Bayit Cam

The app constantly crashes and camera disconnects all the time or microphone does not work each time. It is a huge pain to have the camera go out right before nap time every other day and have to reset tbe whole device daily. Too late to return so now I am stuck with it. edit- device has stopped working completely. I have only had this for 2 months so now both the app and product are worthless.

Absolute garbage on Android. It is the first app I've ever seen freezing my phone. Setup is absolutely impossible on WiFi. I changed my WiFi's password because this thing can't handle special characters but that didn't help a bit. Experience calling flashbacks from the nineties...

The poor control this app provides over these cameras, as far as password issues is awful. For a while was perfect. Suddenly, it doesnt connect anymore. Internet connection is fine. Followed all procedures and still not working. This wil be awful promotion in my multiple chanels and reviews.

If you purchase this product, they provide a setup video for wireless setup, however the wifi setup will not work. In order for wifi setup to work, you will need to do the manual setup, once completed you will need to go to the advanced settings to setup wifi connections. Those steps are provided on the back of the manual. I have a Note 8, for those wondering what type of phone I have. Also the instructions on the manual are for iPhone users not androids but the steps are easy to follow. I purchased two of the following product from Burlington Coat Factory for $39.99, cheaper other places.

very good camera. not the best but good. anyways the way to have it connected to the wifi is you hook up the LAN wire to you router first then enter your wifi password after you have completed the basic stuff. then it'll be wireless 🤙🤗 *Mainly just read the review from TOYA WALKER. Date 12/8/18 they explained it very well!!!

Didn't have much trouble connecting it to my WiFi using to lan line and even worked once I disconnected it and moved to my designated room. Did have trouble connecting to it without having to be connected to WiFi but checked my router gateway and had to unblock the camera so I can use it without being connected to my WiFi. Will update if I come into problems.

Does not work most of the time. Hard to configure and to run on your wifi after setting it up is near impossible. No smooth operation here, the app will definitely freeze up on you.

unknown ssid issue . no customer support. I've emailed several times and not one email to confirm they received it. I have 2 cameras that cost me $50 each. Their website has a page where you could submit a support ticket but no calls or emails you back. I have waited for several weeks and I'm still waiting for somebody to contact me. Then only may have a phone number to call to talk to somebody which is pretty sad. Not to mention that app is old and does not support New in version of android.

Replacing my bayits this week... Cannot find ip addresses to update, they all come up as refused, can only use them when I am at home and phone is connected to home wireless.. useless, and no response from bayit when I contact them.

This app has not been updated since 2017. I have 3 cameras and 2 of them no longer will connect, or if we finally get it to connect it keeps losing the connection. Did you guys go out of business or what?

I just rated this a 1 star because the camera wouldn't work with my new Android. Then I went and got my older Android that I keep for gaming. The camera worked great on the old Android.... For about 30 minutes. Then it said I needed to update the camera due to a security issue. No matter what I do the update will not take. So very frustrating!

This app is usless. Every time I try to add my 2 camera's, all I get is a message that reads 'Unfortunately Bayit Cam App Has Stopped Working' and the program closes? Bottom line is don't buy a Bayit security camera, don't buy a Black Label security camera ,and don't waste your money on a Yosee security camera . Apparently they're for display purposes only since neither of them work correctly for viewing on any devices. This company only cares about the sale and don't even update this app.

connection process failed dozens if times. Manual and Quick. ended up using a mix of the 2 and got 1 device to see camera. 2nd device just says wrong password. poor app design also.

Used to work great, but since the beginning of January, I can only access them from my home wifi network. Can't access them remotely. Opened a case with Bayit over a month ago and didn't hear back from them. I have 3 Bayit cameras and now will have to replace them. Not a happy customer.

1-20-21. The cams were working great till two weeks. Tried everything thinking it's the router. Or the app. Now I HV found out the bayit server has been down . Customer support has no numbers just an internal email which says email sent but there's no response not confirmation email anything was sent. Bayit used to be good now it's plain useless. It seems it was hacked or so. It has a upnp to user.hk. Probably going to Hong Kong. Bayit executives. Fix your product before you go bankrupt.

Set it all up ready for LAN search and nada! The UID number would be listed. Refreshed several times and nothing. I even entered the UID numbers manually and still be results. Waste of $$$

The product is great but this app needs an update!!! There are no updates for app or camera system. I have had this camera for many years but would like to update my camera to know it is in great shape still.

So far, it worked when I was on MY wifi at home, but when I got to work and was on wifi, it said connection failed. When I have my mobile data on, it says connection failed. How does this get resolved?

does not work at all i did everything right when i go on the bayit app it tells me im online and lets me control the movement and the speaker from the app on my phone but does not show the picture on the screen on my phone it just says video quality loading not sure whats up with that but i done looked up everything about this and even reached out to the company by submitting what my problem is on a docket number i bought this brand new as a birthday for my wife and it doesn't even work

This app is very hard to connect it picks up the wrong camera and internet address and even when I scan it doesn't match up.

This worked great with my Apple iphone. I now have a Huawei and even tho it says they are compatible, they definitely are not. What a waste of money!

ok product, average app, terrible customer support. I can't connect camera to my app after getting a new phone, and support won't get back to me.

none of my cameras now work with my new phone this app is non compatible with the Galaxy S10 my camera system has been down for over a month and a half now going to throw them in the garbage and go buy a compatible camera systems...

Great device at a great price. I like how it swivels and how it allows two way communication. Picture is great, audio as well. Recommended.
