This app makes running encounters so much easier. Adding monsters on the fly, creating custom monsters, and player groups all work incredibly well. I can see myself using this for all my games, even one shots, in the future. A truly excellent experience for a free app.
It is really handy. I love that it can roll initiative or have it be put in. It was alittle difficult to figure out how to split the initiative for multiple monsters but once I figured that out I paid for it there and then. It is so useful!
Excellent, even when you don't pay at all. Protip: create multiples of some enemies, as same name enemies in an encounter all roll the same initiative, which you can get around by making a "Zombie A" and "Zombie B" so to speak. Otherwise the app is AWESOME!
Used this for a few years now. The only reliable and sturdy one that never looses my encounter even if I close the app. Has all the features I need and super easy to use.
It's an awesome tool for keeping the order of who goes next, and I enjoy the fact that it doesn't use a ton of complex things to set it up. Good for getting the campaign encounters rolling. 👌
Absolutely great for what it is, my only suggestion would be adding a way to grant someone advantage on initiative. I work around by adding 2 and removing, but would prefer it be integrated.
I have tested this with my party for both character tests and for the actual campaign. This program runs exceptionally well, and I only have a few nitpicks about things that I would love in the program, but are not really required
Almost 5 stars. Please just allow the players to manually drag the individual participants (such as when you have to change the Initiative Order when someone waits its turn out or gets unconscious), and everyone will surely give you the 5-Stars review your app deserves. (For the reviewers that say that all the monsters roll Initiative in bulk: there's an option to deactivate this.) Hope you update your app soon by allowing manual dragging.
This is exactly what I needed in a D&D combat tracker. Quick and easy to use, and not overly burdened with complex intrusive features that I'll never need.
Awesome, the free version is perfect and the fact that you can add your own monsters means that the options are not limited at all.
So close to being perfect but it rolls the same initiative for enemies and there doesn't appear to be a way to input enemy initiative manually.
Meh. Let me just save the character's names without necessarily entering every field right away. Also, let us just drag characters to a new position in the order for when they delay.
As a 5e DM, this is the simplest, most intuitive initiative tracker I've found. I use it for every combat!
Pretty good but if you're not a 5e user deleting all of the 5e monster stat blocks is a MAJOR pain. Also doesn't let you manually enter monster initiative rolls. My table doesn't trust dice rollers, we prefer manual.
This is the best initiative tracker I have found so far. It is not perfect, but it far outstrips any of the other free ones.
Its a great app, only problem I have is lack of temporary hit points. My party has learned how great they are and over use them, cant put in app though.
a very useful app missing a few monsters but i can create stats for them and even make my own very easily would recommend for any DM new or veteran
Fairly easy to use will be DMing my first game in 2 weeks and this has been a great help setting up my encounters. That I want to plan
Very good app. Looked for a while for one that was simple and easy to use. I would recommend this 10 times over.
Edit: It's sooo close to being good, but it rolls the same initiative for every monster which makes it less useful. If the you had the option to automatically roll different initiatives for every monster it would be perfect... I have been looking for an app like this for soooo long! It's just as simple as it needs to be, with no fluff! It's easy to create parties and reuse them for different encounters and it's easy to type in monster stats on the fly.
