BDO Nomura Mobile

Really lazy programming. It's just a framed browser instead of a proper native application. It cannot remember your device, so you'll enter your username, password and OTP every time. Interface is lacking in details and direction. The difficulty to use will push people to use other platforms. It works, but barely. Whatever BDO saved by hiring low quality and cheap programmers, they will have lost more than that because of how bad the app is.

Needs improvement in the user experience. the execution of buy and sell is good. but the text on the more options is a bit small. the animation on navigating the app. lags/delays a bit w/c is crutial in trading. the in-app chart is a good addition to the system. its the only trading app with charting. but the charting tool needs improvement. its so basic to not useful at all. the feature of dark and light setting can be a plus if implemented in the app. Good job guys. keep up the good work

Lags, crashes, unexpected session expired notifications. Can't trade properly because of lag, can't see the charts, and the general usability isn't there. I only installed this because it is like a freebie when you have a BDO account, and my money is tied to it. Overall, NOT RECOMMENDED unless fixed.

I think this app has long ways to go with its charting tools. The rest is a passing grade. The competitors apps are a lot better. I hope bdo securities will improve it's app for setting stop losses and tp hit notifications. Margin trading would also be nice.

Previously rated as 1 star due to a misunderstanding. You have to apply first before you can access the app. Having a BDO banking acct does not automatically enroll you. Now, it's working just fine. Suggest to put a validation/pop up message for unenrolled accounts and not just keep on redirecting them to log in screen.

It's very convenient to use specially if you're not always using a pc/laptop for trading. However, it prompts you to log out after a few minutes of not using it and then asks you to login and enter the OTP again and again. I just hope you can add a finger print login option to make it easier to login and also a PIN for extra security.

it was vey bad.. they are requiring otp but i never received any sms... my atocks went down and i was not able to sell it because of this otp sms.. it would be better if you have fingerprint log in so that it will be convenient for us and otp is required only if password reset is needed.. i loss too much money because of this and always on maintenance even on trading hours..

Very not user friendly. There are rescrictions that doesnt explain why. Error messages are sometimes inacccurate. And recently I cannot log in again for no apparant reason. The app doesnt explain it all. Thanks Bdo.

Can't even go beyond the login page. I've logged in and key-ed in the OTP twice and it still keeps sending me back to the login page. Like what? So how am I supposed to trade on the go if I can't even log in? Not trying to be mean, but you should have polished the app version before releasing it to the public and getting their hopes up.

I would have rate it as no star if there is an option of no star at all. Poor app and the broker itself. This used to be simple and mobile-friendly, but after the so called "upgrade trading platform" from 2yrs ago, it all became rubbish. Even this app, you can't really log during trading hours. This is so frustrating!

Great that this app is now on the app store so i can now start trading, which i have always wanted to do But if there's one thing I'd like to have is for the integration of fingerprint scanning just like in bdo mobile app, it's easier, faster and efficient without the hassle of requesting for OTP.

Tried this as desktop version is a waste. Timeout session, disconnections, password got expired, sluggish app, no display. Only works outside trading hours if you have patience to wait. Seems to be backend server issue, probably SSL overload. Best solution, stay away from Nomura platform or you may lose a lot of opportunities. Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

1. wish there's a feature which allows user to set the buy/sell price condition which triggers the buy/sell only when the condition is met. 2. Disclosed Quantity should auto populate with Quantity value (by default), so that users don't need to key-in the value to it, but still remains editable if user opt to change it. 3. wish there's buying power history which shows the transactions that affected the buying power. 4. wish there's option to buy/sell odd lot.

I have wasted half of my day just to login on this app. I thought it will be easier on this compared to the web, but no. I can login on the web but cant trade, server always not responding. While on this app, I cant even login. My account was locked because of incorrect OTPs, and after resetting my password, I still cant login.

very poor app.this app do not deserve a 1 rating. but a negative rating instead. records not updated. data on home and portfolio section not available on screen. not surprised if majority of my colleagues prefer COL or BPI Securities. maybe its time to transfer a broker perhaps.

Can't log in for important trades. You can lose a lot of money because of their poor platform. I suggest they stop advertising if they won't invest in IT's that can improve their services. Do not invest using this app, it is very disappointing.

Please fix your app. Lots of crashes. There are times when the OTP was already entered but you still can't log in. The transactions that we are trying to do are critical in terms of time. So these issues are not helping at all.

Every transaction is a failure. Funding my account was easy of course. But when buying stocks, it takes forever. Definitely not for traders. Their UI and UX seems not very user friendly. Most especially my wthdrawal transactions is always a hassle.

This app is not helpful, esp during trading hours. Numbers are not reflecting, takes time to load the data (I'm sure it is not about my internet connection), worst is after you logged in, it will show that "server unavailable". Tried on the web using my phone, not helpful too - not mobile friendly at all. To BDO Nomura app developers, hope you take our reviews SERIOUSLY and take an action IMMEDIATELY. Thank you.

I really wanted before for BDO Nomura to make an online app as I cannot always access my account on computer and accessing the website by mobile phone (even in broswer's desktop mode) was a headache. i just installed the software after 2 days from launching. the app is so convenient. As expected with new apps, it is not perfect and for sure it is still developing. Salute to the people behind. surely they will continue to develop the app. proud to be one of the first users.

I've been waiting for this! It's always hard to trade when Im not using my PC. Now, I'm always on the go when it comes to trading.😊 This is a good app. I don't encounter login problems. It logs me out after a few minutes of inactivity which is understandable because it is for security purposes. Good job guys!😊

I would have given 5 stars but because of the recent update i decided not to. Because I keep installing Bdo securities and log in everything is fine. But if I log out and do nothing the app goes back to "Bdo Nomura" always then I cant log in anymore. So I have to install it again. Pls fix it. I really like the app.

Slow and crashes constantly during trading hours. Error message "System cannot accept order entry" is not really helpful. You could at least say why the system cannot accept the order entry. Come on.

App is down most times during trading hours. Too bad I can't use it when I need to. Helpful for stock research and insights though. I might change rating when the constant network downtime is resolved.

It's been a week since I sold my shares but my buying power summary and cash statement is still 0.00 pesos. I couldn't withdraw because there's no amount in the first place. Customer service is the worst, too. I regret ever putting my money in this trash broker. I don't recommend. There are much better online brokers out there. Avoid this if you want to have better and more convenient user interface and user experience.

Have your app supported on Landscape mode, It's quite hard to see full information when in Portrait Mode, the adjustment handler does not 'adjust' really. Thanks

Update:. Noticed improvements in this app. It is now easier to use. 👍 Not user-friendly. Auto-logs out even while I'm using Historical Chart. It is really difficult to use. I thought having this app will make my trading easier but it's not. Please enhance this application.

Negative 5 stars! Ridiculous app! for a big company that we trust our money with. Your investing app is a joke. Tried to log in a few times still it says I have to log in?? 😂 What a joke!! Money is a serious business yet you're not taking it seriously. DISAPPOINTED. Now I will have to open an account to a different bank so I could maximize the benefits of same investing app and bank.. As it's CONVENIENT. Yours is useless, a waste of space. PLEASE IMPROVE your app/service.
