to distinguish the yellow/green & blue/purple rings around the ships. Hopefully this can be fixed in future updates.

So far its been a pretty decent game by far my biggest complaint is when you spend real world cash to purchase better ships and subs only to get shorthanded by whatever random dispensing algorithim is at play. But also when youre in the middle of a war battle as i was shortly before searching to address my issue, its very unfair to the player when the game boots you off the app resulting in an automatic loss of medals, battle energy, and the like. Im not tryna spend real cash and lose out twice.

Been having severe problems of staying connected most of during the battle game parts, I've told these people about it and nothing happens even after all the past upgrade/updates and still have the sever connection problem, I'm about ready to uninstall this app/game,. I keep sending screenshots showing the connection problem and all they want to say is go to a different sever, do that and I would have to start all over again,

The game had gotten so bad that it's very hard to want to keep it installed. I'm canceling my subscription and a lot of my legion aren't happy with the playability of the game and lack of caring about it from the developers. We are a top 5 legion and everyone is about to quit playing. It's sad how amazing this game COULD be but all they want to do is keep it a cash grab game.
