Beach Buggy Racing 2

Played this when it first came out and loved it, and have recently started playing again. However, the various changes made have turned it from a nice, competitive racing game into a quest just to find the right power up at the right time. The fact that racers can steal your power ups also removes the element of strategy that used to be there. It is a nicely presented games but successive updates appear to have taken it backwards not forwards.

I would give 5 stars, but it's missing a multiplayer option. Please add quick play and playing with friends option, chat in lobby and friend requests (like fun run 3 for example) and it will easily be the best game in the play store. When you do so, I'm changing my review to 5 stars. Also, I don't like the system where you can buy game money with real money. It's pay to win. If I had a sick amounts of money, I'd be the best player out there. Please change it.

I must say I've been enjoying the recent events, really intriguing. I noticed something about the car stats, they don't seem to be what they are. For instance, Lambini GT which has same exact stats as twister moves like the slowest car in the game while twister is one of the fastest car in the game. What we see in the stats and the speed the cars have don't seem to match up which is really misleading. Maybe that's the intent but I don't think it's cool cos cars are bought based on the stats.

This game is awesome, very good graphics and gameplay. Just one thing is annoying me, every time you're in first place, the game makes everything to make you loose that place. You can only be lucky enough to have a shield, but otherwise, tons of poweups will hit you. This doesn't happen when there is an CPU car in the lead.

I am now Changing to four stars to two stars. The reason why I say this is because 1. The ads are ridiculous! They never hard ads when the game came out and it stayed that way, but then out of nowhere ads appear. This messes up my gameplay and makes me lag so bad that I have to exit out of the game. 2) Some changes to the game are poor. Like some power-ups used to be blocked by sheild and avoided, and there are bots that have higher level power-ups. It's unfair and makes me quit a lot. Fix now!

Really fun game, smooth controls, great looks. My only problem comes within the gameplay itself. You're going to be affected by powerups WAY more than the computer players. Like you'll use a power up with a speed boost and not pass someone just going at their regular pace. Everytime you build a huge lead it all depends if you get a shield or something, because you're about to have a huge wave of powerups destroying you , and if it's a computer on that position, they've got it locked up.

So far, it's been smooth sailing for me. I enjoyed the first game and I've fallen in love with this 2nd version as well. Edit: 28/12/21 I just updated and I really hate the updated powerup behaviours. It prevents you from picking up the next power up and that's super annoying. Edit #2 21/01/22 I was really hoping that the new update would revert the power up behaviours to their previous settings, but somehow, it got even worse. Now, some don't even last as long. This is so uncool.

Nice game. I did achieve almost everything in the first version of the game and here the only reason for the 3 stars is that 90% of the time I have to race 2-3 level higher racers than me. They have better cars and power ups. This is just not fair and makes me loose too often even though I am a very good driver in this game. I should race my equal levels most of the time.

Thanks to the fact that we can see stats now, I can now see I don't even podium half the time. Turn down the damn difficulty. And don't bother spending any money on the game, you'll still get blown up by 4 different power ups at once, it's not like being any more powerful or practicing helps you in this game. The update won't let you play any of the new tournaments that are below you. Graphics and power up choices are the only thing better than V.1.

The pop-up that says "Something went wrong. Check that google play Is enabled on your device and that you're using an up-to-date version before opening the app" always shows on my device after the update and it's really annoying. I don't know if it is a problem with my device or the app itself since it never shows before.

I loved the first BB basically beat the game without spending a dime, that's what I loved about that game I actually wanted to thank the makers and compliment them on a great game. I thought it was awesome they made a fun game with very few ads that you could play and win without money. Then I download bb2 and everything has gone out the window and replaced with a pay to play version where cars cost you 10 bucks lol no thnx

I really don't like how the power ups charge and it is very hard to level up. I'm on level 11 and I have to get 70,000 XP in order to level up??! Like are you kidding me?! There is also barely any change to get a new car or character and they come after a long time when you try to level up. FIX THIS PLEASE! 😭

Good improvement from BBR... why is it not out for PS4. UPDATE - now on the ps4, excellent features including firing backwards, money well spent, thank you. Would it be possible on the PS4 version when playing multi-player to add a button to select a random driver and also a random car? With BBR you can just hold the button/stick and it would scroll through but you cant do that with BBR2 grid format

I really liked the first version. I feel like this version is rigged. No matter how much you try, if you won't win, then you won't. And the coins and points you earn are too little to even get to the next level. I think they need to review everything. Other than that the graphics are good and there are some cool power ups too. Hence the 3stars

They just Made the game too much Hard. The most bizarre thing is the championship mode. You'll start from the 6th position always and the difficulty is too much to endure for a player. The powerups given in the championship mode is useless. While the opponent will use heavy powerups on you. In stead of making the game better, they just destroyed it. Part 1 was far better than this garbage!

I played your Beach Buggy.. Beach buggy racing both games many times. So when I played this beach buggy 2 game, I m very disappointed. Opponents cars very slow, graphics quality low, cars very small according to other houses and things, controlling goes down comparison to both oreveius games, there is no competition to other opponent cars, bcz they very slow. So i uninstalled after play 2 matches.

Terrible , they took everything that made the original game great and they removed them , the ai is overpowered, there's no story mode or league they just constantly give you 2 races and you have to choose one and race , and most importantly YOU CAN'T PLAY OFFLINE so it's not one of those games you can just pick up to pass the time when you're away from home

Gameplay only gives easy upgrades for power ups, rest everything is more of pay to win. The challenge driver cars are so fast that you can't even catch them. Then there's no option to upgrade the car top speed handling or anything. All you can change is tyres and paint, and have some good luck with collecting gems to get one mod for the car. And then there comes the pennies they give you as reward.

They make it very difficult for you to be in top 4 out of 6 once you level up and the only way to get a new car is either win races which is almost impossible or to pay them. So basically they make you enjoy the game in beginning and later on its just a money trap.
