Hey guys, you have a nice app, but I think I've found a bug, not a huge one. If I leave the app in background while using other apps or while the phone isn't in use, the app loses connection and only works after restarting it.
This app is really interesting and it is very useful and good to learn vocabulary. At first I am very neglect about it and now I noticed that this is the only app which help me to progress in my knowing English. Thanks for the developer and I recommend this to everyone. But please fix this I cannot download through my own network/data, always need to connect wifi in order to download. Will be very thankful if you could fix this. Thanks 😊
I haven't yet tried all the videos , but those I tried, every single one is available! Can't play any video while the screen is turned off. Web app is infinitesimally better. This app is a travesty.
After completing the core test successfully when I tapped for pronunciation, fluency and communication test, the face verification camara didn't work. I tried several times but still stuck there. Fix this as soon as you can.
Better app, but it contains only basics. I need some graduate level Phrases & other things. And the background of the video skin is ugly, it seems like quite noisy and inappropriate.
This is from Hong Kong. I love this app very much because I can learn how to be a native speaker in English. Furthermore, it's free to learn more effective English! Thank you for creating this app!
Perfect lessons with so many examples but one thing is actually needed...to be able to download lessons in order to be able to liste lesson while walking or cruising the city...
This app is very useful for learning new English. The programmes are well balanced and touch many aspect of the daily life including science, media, tech and more. However, the app can be buggy at times. Some programmes don't just open at all and updates can be slow. My biggest frustration is with the learn with drama programme. Stories like 'Jamaica Inn' has never opened for me. Pls fix this and other issues to make this app more useful.
It's very good app for learning because it can practice every skills and I love how there is quiz after listening. It can help us a lot❤
My teacher recently recommended this app to me and honestly I'm surprised how good it is. For over a year I feel like my skills do not develop at all, I understand almost everything while watching series, but I have a poor resource of words and am kinda unsure when i have a talk with a British person in real time. I hope it will change after I'll use this app.
This app is very useful but I want to do a suggestion. Most of people do the dictation exercise but this app is very difficult to do that. First, the play and stop button is very small. Second, they even disappear after few seconds.. So I need to click two times to play and pause. If this two is upgraded, this app will be perfect.
I've got to say that, in comparison to using Duolingo, this website here just smashes it in any possible way you can imagine. I find it quite similar to EngVid, but with an actual application for your phone, it has as much as hundreds of useful topics you can go over, and even though simple at a times, disposing of the explanation of a real teacher always helps to grasp with the idea just a little easier.
This is the best app for learning English. In this you can boost your Vocabulary by learning new words and phrases through news which is great 👏
It's a good App, but unfortunately doesn't allow to download on mobile data but on active WiFi. Please permit the downloads on mobile data as well...
Not only useful, but also is motivating. There is only one problem. It doesn't download on mobile data to prevent extra charges, whereas this leads to use more data when the user doesn't have access to a wifi. Also there is no entry on settings to let the user change degault behavior.
Very useful! Many interesting topics and great differentiation between levels. I really like it. But it's sad that the app stops working and displays a mistake if I don't close it but switch to another app for adding new word to my vocabulary app. So, this app cannot work in background :(
I am giving it 1 star because of the experience I'm getting. When I first downloaded the app. It was working fine and I must say it is quite a good app for learning. But just after 2 days, it is sending notifications for learning but once I tap the notification to open the link - the app shows error and says *Try Again*. I am not able to understand the cause. I have deleted cookies and caches. Reinstalled the app. But the issue remains the same. Please help.
It is a useful app. But if there was a search box to filter out the content, it could be better.
I would like to report my inconvenience with this App for two reasons; the first is it's not allowed to download anything falling under the scope of intermediate, upper intermediate, Advanced. The second and the most important is that the application immediately closes everytime i open it. Looking forward to solving the second problem in the near future.
It is a really good app but it has some technical problems with the downloads, even if you have the podcast download it won't open until you connect with Internet, it is really annoying issue. And by the way, the ads are a too much, i mean a little more than how it should be.
App seems to be down for the past few days...please check. I've been using the app for the past few years, without a problem. Now, it just shows the green home screen at open and doesn't go to the homepage which houses the menu and various sections. Post dated 13 Dec 2021
The contents in the app are praise worthy but the app takes a lot of time to open or doesn't open at all. I have to uninstall and reinstall everytime i try opening the app. I have even accepted the permissions required for smooth functioning of the app. Kindly look into this problem.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC... i have been using this App since last month and i have to say this is the best english learning App i have experienced so far. Lessons are very brief and understandable and most of the lessons have a quiz at the end of the lesson to check your knowledge. It is so satisfying when you get scores such as 4 out of 5 and 5 out of 5 since you are truly learning things like "Grammar". Some lessons can be downloaded and you can learn those lessons offline when you are free. 👍
