Having a visit couldn’t be easier. Once you register for an account, you can connect with doctors or therapists wherever it’s convenient for you: at home, in the office or even while traveling.
ONLINE HEALTH CARE OPTIONS
Depending on your plan, you can see a telehealth practitioner for medical, therapy or psychiatry services.
Medical services
Online doctors are available 24/7 for minor symptoms like sore throats and stuffy noses.
If they determine that you need a prescription, they can send one to your nearest pharmacy. They can also send visit notes to your primary care physician at your request.
All of our telemedicine doctors are U.S. board certified.
Therapy services
See a doctoral-level psychologist or a master’s-level therapist by appointment.
Therapists include clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors.
All are trained in prevention and treatment techniques specific to telemedicine.
Psychiatry services
Our psychiatrists are online doctors who are also U.S. board certified.
They’re available by appointment and are capable of treating a variety of behavioral health conditions.
They can prescribe medications and work with you to manage them, too, if you need it.

2nd time using the online doctor visit. Both good experiences. Better than going into a possible covid infested waiting room. I used my phone and had no issues with the connection at all. This will always be my 1st choice if it's something that can be diagnosed over video chat. I was only billed $59 so no complaints about that at all. Wait time was less than 10 minutes.
Corona makes for a long waiting room. Also app doesn't work well in the back ground. Gotta sit in waiting room with no phone,or take the chance on loosing a place on the waiting list. I think it would be a better experience if it worked in the back ground and had some kind of sound to wake you if you fall asleep in waiting room. I did it 3 times.🤫
It was much easier than I thought I would be. I was able to select from several doctors and see their ratings. The app allows for you to cancel before the doctor comes on which is great. Glad I didnt cancel because the doctor was also able to send prescription in to my pharmacy too.
I had to register since this was my first time using online services. That was easy. There were 2 patients ahead of me. I did not try to do other things on my phone while in the waiting room. I waited 20 minutes, saw the doctor, and was done. Fast, easy, waited what I felt was a very reasonable period of time, considering it's not a set appointment and I imagine many are taking advantage of this service now with the shelter in place order in effect. I will use this again.
This app has been a hame changer for my mental health. I had a problem with keeping drs appointments in person but this has really made things soo much easier for me. My mental health has improved tremendously. I havent has the chance to use the other features but im sure they are great!
The BCBSM App is absolutely fantastic!!! This is probably my 4th time using the App and the fact that it saves so much time and eliminates the need to go to an Urgent care or Emergency room is the best part. You can begin healing so much faster. I recommend this App to everyone with an immediate non-emergency health concern. Also, all of the doctors are fabulous!!!
We can't have our whole family on both my husbands and my app it's their one or the other. Every time we have a visit for something they say is covered on the actual online visits we get sent to a doctor every time because they can't do the visit over the app. And this latest two three times they've tried charging us saying that it was not covered and I'd have to submit a receipt which is stupid because we would be at zero otherwise. Because my family's app visits are cost zero. App is worthless
With two kids, this is the best app on my tablet. I have used it while traveling, after hours, and holiday. My kids seem to suddenly need medical attention at the most inopportune times. This app has saved me 4 trips to ER/Urgent care in less than 2 years.
Terrible and extremely disappointing. I had a skin issue and sent photo ahead of time to clinician I selected. She didn't seem to know why I was needing help despite my stating it on questionnaire nor did she receive photo sent. We got cut off within about a minute, and she never called me back. It was a one hour waste of my time loading app, signing up account and filling out medical info, and waiting for appt to begin.
Pretty cool app where you can see each other and talk live. However, don't try to send a text or do any other operation (web surf or email) or it will kick you off the system and you'll lose your place in line if you are waiting. You'll have to re-log back in again although the info. you previously entered will still be there to copy over.
Excellent - an easy to navigate app, first-time user with no issues setting up appt./insurance/pharmacy info and getting right in to the 'waiting room' for a pediatrician. The doctor was friendly and asked everything I'd have expected to make a diagnosis by screens. This will be fabulous for those URI/flu visits, to get through that, "let it run its course" stage of illness that I'd know would be coming even if I went in to a brick/mortar for vitals.
