I was looking for a game that was light on storage and to fill up some time when not playing SimpleMMO. The game was really short since I only played free set. But I enjoyed my short time. I played once as normal then I played a different style for fun (selling shield and repair in the beginning then buying another hangar: eventually flooding the space with ships.) I won both styles. 35 waves total. Uninstalled now, but it was fun even if it was short lived :)

An interesting take on the tower defence genre. My only criticism is that the early waves feel a bit too inflexible in the sense that the only way to efficiently beat them is to upgrade the shield. This really limits tactical options early on since doing anything else will lead to the station being destroyed before the game even properly develops.

Brilliant if short. Not sure why some say it is hard, it's not any harder than games of a similar ilk. You want hard play Homeworld 1 or 2. It's a good game and it works well at what it wants to achieve. My first go got to wave 15 then maxed it out, the key is to not leave fighters on auto launch and target turrets. Works flawlessly for me every time. 👍

I like the game. It took a few tries but I beat level 1. My biggest issue (and really only issue) is that you have to pay for the rest of the levels. Like, if I beat level 1, I should get level 1 endless and level 2. At the least, level 1 endless. Just kind of disappointing, really.

A beautiful game concept so simple that it satisfies my search for a specific playstyle, but its variety in leveling, staging, saves, and overall inbalance with its starting enemies, resources, and currency for upgrades makes it fall flat, overall it WILL drive out new players, they will turn a blind eye to its potential, uninstalling it with a short bad review. This game flourishes in its simplicity, and many things can be added to be better, but complexity is never better.

Personally I had a great time with this game, it's set up in a way where you get the same level system as Galaga, eventually getting to the boss on stage 35, except its been made into a rts in a way, the levels are set up in a way so it's repetitive for future preparation by the player, yet also leaves bits of levels open to random enemy's, the only thing I qm upset is that beating the base game without purchasing the rest of the levels does nothing, not even unlocking endless mode.

Cant advance. Wants me to upgrade station but cheapest thing costs 100 but after only 1 enemy, I have 75. I have to leave a star rating so Im going with a one but I'll raise it once I can actually play. It will not advance past the point of wanting me to upgrade. Its paused so the waves dont continue to come so I cant get past that part

A simpler, more accessable version of First Contact, this plays differently enough to not be rendered obsolete by its' larger cousin. More direct arcade defense action without all the knobs and levers to worry about, but only one enemy race compared to First Contact's 5(!) distinct enemy races. An extremely fun game worth having along side First Contact.

Great game trully interesting as your choices in early game will affect your mid-end game a lot, good choice of upgrades but would be nice to be able to evolve the turrets/bays after they reach max level also a save would be nice every 10 lvl from where u can continue. Also i beat first play mode at lvl 35... And then i was reseted to lvl q again forcing you to pay to unlock other game modes, shame this game has a lot of potebtial but this mindset will kill it.

+ simple, good game mechanics + no cluttered user interface, nuisances of energy systems or pay-to-win offers + offline playable game that challenges you ~ just too bad that there are no updates or payable addons. i say this cause it would keep players & developers invested ~lack of detailed upgrade description, but this is usually intentional to avoid overloading players with info. i keep coming back to play it. its worth the small investment to unlock the endless playmodes. enjoy!

Simple yet challenging with the point on TACTICAL. Graphics a fine. I find it addicting. I only wish the screen/ graphic characters were a bit larger...even for a phone screen. Would look better on a 10' tablet.

Simple on the mind and easy to understand . Turrets early on the game can be destroyed so lasers are good if in maximum .Shield is very important so are the blaster/s .Needs improvement and maybe a free upgrade on certain levels would be better.

very much a sit back and watch the action while you add and tweak with upgrades and whatnot. very fun, well made, easy to play and I like how its NOT aggressive in the way it trys to get you to buy microtransactions too. Definitely give it a try!

im a huge fan of bug byte`s games however it would kill them to give the games alittle more money or resources to upgrade. I understand they want the game to be a challenge but the lack of resourses are to the point where it makes the game less playable.

Simple concept, fantastic game. Would love to see some more development, levels (environmental conditions, victory conditions etc), facilities, enemies, campaign with research and upgrade development?

Tun. R. Jun 26, 2021

Yah good, but same criticism: Beating level 1 does not unlock level 1 endless, or level 2 at all. Certainly finishable, but afterwards comes nothing. You have to pay to unlock level 1 endless, level 2, and level 2 endless, so beating level 1 does not feel motivating, as it is not rewarding.

Great little game. I was hoping for some kind of ascension mechanic, otherwise replay is a little grinding. I plan on purchasing the full version in the future.

Cor. T. Nov 19, 2020

No clue what I am doing. Things are lucked no hint how to unlock. Upgrade but no details on how the upgrade improves to decide should I build or upgrade. Overall just zero info on how the game works for the player.

It is a good game, i love it, i really do, but i wish it was endless. Like if you die you can start at the same wave and keep trying. The fact that you restart is really off putting.

Even the demo is super fun! This is my type of game. Simple controls and tactical, sit back and watch the destruction, excitement.

I like this one a bunch, it's like a TD, but it's not entirely a TD, it has some strategy envolve and some rng (I believe) in the mix to, anyway the free portion is small but good.
