Stability has improved so that's very positive. In terms of content it seems like the basic information is subsumed by theatrical headlines. For me it's important to get the scores and results but often these aren't prominent. Racing (horse racing as it's often called) which occurs everyday with often thousands of spectators doesn't even get onto the main list of sports!

a little difficult to find what you are looking for. easy to read fonts and layout. no intrusive ads

The new face of BBC app is just frustrating 😑 it keeps asking for sign up every time you open and yet it will like forever to load 🙄 😑 please fix this issue

Sadly, for international readers, the site is fatally hampered by UK restrictions on video clips, which only UK viewers can watch. The BBC Sport site will remain an 'also ran' one as long as this obstacle persists.

Good sport reporting. Better still if next sport item could be flipped either right or left instead of going out completely before going to next item.

I hate apps with adverts. Apple apps don't have adverts. It is why the Apple product is doing so well. I switched from apple to Samsung because I like the Samsung product. I am quite prepared to make a one-off payment for the app if it meant no ads. The app is excellent. Just get rid of the ads that seem to be inserted by google. We are into sport and not the ads stuck at the bottom of stories. Please include a button that allows you to remove them.

Great app. I wish we wouldn't have to click endlessly on arrows to see the main events of a given match (blue boxes)

its hard to find championship football and too much woman's sport. app should differentiate the areas between men's and womens.

Great content but I'm not a fan of the new design. 1/4 of the screen is now taken up by massive tickboxes for different categories. These used to be in the sidebar which was much less obtrusive. Please revert back to the old design.

Terrible. Will not download pages and after 3 months of trying, and no help from BBC either. Only seems to work if you have the latest phone/tablet but not everyone wants to waste £100-400 every few years. All apps should be backward compatible or should not update onto operating systems that can't run the app. This is a typical 'throwaway'attitude that is destroying the planet. So much for the BBC's concern for our environment.

Being from the USA, I like the football coverage offered by BBC Sport better than the news sources available to me usually.

Disappointed, Poor. Didn't know this app existed until a BBC survey alerted me. Installed, and selected this as preference over Chrome, when linking in from elsewhere. Too many pages get stuck in page frame loading loops. Have to close all open apps to get my phone back. Uninstalling. Using a P20 Pro.

A quick reliable very wide ranging service which is reliable and very trustworthy with any stories it runs because of how it is ran by the government. I would always come first to this site when I need rock solid facts which I may need to quote elsewhere as I believe it is screened immaculately for everything that it relays to the public. Completely unusable now. Any link I click on takes me into an infinite loop. Reinstalling does not fix this issue. How hard is it to make an app that emulates a website with links that actually work? Well if the BBC is anything to go by apparently it's extremely difficult

The App has a lot of gliches however the new update has minimised such but the App does not respond at times, yI usually have to stop & restart the App which is annoying. The App layout could also improve, it always provides the English FA news first then one has to search to get other related news in sports which aren't English - BBC Sport is English however the layout of the App shouldn't be that hard to navigate esp if you aren't looking for only English FA news. Otherwise i'm content for now

I enjoy BBC sports app, although it is a wee bit biased sometimes toward English sports! Good comprehensive run down of all sports, especially soccer and F1. Plus they touch on irish sport through the N.Ireland BBC sports. Unfortunately as I live in Australia, I am not able to play videos as it states it doesn't work in this region!

Long press menu does not work. One gets error message that "app isn't installed". Still doesn't work with the latest update. Wish you would fix it. Come on already. This feature works with the BBC News app. Why can't it be fixed here? STILL doesn't work.

BBC Sport is great, however the app is far from perfect. It can be quite glitchy and slow to load sometimes, especially when playing videos. A shame, because it has the potential to be brilliant

The sport on the news app seems easier to navigate. The sport app is always slower than the BBC news app. The options to configure MySport do not seem to cover many categories. I would not recommend this app

Erratic. I am reinstalling again. Too often the app does not open or, if it does open, nothing happens when you select a story to read. If you are lucky you get a blank yellow page. Let's try again!

I love the app. it keeps the data if you have an account in case you uninstall the app the settings you set eg football events or teams you chose will be restored when the app is reinstalled and it's very effective and accurate. Keep it up developers

It's an app for looking up sport. would give 5 stars but I feel like the user interface isn't very intuitive and could use some work so far as not having to spend long times searching for specific things.

This app is OK for the expat. Keeps me informed about the football and is less Premiere league centric than it was. it still discriminates against those expats like me, ( who no longer count with the BBC). It dangles carrots with "click here to view a bit of video!" only to be told it's not available where you live! (As I say the BBC no longer think expats are important or worth their time).

this app has been brilliant! until NOW. Will not load anything and I have a continuous yellow screen. have uninstalled and installed on several different devices and all the same. sort it please. our whole household love BBC sport app!!!!!

For me the editorial checks on standard of written English language spelling of words has drastically fallen in the last 4 years to be precise. The BBC was a reference that I have been proud of and want to continue to be proud of as a flagship of excellence in the use of written English language well into the future. Most BBC apps do not work in America, that would help increase popularity of English television programming here in the United States.

Nightmare for live coverage. Trying to watch world snooker championship and the live video just doesn't work on my iPad, on my iPhone sometime it works sometimes it doesn't. The play button just does not show up once in a while. Unbelievable for bbc

Very poor on some devices. Will not start up on Android devices ver 4 up. Not good. Recent update 19-12-2019 to rectify this problem caused more problems for existing working devices. BBC SPORT APP non operational on Android apps since the apparent 'update' to cure start up crashes on other devices. Still can't open the BBC SPORT APP!

BBC Sport helps me keep up with football results. Keep up the good work..👍