Very easy to use, see your benefits, what you've paid, access rewards for certain medical visits or procedures (awesome perk!), and gain access to one on one support.
So far so good..app is pretty seamless and easy to use..except I'm having some issues on getting my insurance lined up with it so I'm getting charged alot for but I should be able to get that fixed soon and get refunded the difference
I am impressed with this app. First of all, it is very easy to use. They have made it so comprehensive that a child could walk through it. Second, the wait time is way shorter than going to the doctor's office, urgent care, and ESPECIALLY the emergency room. I've used this app twice so far and my longest wait time has been 2 minutes! Last but not least, the doctor who I saw on both occasions has been very professional and courteous. She listened to my concerns and helped me as needed. I'm happy
I used it for the first time tonight, so glad I found it. Simple sinus infection which I'm prone to. Was able to get script for antibiotics without having to go to urgent care. More importantly...my visit cost $10 instead of $75. :) My only issue is the pharmacy locator map is off, so I had to hunt my pharmacy down. It showed my pharmacy being a mile south of where it actually is, with other pharmacies around it, that aren't there either. :(
the use of this app for my therapist and psychiatrist meetings has truly changed my life. i get to have my therapy sessions in the security and privacy of my own home. i do not have the additional unease of getting to an appointment or arranging a ride to an appointment. i feel this is something that empowers me to get help and not have to get a family member involved. i now have full control and the indepedence to manage my own healing.
It's always been very quick and useful. The doctors I've seen are always kind and efficient. I'm prone to sinus infections so it makes it much quicker and easier than going into the doctor every time. I love having the ability to use this service.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE........Therapist made me feel very comfortable. She was knowledgeable and informative as well as easy to talk too. NaMetris has a caring spirit and she listens well. I recommend her to everyone who needs guidance.
Fast, easy, and thorough. Being able to have live video discussion with a Doctor in a private room in a clinic was reassuring. Having a list of available providers to choose from is nice. Having my puppy chewing on my arm because I was on my laptop was not ideal, however, lol. Doc got a good laugh from it.
Frustrating when you keep making appointments and they cancel last minute and when it says you have to see the previous provider who is not taking appointments. It also does not let you send any providers messages.
1st time I ever used this app! It was the easiest trip to the dr. ever! spoke with stephenie she was easy to talk with she listened and nice as can be. Very professional! Glad i did this instead of going to some place flu ridden!
What a FANTASTIC experience! You can choose from several doctors, and you can see how they look and their experience. The only thing missing, obviously, is a physical exam, but how nice to be treated and not have to leave home!
This tool has failed me twice now, trying again tomorrow. Your tech support said my end was fine, it on yours. It is not conducive to ones mental health to experience these failures when trying to get better. I could lose my job if I don't get to speak to a doctor soon.
Good. My first doctor went offline while I waited but the second doctor was available soon after, was quick, easy to talk to and understand.
Perfect! Apps works great and I was able to see and be diagnosed by a doctor within 15 of downloading the apps was great. App worked and text and camera was good.
Was my first time using this app, downloaded it this morning and found it very easy to use. Will definitely use it in the future! Update used while on vaca in Florida, so easy and convenient and I feel much better using this than going to clinic
Had a dental emergency on memorial day and could not find a dentist to see me due to the holiday. For my first time using BCBSM online app, I have to say that it went better than I ever thought it would. The doctor was excellent and because of my pain made it a short visit asking a few questions that pertained to my emergency and saved my life almost literally by getting me the medications necessary to treat a possible abscessed tooth.
I've never done telemed before. And I think it is wonderful to be able to be connected with a doctor so quickly and fairly easily. It is really user friendly and I was able to find my way around quite well.
My first time seeing a Doctor online. I had an appointment with Dr. Tiffany Hendricks and she was awesome!!! She listened to my concerns, I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable very pleasant. If you are having a non emergency medical issues, questions, feel slightly under the weather I recommend using an online visit.
Kicks you off if you are fast enough for some reason. Kicked me off trying to get my password. Then trying to upload picture then trying to get out my credit card. Just have EVERYTHING ready to go and it works great if not it'll make you start all over. Try not to leave app if possible.
