4.5 stars for this app? Right... I am sure the keep their rating up artificially because there is no way this app deserves this rating. Cheap and ugly looking spam (everytime) I try to login in. No Customer service, paying fees and insurances just to be able to open an account. And guess what? More spam! Story short: another bank that does the minimum for its customers and goes to full lengths for profits and profits alone.
The app is very confusing, worst interface ever. Features and options are slow (too many tap here and there, read documents...) and restricted, there's no real option of customization. Accounts can't be deleted 🤦🏼... BBVA is supposed to be a big bank, why don't you spend on good programming or just copy one of the beautiful banking app out there. I'm frustrated because every time I open the app I wasting time looking around, the app should make life smoother instead.
It is the best Bank App. I use now more than 10 app differents banks different countries!!! I am really appreciate for the App!!!
For a "big bank" app, this is an amazing user experience. Packed with features, but easy to use. BBVA have really set the bar high, and I prefer this app to other fintech alternatives such as Revolut, which is saying a lot! New feature just added of "rules" to set automatic savings and rounding of purchases a great new edition. Only peeve is the notification that I'm elegible for a loan at the top of the home screen, even if I close it, it reappears on relaunch. Well done BBVA and keep it up!
Everything works. It's just too much, too many windows and features. Edit: I am downgrading my review from 3 stars to two. The app still has too many 'bells and whistles', but now it also constantly promotes 'no paperwork loans' all the time and always ask for a review for every single Bizum action. They don't seem to prioritize user experience at all.
it still doesn't work, it's literally hit or miss but mostly miss. for an internet bank account it would be great to be able to access the thing every once in a while. I'm stuck at the first page but its just a bunch of bars where all the information and options are loading except it never finishes loading. Nokia 6.1 android one. I will update my review once it works until then 1star because 0 isn't an option.
Bank app with allot of ads for bbva in the app. Bank apps are no place for ads!
The functionality of the app is great, but there are a few points to improve though in my opinion, which are: - Performance: the app takes 2 or 3 times more seconds to load than my other bank apps - Entry page view: when I open the app I mostly check my balance and movements. The current view shows balances, but requires an extra tap (and waiting) to see my last transactions. - Chat with a person: if I want to talk to a person I have to make a phone call.. It's the 21st century guys! ;)
I live in the UK. So I can't use my UK number. Fair enough. However, I have verified a Spanish number. And also I set up a face recognition and fingerprint to be able to login easily. However, after a while of not using the app it doesn't recognised any of those. And also don't allow me to log in as it detects that I'm outside Spain. Constantly problems. On the other side, when I was using the app before was very good.
No way to contact by secure message anybody in case of problem.
The app is fine, annoying that BBVA charge for debit cards though....
Very good bank and useful app but 40€ charges per trimester is not acceptable! To much condition to keep the account free from fees( you need an income of 800€ monthly, you must pay 2 times with the credit card or pay 2 bills. Now you must get a credit card and pay with it min. 50€ monthly). Too much! I will change the bank!
I have tried to create an account online, I filled the form and everything was correctly entered, I had a big issue with the ID scan, I couldn't scan because the machine didn't recognize it. I have heard so many good things about your application but all this technical issues or maybe discrimination criteria are very annoying. Conclusion ? You lost a potential client with a correct salary. and please make an effort to write customised replay and no copy/past message send email to ...
Creating an account requires that you upload the necessary documents, however this is only possible using the apps poorly optimised built-in camera. On my A70, the app inexplicable makes use of the wide angle lens, making it impossible to capture clear images up close. There's no option to upload from Gallery, thus I was unable to create an account. Next bank...
The services are unique helpful.
Cannot open account of older than 30 years. It's not written anywhere and you get to know it only at the end of the process,after making all the photos of your documents and videos of yourself and filling all the data. A perfect example of bad user experience.
I have seen better bank apps. This app is blocking very often, sometimes i have trouble signing in, it says the password is incorrect but i introduce it corectly. The menu is also blocking from time to time. The menu is not very well organized . You can definitely improve this app!
One of the clearest, easiest to use, and most informative banking app I've ever seen. It's always updated. You receive all notifications in esay-reading messages. Best of the best 👏 👍
non very intuitive, not the worst but not intuitive. As a bank they should offer a better tool targeting on the elders. I dont think an old man would find this app easy to navigate with. And I think they have some money to create something better. They denominate themselve the best bank app of the world, lol.
Simply functional and practical
All most an app that is working, but is not the case. They still have to copy from N26 & Revolut how an banking app should work. My case? Bad user experience, login failures with the right password, account locked with no sense. Everything can be fixed only with human interaction. This is not an online banking is a bank with old management and tight coupled with human interaction! Is like you do not have an online software.
I used to like this app but I now keep seeing popup notices offering loans and card finance which i have to close before I can review my account. And if i don't hit the x button exactly to close the notice, I am taken to a window to initiate a process that I then have to close it down and answer a feedback about why I stopped the process - all this before I can do what I wanted in the first place.
I live outside Spain for work and can't access my bank account because the app even though states it's sending sms for two-factor-authentication I never receive the messages. Called support 4 times. They verified my phone number is correct in their system. Their advice is to restart my phone :( Very poor support. Wish their backend systems were more robust.
Poor, the troubles start at log in. SMS that are sent with verification code and never arrive, new security feature, you see, what a relief, no one will be able to get in, not even myself. Simply annoying and such a waste of time. Cannot say more, because I cannot log in, the sms never came, so no verification code.
I get bombarded with banners that I have to keep on closing every time I open the app. Like if I close them all the previous 10 times, maybe I'm not interested? Why keep on trying? They just take space and because they take longer to load, often pushes content around and makes me missclick. Disgusting really, and I have all promotions disabled, yet tho here we are.
I made many attempts but it keeps saying that the photo of my ID is insufficient clarity. The worst part: they tell to avoid light reflection but then insist on using the flash which ALWAYS causes reflection. Now I have to go to the office to open an account
The language settings does not working properly, so it makes hard to use the whole app. If the laguage on the phon other than spanish it should be in english, but that does not work, all the times uses Castellano. It should be english. Previous version worked properly.
It recommends you choose the video call route to verify ID. I am resident here BUT doesn't say an NIE card will not work. The online process allows you to input NIE card scans. When you get to the video call, the agent can't ID you. I was told to start the process again and pick the other ID route. BUT - you cant, because my previous details are still in the system. It's for DNI TIE folk I think. Seems there's no English speakers before 4pm, after which good luck speaking to someone if U call.
