BCP Player

Interface isn't very intuitive, and it doesn't seem very stable. I keep trying to add a teammate and it immediately crashes after enterring their details 🙄

Interface is not intuitive on mobile, and not consistent between iOS and Android, so you can't help your friends. Back-end software has crashed and failed at so many X-Wing events that it is a joke to the community at this point. TTT.io is much more stable, easy to use (as a player and organizer), and won't put your results behind a paywall.

I was having trouble recovering my password, and what it turned out to be was a lack of feedback signaling that a recovery email or any sort of process had taken place. An in app notice that an email was sent or a vibration to signal that the button was pressed would have saved much uninstalling/reinstalling and trying every option in app I could think of. +2 stars for getting to me about this. Thanks.

I will never consider paying for something, when it's free features don't work. Both the website and app have issues. Great in theory, the execution needs to work. I hope the T.O. part is worth the trouble. But then again, the system seems to think the event is in the past, and won't allow new registrations. So it's been a pain for them as well.

Went to a tournament and in the middle BCP crashed. It caused not a small amount of downtime. The tournament organizers had to switch to another software. This is not the first time this has happened either. Other players had issues even running the software to check in and submit lists. My other issue is that they hide data behind a paywall and that seems dumb. From now on I will use the free and more reliable software and hopefully never have to touch this companies stuff again.

Horrible app, terrible UI, absolute shame I have to use it. Edit- even the developers would rather push using the app on someone else instead of using it due to how horrible/buggy it is. Great recommendation, thanks BCP!

In theory it does an ok job making pairings and showing people's list and the tourney ladder and all, but crashes way too frequently to be trusted at high level or high attendence events. I would give it 3 stars bc of that, but it also traps all of its data behind a paywall which is just insulting compared to every other piece of software available on the market. I would never choose BCP for any tournament play unless this was changed.

Player Details has not worked for months now, skips the list verification page (shows for like half a second) and the page that the list is suppose to be posted on is not formatted property so you can't actually paste your list. The PDF upload does not work either. Hard to check into an event if you can't get your list loaded

constantly having to uninstall the app and then reinstall it, I'll open the app, doesn't matter where i was in the app previously, when i reopen the app later a window pops up that says "loading placings" and that'll just sit there acting like it's doing something when it's just frozen, have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it to get the damned thing working again, such a total hassle

At large events, the app never works. It's "fine" for smaller events, but with so many other alternatives out there, particularly ones that freely provide data instead of locking it behind a paywall, there really is not any good reason to use this program.

The website is bad and I thought the app was better but I'm wrong again both are no good. Continues to fail to log in, also was saying wrong password and or username which I checked about 5 times and they were correct. I'm trying to log into the app and the website and both are not working. Network error on website and failure to log in on the app. I have reset, restarted and reinstalled everything and still no change....

Used to be able to view lists for 3 days after an event. Now you can't view lists at all unless you are participant at the event. It now says 'Sorry, only players participating at this event can view lists'. The entire point of this app is to view people's lists. It's now useless.

Generally at major evente creates a longer delay than posting standings on the wall would, input has been confusing in the past with Android and Apple users told to input the score reverse to one annother, and they control the data afterwards. Ultimately, the combination of all of these factors make BCP poorer than some free options that exist.

It does it's job but barely. I'm subscribed and the app isn't easy to use, isn't organized well. Doesn't filter dates well and doesn't save events. It's pretty underwhelming overall but Im sure it will improve

This app is the absolute worst when it comes to tournament software. Every event I've gone to that uses it, it crashed and the company blames something other than their incompetence. You're better off using the Tabletop.to website than this.

Functional. But it's not possible to change date range for searches without paying a subscription (error says cant go back more than 3 days when only talping to open). Also cant limit searches to a distance radius as you can on the iphone.

worked fine but now I cant view any lists at all keeps saying "sorry, only players in this event may view" on every event. If that's the actual case and I cant view any lists at all then it's no good for me.

Since the 5/28 update I have lost all my events, I can not search or view events. Every thing just spins and spins. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and prayed to the machine spirts and still not working.

Very useful for tournaments. Recommend The monthly fee is a bit steep, and next to impossible to cancel the subscription once you are hooked. I would rather pay a one time fee.

After two years of use, still unstable and very finicky. The dev team promises constantly to fix things but just breaks more things. Passes blame to outside sources when really they didn't test it before hand. It will never be used for local events and most likely how the community is handling it, any large events either.

Unimaginably bad. Crashes constantly, slow as hell, player info often shows up incorrectly. You're better off trying to remember everything without writing it down than you are using BCP

I can't believe that cascade games paid for this app. It is so bug ridden for x wing as to be unusable. I would not recommend any store pay for this 'service' while exceptional options like tabletop.to and cryodex are available. Tome is even better then this app.

After all the hype I heard about this app on IOS I was really happy when I could get it here on my phone but alot of tournaments don't put all the players in and I'd like to be able to see lists more than you can atm. I think this app could be a really great tool to use if TO would use it to it full

Keeps saying there is already an account out there with my name when i try to register on here even though ive never used this. No customer support function that i can see. A little laggy.

I subscribed to the app, updated the app & it hasnt worked since. Ive uninstalled it & reinstalled it twice now. Fix it or give me my damm money back. Edit. It took a little while but the issue has been fixed.
