Beacon Simulator
This app transforms your Android device into a BLE beacon advertiser and transmitter. You can create your own collection of beacon configurations and use them anytime, anywhere, to emulate a physical beacon.
Its purpose is essentially to help developers working on beacon software with more flexibility than with some real beacons.
Current features:
- Broadcast and advertise iBeacon, AltBeacon, Eddystone
- Eddystone support for: URL, UID, unencrypted TLM (telemetry), EID (Ephemeral ID)
- Create, edit, manage and save your beacon configurations
- Background broadcast
- Scan of nearby beacons, copy of their configuration
- Check tool to know how many broadcast is possible on your phone
- In English and French
Android limitations:
- the MAC address is automatically managed by Android, and will change for each new EID rotation
- not possible to broadcast several different frames with a same MAC address
- broadcast capability depends on your phone, you can use the check tool to know what is possible for you
Other limitations:
- TLM data are static in time
- Scan is not a main feature of the app for now, just an helper
Permissions are for:
- bluetooth: scan, broadcast using Bluetooth
- location: unfortunately, required by Android to perform a Bluetooth scan
- internet: for log collection in case of crashes and statistics about usage

While it works great, for general purposes, and the power level works great, the BLE MAC changes and there is no control of this info. Looking through the reviews, I do like how responsive the developer is and he even said the code is available to those who know how to change things. Sadly this is not in my skill set :)
Seems to be a great app! unfortunately I'm not able to detect the ibeacon I've just setup. In addition to that, when I try to launch the "Check maximal breadcast" test I receive this error message "an error occurred while doing the analyis". I can I solve? My phone is an Android 7.0, kernel version 3.18.35 Thank you very much for your support
This is great, but beacons marked as resilient no longer return at phone restart or when turning Bluetooth back on. Not sure when this stopped working. I often find that the app has stopped for no explainable reason and requires opening the app again to restart broadcasts.
The scanner works alright but the simulator does not. The packets sent by the simulator can only be picked up by the same app. Tried multiple other apps and a hardware detector I built myself and nothing picks up the packets from this app..
Would be great if it made and redundantly saved a log copy to cloud storage. Also, a means of researching the information provided by the app would be phenomenal.
This app was absolutely the best when I first started using it but now it seems to have stop working as in it appears funtional but doesn't actually broadcast so i don't get any traffic at all to what i am promoting. Please fix or let me know what I can do.
No option to set the MAC address. Uses random MAC. Otherwise, does the job.
Great App to use while development an embedded BLE solution. The App has small bug .. when setting an ibeacon simulator with UUID 00 11 22 33 44 ..etc The real broadcasted ibeacon has this UUID 00 01 12 33 (additional zero)
I Would Like To Take This Time To Say! That The Beacon Simulator App work As It Is intended to Operate, and To Manipulate As An Object Of ill-intentions Directed for Defamation. Besides of of that this Application Programming Interfaces APK work Good. Thanks To The Developer.

Hi developer I need a help regarding beacon transmitting notification to other smartphone using your app but It is not displaying notifications on other mobile please help me out it's urgent for my final year project.....
Good app but the resilient option doesn't work (beacon is not activated when bluetooth is enable)
Grea App! I use it to simulate Eddystone-EID beacons and works like a charm. The only app that I found that can simulate Eddystone-EID and that just works.
Didn't work. E-mailed the developer for help & he said to look for tutorials on the internet. If he has time to write an app, you'd think he'd have time to include a tutorial in the app.
Excellent app to play around with BLE , im using it as a human presense detector along with home assistant, would be nice if it let me change mac ID
ibeacons don't work, the first three bytes not sent correct, or there is a issue Android side.
This is the best! Just wished that the scan had some ways to filter.

My device supports ble 4.2 but its saying that your device doesn't supports ble even i checked with ble checker app and it congratulated me.
Great app...doesnt simulate every notification but1 of the very few i found that works
Nice app, but missed first three bytes 0x02 0x01 0x06 for eddystone beacons. Please upgrade.

Nice app. Is there an iOS app that will detect the virtual beacons created by the Android app? Esp. iBeacon and EddystoneUID beacons?
This is a great application, it does exactly what it says, nothing more but nothing less. Very intuitive interface, quick response, works on all latest hardware and Android OS's that have come out since the last update in 2017. (It's 2019 now). I would love to have an actual use case for this application on a un-rooted Android phone. Or iPhone. Great job though, really great at finding beacons, pulling info, wish i could copy and paste it, and very good at creating beacons, but needs a wizard
