Wikipedia: Baybayin (Tagalog pronunciation: [baeˈbaejɪn]; pre-kudlit: ᜊᜊᜌᜒ, post-kudlit: ᜊᜌ᜔ᜊᜌᜒᜈ᜔) (known in Unicode as Tagalog script; see below), known in Visayan as badlit (ᜊᜇ᜔ᜎᜒᜆ᜔), is an ancient pre-colonial Philippine writing system. It is a member of the Brahmic family of India and is recorded as being in use in the 16th century.[1] It continued to be used during the Spanish colonization of the Philippines up until the late 19th century. The script is well known because it was carefully documented by Catholic clergy who lived in the Philippines during the colonial era.
The term baybay literally means "to spell" in Tagalog. Baybayin was extensively documented by the Spanish.[2] Some have attributed it the name Alibata,[3][4] but this name is incorrect (the term "Alibata" was coined by Paul Rodríguez Verzosa[1] after the arrangement of letters of the Arabic alphabet[5] alif, ba, ta (alibata), “f” having been eliminated for euphony's sake." )
Other Brahmic scripts currently among different ethnic groups in the Philippines are Buhid, Hanunó'o, kulitan and Tagbanwa.

its a great app but i think more room to improve its kind of hard to adjust the setting and going from english/ tagalog to baybayin but its actually good since this is the only baybayin keyboard app that actually works? . . . And last i think try to improve it more since its kind of lacking if compared to other keyboard apps cause but i like it cause it does not need to much memory space
Surely most of us experienced this — when typing Baybayin shows only boxes — which means most of the phone doesn't support BAYBAYIN unicode and yet, it’s missing in a fallback_fonts. However, when we about to browse internet using our mobile, we can see the baybayin script and unfortunate of us, we can't just type. So then, if we need to able to see baybayin then we need to be smart modifying our phone maybe, can figure ourselves how can we write Baybayin. 😊
The app works well and the characters are cool. To be able to use the app, you should install another app which was recommended upon installing this app. Another is, the baybayin character for letter R is just being represented by a ᜍ. Can it have its own symbol even if it is quite similar to letter d/ ᜇ? Thank you creators for having this app. :)
You should just make all in one app rather that two app plugins because it's time consuming and takes a lot of RAM and phone memory. I had a great experience using this app.
It doesn't work totally. Upgrade the characters because there are more characters. And please guide us how to use the cross part.
Im not sure what was wrong but it didn't work when I tried to use it in fb messenger. And another thing I noticed, the baybayin is not working as per baybay. Hopefully this will be fixed because I love baybayin and started studying it. I will download again this in future. 😊😊
Great app! I'm still waiting for an update that includes the 'ra' character and correctly identifies "nga". But overall, good job and thank you, developers!
Okay, this is something people ought to know. 1. I downloaded and opened this app 2. Downloaded Multiling O Keyboard 3. Selected my keyboard 4. You can seriously write Baybayin on this plug-in! 5. However, it does not appear in other apps or websites, unfortunately...
It's great! Only thing is the syllabic 'ra'… Do I have to change a setting on the keyboard in order to show the 'ra'? It only shows up as a box… like this ᜍ
It has no o,e,i,u kudlits plus it only works in the app, and nga, and ra don't exists, has no kudlit that cancels the vowel, well... You are using the qwerty keyboard, so it's something that's for sure
The app is not updated. It keeps closing and not working for the new versions of mobile phones.
The character for the "x" and "c" (ᜅ) on the keyboard are not correct. It is character for "ng".
3 stars because the R isnt working. its only showing a box. please update, cause other than that it works perfectly fine
guys... especially filipinos... this is a keyboard plug in... if you expect tutorials included, then get yourself a nice education about baybayin itself... dont reason out the budget... the internet is at your reach... this plugin is just a way our own writings should go with this era... for this plug in anyway, 4 star for the effort as my support
for the life of me, i have tried weeks trying to figure out how this works and i can't. it's not helping further that this application comes with no instructions.
It only works inside the app but when typing from diffent app the format is not being parsed. Just shows squares
This is just a text box that doesn't do anything and a message BN saying download something something. The point is this is not related to baybayin at all!

title is contradictinf to the actual functionality of the app. this is not a keyboard at all
it doesn't work, it wastes my storage, I'm finding some keyboard that has a "baybayin" because it was so unique, but, sadly, theres no keyboard, Dapat ito ang gagawin kong pangcaption ng dp para maiba.
I like it but some punctuations are missing like the | and ||. Please add them. Thanks
Works as expected. Not sure about the accuracy though since I'm not versed in Baybayin.

It isn't really accurate, but pretty close to baybayin
There is no baybayin keyboard at all and there is no instruction on how to use it.
COOL but need to fix some things... like "j" should be "h" I'm fine if there's no "r" because "r" is the same with "b" but it's your choice! Please improve it and I will give you 5 stars UwU

Very useful except for absence of a Pamudpod, a curved slash to kill the vowel of a last consonant. It is more useful than the x below because it can be seen better and it comes from other indigenous Philippine writing. I use the comma in the meantime. Works across platforms in Samsung but not in Huawei. The receiving phone may only show boxes unless it also has this app. Those looking for other letters, the Da is used for the Ra, these are interchangeable in most spoken Tagalog.
