The current version of the klar app is not optimized for tablets. For security reasons, the klar mobile banking app does not work on "Rooted Devices". To use our new mobile banking app, you need an account with BAWAG P.S.K.

From 4 stars to 3 because of advertising (for their own products) on the main page of the app. I want to check my back account or do a transfer, not get advertising. Also, can't find the feedback button in the app anymore, so here's my feedback.
Not working properly, due to technical errors and bugs. I uploaded the latest version, and could not even get further than the red welcome screen when I got "technical error .. try again later". I use a Huawei phone in case this info helps. Unverändert, auch mit dem letzten Update, erhalte ich noch bevor ich wirklich in die App gelange: "during getting silent tan. Technical error occurred." Supermühsam, dass die app noch immer funktioniert.
Very good and dependable app
The App is easy to use and great... but after 2 times paying with my Debitcard suddenly it stopped working for online payments, now every time I try to pay online instantly it fails and the seller page advice me to contact my bank, as I did, but yet after 1 week nothing changed, as I refill the card infos and click on buy, the seller page request doesn't appear on my phone! The first 2 times I bought sth, it appeared right away on my phone screen, but now just nothing!!!
Downloaded it twice but did not install on my Android phone. Finally it opened to tell me "a technical error has occurred please try later" this continues after the latest update on opening the App. This App is in need of serious fixing. After the update 02/09/19 still the same error message: "a technical error has occurred please try later." Right at the start! What is it with this app. And read the comment before sending any random.reply to this comment!
Amazingly disfunctional application. A shame. I log in, get blocked for 6 hours due to security reasons (not further specified) and cannot do anything about it. Not even to mention the total mess of having three distinct apps in parallel for managing a simple bank account. A total failure.
The password autofill function is now bugged. Earlier you could just tap on the pop up and it used to fill the field directly, made it easier to login. Not anymore. Even though there's a pop-up, you still have to type your password in manually.
App is so so. Initial registration worked after a number of attempts where the app claimed I had mistyped my banking credentials (I hadn't). Eventually it worked. Using a pin rather than secTan seems a regression. I got a repeated "Transaction failed for technical reason" message trying to make a payment that had a "\" in the payment reference field (Zahlungsreferenz). This field should accept special characters. When I removed it, it worked. Previous reviews + own experience leave me sceptical.
Getting Error: Technical error occured, please try again later. Getting this error since 26/7...so I am not able to login sice then. My Android and Apps are all up to date. Error appears on Cellular as well as on Wifi. PLEASE check App handling. Thank you
Still facing occasional login issues
Really good overhaul. The UI is much better than the previous App and everything can be done in 2 or 3 clicks. One question: Will it be possible to use the digital card in the near future? As in have the card on the smartphone to make payments instead?
Wow this App is seriously $#!+..... HOW CAN YOU RELEASE A MAJOR APP WITH THESE ERRORS & BUGS??? I downloaded i t because i am a BAWAG Client and i HAVE to use it if I need mobile banking, but unfortunately I can't even login! It just keep on showing "Technical Error" and there is a BAWAG PSK return permanently on the notification panel even though you are not using the App!!!!!.. God Dammmnn... Please fix it before 12 Sept. 2019...
From 2weeks i am unable to use it its saying we can't log you in try again later same phone i am using from day first with this app but now from update its not log me in i have installed so many times Really irritating i can't buy anything online because 3d secure i have to confirm on app any solution
It does not have same options as the browser version, but it is simple, quick and effective. And payment is finally posible again....
HORRIBLE DISASTER. After several attempts, I managed to confirm the email. Every time, I had to log in again. Now I cannot confirm the phone due to a "technical error". Result? I can't use the app...
The app is very bad and seems like it's in early stages Getting errors the whole time and it's pretty slow Liked the menu design tho but still prefer the old app
Early days yet. However, now that I have resolved my initial problems with login, it looks better than the old app. It would be nice to have a branch finder for the times I need to speak to someone personally.
The Old one works PERFECTLY!!!! why do you fix something if it is NOT broken!!! the old app SHOULD work until the new App is stable. need some explanation here!
Very nice app with cool features! Signing in was easy and clear, menu looks clean and you have to like the Budgets feature. Keep up the good work!
The BAWAG App is really great ! i use it since it is available, and i never had any problems. It works worldwide and it provides you always every day with you're current Banking status. Thank you
Not able to log in since the latest update end of july. "A technical error has occurred". Also, i cant see my other bank accounts although this is possible via the web.
This app do not launch just says Root detected. I have no root access. When this app start it work normaly but after some updates it just say root detected and do not run at all.
I can not use the app. I start it. Then I get pop up to check if update is available, I went to play store, updated. I start the app agait, I get the pop up about updates, I click OK and the app just close it self
Every time when update comes I must enter with password . God damn it . I will change my bank . When I need it it doesn't work .Shame on this app .how stupid was I that I opened an account in this Bank . Every year I have to go personly in Bank and update my information .I wish I could not have had an account in this Bank .
Did you even test this app? It took forever to sign up, I gave up and now I cannot even connect anymore because of too many failed login attempts. So bad!
I installed this app today on my phone, but I can not login, I always get the same message: KlarLogin disabled, too many failed login ..... although I did never login.. please tell
App tells me "Root detected ... " which is why I'm not allowed to use it. My phone isn't rooted and I could use it before. Edit (Sep 3rd, 2019): The issue seems to be resolved, now I can use the app normally and it seems to work well, except the sliding gesture for recent transactions. If the feedback slider/button is aligned with the recent transactions view, the second page cannot be accessed. If I scroll a bit down, it works fine.
