The Beagle app is easy and intuitive:
• Attach the small Beagle tracking device to an important item like your keys.
• Pair the Beagle device to your smartphone. Your phone and your keys are now linked.
• Use FIND Mode to trigger an auditory alert to help you locate your misplaced keys.
• Use MAP Mode to map the last location the Beagle app was connected to your keys.
• Use TETHER Mode to sound an alert before you leave your keys behind. Prevent the lose of your personal items.
• Use SEARCH PARTY to take advantage of the growing community of Beagle users. Report a Beagle lost and receive a location notification when another Beagle user comes into range of your lost Beagle.

Got it free from Amex. Love it. I often loose my keys at home. Problem solved. The phone app is set in "Tether mode" by default after the installation. In this mode the phone and beagle will make noises if they get far apart from each other. I prefer the other mode, "Find mode". In that mode all devices are quiet until I press "Find" in the phone app.
This has a really poor user interface, needs to run all the time, and barely works on my Motorola Turbo 2. Attempting to find only results in "Setup is currently in Progress" . This error yields no results on their support site. Uninstalled. Off to find another bluetooth tracking app.
I like the idea but the location on map updates only randomly and therefore not reliably. Maybe it is broken or I am not doing this right? Update: fine tracker. My phone only supports 2 simultaneous bt connections, therefore the tracker won't update location if both bt connections are occupied otherwise. Not a Beagle limitation.
Can't turn this off! It just sits and suck resources when I don't want to use it. The alarm sound of the unit isn't loud enough to hear. Lacks decent instructions. Nice idea, poor implementation.
App prompts me to register. I try to register, but the screen just refreshes and never lets me through. No error messages or anything. When I hit the help button, it brings me to a webpage that fails to load. Completely nonfunctional
I don't know if it is the app or the device that is the issue. After SEVERAL attempts at clearing cache, uninstall and reinstall, force stop and started all over AGAIN, still will not pair. cannot even find device in search. Battery might be dead?? Still makes it useless to me
Got a new phone and it doesn't connect. Can't connect through Bluetooth or the app. Unable to login, unable to register a new account, and unable to enter my email for forgot password. TERRIBLE APP!!!!!!!!
Won't stay connected to my phone. Even with the app running in the background. Takes multiple attempts to get it to connect. Very disappointing.
It worked fine on my previous phone. Got a new phone and the app can't find the tile. Can't tell if the issue is with the tile or the app.
On Android 9 I cannot get the app to let me register. Tried cache clear, uninstall, reinstall twice. It just does not work.
my Samsung Note 9 was insble to find the beagle. i used the program that provided steo by steo instalation instructions and i was then able to successfully connect the Beagle 2.0 to my Samsung Note 9 which was then able to sucessfully & accurately locate my key ring with the Beagle attached
the Customer service alone is worth a 5 star rating! normally a monday morning phone call waking me up from a 'Tyler' would tick me off but when its a company calling me back from a voicemail I left sunday Asking for help finding my beagle infused wallet then; its a surprising and happy to get it experience. one that doesnt normally happen with most companies. congenial, prompt and ready to help IF theres a problem is sometimg ur not getting with other devices
So far I love it. I wish that I could leave notifications on but block that little dog showing it's running in the background all the time though. OFI.
I'm so glad I didn't spend money on this, Amex sent it to me for free. going into a trashcan. can't turn it off once paired. ridiculous.
It simply works to pair. Unfortunately i can't find the beagle at all afterwards. Map crashes too.
It never generates alerts in tether mode... the only mode I imagine most people would ever use.
Is this a joke? I had to uninstall the app and throw away the tile. It wouldn't stop beeping. How can I trust an app this poorly designed with my location data?
Mine works well. Only thing is that it's always running in my phone even though bt is turned off or app is closed
the idea is good. I just wish it could be louder when finding it and the app could have less bugs
This finder works well & looks good. I like that it is not too bulky on my keychain.
Ironically, update said 'Map performance enhanced' but always crash immediately =))

I have really busy mornings with 3 kids. I put my phone down in one place and I swear it moves on its own. Beagle has a loud alarm that helps me locate it. Would buy product again.

Doesn't work very well for me. If the app isn't actually up, it doesn't detect loosing communication with the fob in tether mode, even though the app is running in the background. I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy S7. Follow up; I gave fob to a friend with an iPhone and it seems to work for them.
