The Bay Alarm App offers the following features:

- User code management includes the ability to add, delete or edit users from your system on XR150, XR550 (software v 1.05) and XT systems (v 1.17)

All features may not come standard with your App. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

This app has problems connecting. Maybe 9 out of 10 times it fails connecting. Bay Alarm is dropping the ball by not addressing the problem and fixing it. This is the weak link in the system. They know it has problems and they have not done anything about fixing it. This needs to stop!
The app is essentially unusable. I'm lucky if I can connect 1 out of 5 times to either arm or disarm the system. And due to how my system is configured, this app is my primary control panel. I can only consistently connect, when the moon is full and not connected to WiFi. Good luck to anyone else that needs to use this app.
This app has constant connection issues. At this moment, I need to open a gate remotely and the app will not connect with the servers. This is a regular issue... it's not an issue on my end; I'm on a fiber connection with 3g up/down.
Worked well when we first got our alarm installed in 2020, but recently more often than not the app has trouble connecting to the system and crashes every time I try to connect to our doorbell camera. Very frustrating.
This application has nice features, but poor implementation. Very often the app refuses to connect even after multiple attempts. Other times it works flawlessly. It seems like the failed attempts are getting more frequent. I hope the developers can get this fixed soon, as this is an important adjunct to our alarm system.
After latest update screen is stuck on red screen with bay alarm logo in it. It doesn't go to login screen. Please fix this issue ASAP as we can't monitor alaram system being away from the premises. Thank you
Poor quality. Never logs in quickly and generally takes too long to respond. This is not an app that should be slow, especially when there is an alarm activation. I expect more from Bay. They are a good company but their tech side is poorly put together. I have three four different systems and they use separate apps. So lame.
So many features. The individual sensor management and notifications are amazing. They enable you to watch in real time or review a spot on date, time and sensor stamped path of travel for any body entering and moving through each door/room in your building including how long they were in each room. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST app and in my opinion ALARM SERVICE available on the planet. I have BAY ALARM in 2 of my homes and my commercial business and never had a glitch in the 5 years I've used them.
I have the same challenges as others, sometimes the app works and other times it doesn't. Additionally, there are no notifications provide when the app is going through maintenance or scheduled outages.
Use the "Virtual Keypad" app instead. Resolves the login issues.
Poor customer service, continuous technical problems since the service was switched to some other Bay Alarm platform that was said to be better than the previous product - it isn't - and overall not getting the value we deserve as a business account. Will likely be changing providers soon.
This app has so many issues. Half of the time I cant log in, one time my alarm went off I was never notified by app (yes I have it selected to be notified) cops came and now I have to pay a false alarm fee and the app doesn't show me log in / log out history!
App has great difficulty connecting, arming and disarming alarm. Most days it takes restarting app multiple times just to get a status. Needs major backend upgrades for users.
Good app overall, a bit slow and glitchy but gets the job done
Horrible app. Can't log in 9 out if 10 times and when you do log in it takes like 30 mins to actually log in after trying for 30 mins, not exaggerating. This is horrible app.
The app is terrible. It sometimes takes more than 4 minutes to open!! No way this app is an effective party is the alarm system!!
Very nice! Especially when your primary entrance has multiple locked doors. Now it's easier to go in thru a single exit door.
This app is garbage. It unfortunately gets in its own way. User flow throughout the app is cumbersome. Widgets are also less than useful.

This app is very inconsistent. There will be times where it will connect just fine and I can arm and disarm the alarm. Plenty of times where the app does not connect at all. I can't arm or disarm the alarm through the app. I'll have to go to the control panel to set alarm still. I also tried the alarm schedule feature and was not timed properly. I had it set to 3 pm one time and it was notifying me that it can't arm at 11 am.
