The content is amazing and very helpful Ma Shaa Allah. but the app, however, could be made more convenient to use. Please add features to increase the video speed on the app (it is on the website already) and also making the videos available offline as well, not just the audio, because videos are needed for the Arabic classes and others. Also, navigation is not very convenient at all time, for instance, if I click on a video from the searched up list, and try to go back, it goes back to the home page instead of the panel with the videos from the search.

Good app, kind of buggy at times. Cannot cast, big negative. Some of the download functions don't work properly. When I download notes, or try to, the application says I have downloaded them before and just won't let me. Navigating between videos is not very smooth. Great that I can switch on the fly between video and audio, what an excellent feature. The content is organized great, easy to find, but buggy to navigate between. All in all fantastic and needs more investment, hence 3 stars.

I like the content and the design. Most bugs are fixed, thank you! Now there is another bug that has come up for me when using the app. When I go to mics, Arabic with Husna and try clicking on unit 1 the app crashes every time. I am not sure whether that also happens for all the other units but I do know that you are still able to see the videos if you take a detour from staff pick introduction unit one.

Poor experience with this app. Excellent content, but the app is terrible. Hangs, bugs are plenty. Right now, for me, downloaded audio doesn't play when the screen goes off. Contacted them and no response. It's just so unfortunate. Whoever designed this app and whoever is responsible for it - you are doing a huge disservice to the mission. Please let someone who actually knows how to design media apps work on this.

It's really good, and it's very convenient that it can play in the background. I wish there's a button to rewind and fast forward for like 10 seconds, it'll be easier that way to re-listen something we missed, because sometimes I get distracted after listening for too long and lose focus, so when that happens I usually rewind it a bit.

I love everything about this app. Cool features, beautiful styling. However the reason why im giving this 4/5 because of playing downloaded videos. I have a habit of closing my phone when im listening. But when i want to pause the video, i find out that the video crusier is at the last position when the screen was on. So if i pause, im going to have a long time finding the last place i paused. Please fix this bug... Other than that, an amazing app

App works great, just wishing for a few things: for one it seems the last few ayat in the in depth explanation of Sura Kahf are missing. Buttons to rewind/forward by 10 and 30 second intervals would be great. A visual placeholder to show which video was the last one we watched, or watched partially. The audio can still be heard when the screen is off but it'll stop by itself after a few minutes, which breaks the train of thought during the lecture. Otherwise amazing content. Better than Netflix!

The app works like a charm. After I installed it, videos weren't playing for a few minutes (which could have been an issue with my internet connection), however I've faced no such issues thereafter. Suggestion: it would be great to have an option of going forward or going back by 10 sec while a watching a video. Perhaps a later update could have this feature : it would make following the lessons a lot easier. And lastly JazaakAllah khairan for the effort to NAK and the entire team of Bayyinah :)

Good App, could be even better with some improvements. For example, downloaded audio files when played allow the screen to lock so you have to unlock the screen to pause and navigate. Also, downloaded audio files do not playback from the same point where they were left off. You have to tap too many times to get to the desired section. There are too many unnecessary sections which are confusing to navigate. Navigation can definitely be improved. YouTube content should be made available.

This review is for the app only. I've been waiting for more than 2 months and the 400 error is still not fixed. I'm not able to log into the app and I subscribed only because I was aware the app is available. I don't watch content inside the browser and for the past 2 months didn't actually watch anything while being subscribed. Please, fix the issue soon. PS: There's a different version of Bayyinah TV app that has been last updated on 24th Dec 2020 as of today. That one works fine.

It does not allow to click on my email address to fill the field. one needs to type it out. even after that, it does not allow me to sign in. i cannot use my login details on website anymore either. Edit: I got an email with an updated password and it works now. Two things would make it awesome: Ability to cast to TV Ability to continue playing In the background

The updates are creating all sorts of problems . It usually stucks to buffering, whenever you start the app, or shift back to home page/screen of the app. Topics drop down doesn't work for most of the times. Don't know what hierarchy /categorization is being followed to store the content. Moreover I've being receiving frequent notifications of multiple pdfs being uploaded/adding to the app since 2 weeks. Kindly update and test the app as we are missing on all of the content on it.

3 stars are just for the app not content. The pause and play button has few issues like audio will stop and start playing automatically.. sometimes when you enter app after background use it resumes video from previous stage. forward and rewind button would be helpful. also if played in background I have to open the app to pause the audio if I need to. A pause button in notifications would be helpful.

I really do not want to leave a negative review but like others l am unable to access the app. I too am getting an error message. It is really frustrating as I have contacted the help desk and despite reinstalling the app a zillion times I haven't had any joy. I rely on Bayyinah for my studies but have not had any access for over a month. Even the help desk has stopped communicating with me. Hope to get a response through this.

This app is pretty excellent and easy to use. Its professionally made and worth the subs fee. This is important to simplify the studying process. I minused 1 star because the layout of the topics are not user friendly. I like to look at the overview of the topic and know how many videos i have to finish. Instead of listing it in video style, the older, plain text style list is much better. The video style list doesnt add value to the app n i hate it honestly. Please change it back.

Conetent is excellent but please fix the app. It is not user friendly anymore: 1) your intro videos for each section is not helpful. 2) downloads don't play in background. 3) your history appears on home page but when you access that video then press back button it goes to homepage not the surah you are listening. 4) start a section which takes time to start and then does not remember the place it was left ie the time which it was playing last. This is also the issue for downloaded audios....

haven't encountered any bugs which is awesome. you're missing the substantial feature for long-duration contents; a SEEK (FORWARD/BACKWARD) BUTTON. by the way it'd be cool if we had notification bar player and video quality options. i'd love to see ustaz's face expressions in better video quality haha isn't that one of the reason many of us subscribe? 😁

The app has definetly improved. I wish i could keep my downloads for more than 30 days. And if there is an issue with my cc not allowing the charge i have to set up a new account and loose all my bookmarks. This happened to me when my card expired and i failed to give the new info b4 the bill was due. Otherwise its so much better than the other interactions.

Asalamu alaikum. There are too many bugs in the application and some times the videos and even aduio won't play. It suddenly stop playing and then won't load again. I have to close the application and then play it again. Can you please fix this, it is seriously so annoying. And please add support for Chrome cast. This still feels like a beta app and not the fina product. It needs lots of debugging. *I'm criticizing app, not the content.

I love Bayyinah tv content, but the app needs improvements such as: 1/ the attachment files to lectures are downloaded but cannot be viewed. 3/ the app need to allow changing the speed of the lectures 1.25x 1.5x 2x such in youtube. It's time saving for me. 4/ download the video and offline playing which is amazing feature when commuting.
