Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual terms.

Disappointed would be an understatement! I've been a GW subscriber for decades and I was hoping this app would allow existing subscribers to sign in and access gardening tips, maybe integrate with the exclusive digital content mentioned in the paper magazine. But no! It's just advertising to buy digital copies of the magazines I already have. Why would I want to do that?! Someone's missed an opportunity here. So uninstalled and sticking with my paper copy through the door, thank you.
One of the worst apps I have installed. Downloading of a magazine takes long time, and after minutes of waiting I can't open it. The application crashes every time I try to open downloaded issue. It does the same when I try to send an email to the support team to report the problem.
The app doesn't work. Would never let me log in even though I could log in just fine through web browser. Pony up for print or don't bother. Not worth the digital price without a functioning app.
Despite subscribing via this app, and despite a notification today saying I should be able to now, it still doesn't give me access to subscriber-only features. Last app update was 20 October so I guess the required update hasn't propagated out through the Store yet. Maybe I'll be able to use all the features of this app before my 1 year subscription is up. If not I definitely won't be renewing.
Suggests you can get loads of advice etc by downloading app. Reality is it offers nothing. Just a link to subscription to the magazine that then unlocks content... Or rather doesn't as so many have commented! Going to report as it is quite simply false advertising. No doubt it harvests loads of your data just for downloading it.
Recently upgraded to an S21 ultra and now the app refuses to accept my log in details, but I can still log in online and on my old phone. When I could access my subscription I've never been able to get in to the secret Garden area on the app, only online. Really not worth a download.
It appears that EVERYTHING is an in-app purchase. As far as I can see, it's just selling online version of the monthly mag. Each mag online is 4.99 or a printed copy from a shop is 5.45. Online should be way cheaper! Deleting app now.
No way to access subscription despite multiple methods tried. No customer service support either so no way to remedy it. Would have been okay if it had a way to see the magazines electronically but it won't show me my latest issue.
Very poor or no customer service. I sent 3 emails and thus far no response. A yearly subscription of £39.00 is a lot if you cannot read it or you get no response. Please answer your emails and get better with customer service. It is 2021 after all.
I have paid for my subscription but frequently the app asks me to pay for the next issue. I purchased a new Samsung tablet and the issues will not load on it no matter how many times I reload or try to refresh it.
Disappointed. I thought that this would be full of help and advice but it's just an advert for subscription or to buy back issues. There are no articles at all.
Can never view subscriber content like secret garden through the app on my phone or tablet, even though I can access it from a browser with my subscriber number. Doesn't give me the option at all. The only thing I use the app for is to have the magazine content.
Disappointing, its main function is to sell digital copies of the magazine. Not worth having if you already subscribe to the paper copy of the magazine.
I wanted to use this app to supplement my paper subscription. I expected to be able to use it to access the Secret Garden. It appears that you can only do this if you have a digital subscription. Why can't it be extended for use by other subscribers?
Always a problem EVERY month with the latest issue. Always turns up about 10 days later. Bloody awful.
I should have read the reviews. It is only an advert for their magazines. The website itself gives out so much information, freely, and I thought this would have been a shortcut to it.
Useless, would have given it 0 stars. IT won't let me login with my credentials. I have even gone to the buy subscriptions website to change my password but it still comes back with a login failure.
Installed this thinking it would provide some gardening tips, as advertised. No such thing, just a selling app, you can buy the magazine, nothing more. Quickly uninstalled again. AVOID
Page turning is slow. I wish I could afford the American print version. We stream the show and absolutely love it.
Love the programme on tv, but this app means I have to pay a fiver a month for any sort of gardening....hmmm...its a no from me. I dont mind paying a little here and there for extras but not for the app. Sorry x0
Completely useless, have been trying to access the secret garden for ages, keeps asking me to subscribe. I'm already a subscriber, and there is nowhere for me to enter my subscriber number.
Such a useless app. You can only use it if you subscribe to the digital version of gardeners world. For all non-subscribers it does nothing at all. Paid app only
Cannot get to open. Was not aware I wouldn't be able to read this on a computer rather than a phone or tablet when I purchased it. No response to an email I sent over a week ago. Want to switch to paper copy.
I have had the same problem as others. Downloaded first magazine but the next couldn't download despite many attempts.....very frustrating!
Doesn't give me access to subscriber content even though I'm a subscriber. The advice given to getbtgr access doesn't work. No way of contacting them.
I have a 1 year subscription and I cant access the issues. Keeps asking me to pay for them. Customer service is awful, never get a response.
I have subscribed and the app keeps forgetting my subscription registration. Also having subscribed to a paper edition it would be great to access this online.
Never install this app. Rather misleading. Looks free but after opening it it says you have to pay subscription. Why not indicate before one install it. Did not expect this kind of cheap bait from BBC. Just one star Cos I can't go below that
Although I'm a subscriber and receive the magazine monthly, when I log into the app it keeps asking me to purchase a subscription and won't let me view anything, even though I'm logged in.
Love the new app. At first I thought about how flat the structure is...ie boring because unlike the old app you can't see the great double page layouts and their artistry in terms of copy and image together.. it's just copy OR picture now. Interesting how you can read the editorial and miss out ALL the ads...which may not be a good commercial decision for revenue! DO NOT LIKE how new app can't remember and return to your last page. Like the read aloud and share options. Overall... great
