When you are in an emergency and feel unsafe, the common instinct is to text and call your family, trusted friends and emergency services. Just contacting one person requires multiple actions (unlocking phone, accessing text/call app, finding contact, collecting and sharing current location and other information, etc…).
When we are in the midst of an emergency, the sooner we can notify and request for help the more likely we can be safe.

Fantastic approach to the safety app idea. I was using Life360 with my ex, so that he would be able to keep an eye on me when I walk home from the train station after work. However, he would use it stalk me all the time. I really like that with Baxta, my privacy is respected without compromising on my safety.
I'm not sure what the point is, it downloaded then upon open, went to a swipe page with several panels about features, that I will never see, because there is nothing more to the app. Deleted within 5 minutes of install.
Installed the app and try to create the account but didn't get any verification email to verify. Tried several times and waited 1 day still didn't get any email to verify the accounts, also checked the spam folder but no verification email then it was useless so uninstalled it.
My housemate is my emergency contact so it is not convenient for me to be sharing whereabouts with her 24/7. This is the only safety app that really allows me to control my level of privacy and still gives me absolute confidence that she has my back when I need it.
The app will not run if you don't grant all permissions. I don't feel like certain permissions are necessary for my purpose. I uninstalled it and will look for a different app that meets my needs.
Great app. Simple and does what is described. I especially like the activate via power button feature. Love to see what the new features will be.
Very useful product. Only thing is can u change contact page to have a 'save & close' button? Was confused what to do after I put in a contact number & I didn't want to send a test sms.
My friend recommended me to try Baxta, and I'm happy she did. I have tried a few other similar apps, unlike those app, Baxta seems to use significantly less battery, and it is not constantly sharing my whereabouts.
This is the perfect safety app for my family. The children still have their freedom and I have peace of mind knowing that they are safe. Very easy to use for the whole family and looks great too.
Brilliant app for families with growing kids. As a parent with 2 kids, it keeps me from feeling so worried and keeps my kids happy Im not getting on at them for their whereabouts which protects the trust I share with my kids. Brilliant idea!
Love this app. Makes me feel safe when I am out by myself. Compared to other personal safety apps, this was very easy to setup and use. And it is totally free.
Downloaded it but only works im on line and logged in with the app open?! Yeah as I'm being mugged, hold on mate while I log onto the Web and open the app???!!!!

My parents asked me to install this app. I don't mind it. Since I had this app, I added my friends as well. When we were at a rave party last week, we use it to find each other. Cool app.

Excellent app. My flatmate uses an iPhone, and couldn't find this app on the app store. Where can she download it?
This is a good app. In fact one of the few that really work as it says on the tin. Setting up ID's was a bit messy and needs to be installed and open on both phones. Otherwise worth keeping. Not sure about the reviews. Some are identical under different names!
