Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts members can use the MyBlue Member App to look up their personal health care information quickly and easily from the convenience of their mobile device. To use the app, members must register using their account number located on their member ID card.
Members can use the app to:• Access an interactive ID card, and email a copy to their doctor• Direct dial important phone numbers, like Member Service and our 24-hour Blue Care nurse line• Review recent claims, doctor visits, and prescriptions• Find nearby doctors, dentists, and hospitals• View information for dependents under 18• Get driving directions to hospitals and doctor offices• Review spending accounts, such as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health• Reimbursement Agreement (HRA), or Health Spending Account (HSA)

Wow this app is really bad. Did anyone QA this? When you find a provider and have to go to another app, guess what? That provider info is gone and you have to log back in. I gave it 2 starts just because I was able to look in and search, but its otherwise horrible.

I've revised my rating upward after a very helpful phone call. First issue that was addressed was that not all BCBS accounts can switch to email or text notifications. Second is that the android app does not have the functionality that the website (& apparently Apple devices have).

Fine when/if it works. I can see easily where I want to navigate to or what I'd like to use... It just never stops "loading" the entire page will be there with a never ending loading wheel in front of it preventing use. Have to force close and start again, but always at some point somewhere it just gets stuck stating it's loading. New to this company but not impressed so far, app is buggy, and I never receive responses to email questions about my coverage either. 😑

This app is horrible. Consistently underperforming at best. Unacceptably slow transition from screen to screen. Login credential retention is hit or miss on a good day and this includes finger print mode. Face recognition is a joke. My 10 year old daughter could develop a more effective app. Developers...you should be ashamed of yourselves. Do your job.

Based on other reviews, I'm lucky I can log in. However, it doesn't remember you, and if you turn off the "remember me" it will just turn it back on the next time you log in. The face recognition doesn't do anything, forced to log in each time and the field for the username confuses both my password keepers so it puts the password in there too. It's merely a web portal, not a real app and no QA that I can tell if the main problems are on the first screen!

SUPER SLOW. Why?!?! This app is too important to be so slow!! Please fix it! It takes forever to sign in and search for doctors, I feel like I'm using a 56k modem connection when I'm using 400 mbps on my home wifi.

The app runs terribly. Please redesign. Load times are miserable. Scrolling stops working from time to time. When I opened up a search bar, I typed four letters and my key board closed to show me a loading screen for the auto complete results. I think it's timed, so people who are slow typers are sure to have a miserable time navigating that.

for some reason they chose to put an unskippable intro clip when the app opens. you can't get rid of it and it accepts no inputs and provides no feedback when it will end. amazingly bad design. July 2021: it tells me to update and links to here. there's nothing to update. the option shows as Open, not update.

UPDATE: They did fix the login issue, and I'm able to use the app now. I am able to search for providers in my area and download forms. Great! Same problems as the other reviews. It tells me I'm offline even though I definitely have internet, and puts me in a login loop. Unfortunate.

This app is absolute garbage. Trying to use the Well connection platform through the app has been a complete waste of time. Calling BCBSMA does not help, they tell you to call Well connection which can't help either. Tried to log in to an appointment 15 min. early and kept getting an error message that the appointment had already ended. Couldn't reply to the doctor's message in the inbox because the "Live Chat" symbol was in the way. I can keep going all day, but there are character limits.

Bad experience throughout, whenever it allows you to log in. You're better off trying the site directly. And the search function, no matter where you use it, is awful. At times, you can't ever your own type, other times you can but you can't press search. Feels like everytime I use this app, there's something else not working

Worst app I've downloaded to date. First thing you see when you open it is a happy ocean scene but ~30% of the time I am very unhappily unable to get the login portal to load. Once logged in, the app repeatedly rejected my verification credentials, which I validated over the phone with customer service. I've now had a help ticket to IT out for ~1 wk with no response, and when I've tried to log in in the meantime, the app times out while trying to load my account. Pretty disappointed in BCBS.

Terrible. Can't do more than two things at any point without getting stuck on "loading". Constant freezes. Kicks me out instantly if the app restarts, which I keep having to do in order to get rid of a loading overlay that will not go away.

For some reason, registration is separate from the web site. Unfortunately, registration and connecting your web account doesn't work. "The information you entered doesn't match our records" is all you're going to run into. Then your account gets locked and you have to wait 24 hours before trying again. No doctor is on your list, so you find a doctor but there's no way to add her to your list, so what's the point? I verified my phone number several times and it still says it's not verified. Plan details only shows copays, no benefits.

Horrible app. It would not allow me to create my account. The loading icon would pop up and once it finished "loading" I would be on the same page. I tried to login just in case my account was made and the same thing happened. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no change.

does not work in any capacity. if uninstalling and reinstalling a few times gets you beyond the starting screen good luck because more things break from there. also, if you log out and try to get back in, jokes on you not going to work. your development team has quite the plethora of bug fixes ahead of them to make this app work. do not install.

Ever since the update in January it takes 3 to 4 minutes to load ( in wifi or data) and I have to put my password in evert time it won't remember me and can't find any info about setting biometrics. Worked fine before please fix

Can't get past the verification process when trying to create an account (get "invalid request -93201"). When going through the regular desktop website on chrome, I can't get past the terms of service because the "Agree and Continue" button doesn't activate when scrolling to the end of the terms of service. Guess I can't register my health insurance!
