**Update: The new update has fixed the issue and I'm able to open and use the app as designed. Thank you for the quick response and fix! I would definitely recommend this app moving forward. After the update, the app continuously crashes whenever I try to open it on my Google Pixel 2XL. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times without resolution. At this point I would not recommend this app (or subsequently this opener) to anyone with a Google phone.
Had no issue installing system. The swipe function to open and close the door is hit and miss. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't without restarting the APP a couple times first. Get the swipe function to work reliably and it would be a good system. Maybe just change the swipe to a simple open or close button?
We've had this product for a couple years now and from our experience this is a subpar product. There has been some small issues that have been corrected. We just upgraded to a mesh wifi6 network and the controller no longer connects.
Controller does not connect to WiFi. Useless for now... Update: There is a major issue with Android app (update didn't help). Used my wife's iPhone for controller installation. Worked without any issues. The app and controller work very well now!
It won't connect to my wifi, which means it can't finish the setup process. Totally useless and it's not like I can return a garage door opener I already installed.
The app is terrible, at least the setup is. I can't get it to locate any WiFi to connect to regardless how close I am to my router.
I just now uninstalled and reinstalled this beam home app. But I cannot use it still. I already have a beam home login registered to my email address. Therefore I CANNOT use the app since there is NO WAY to use an existing login email account. (I can login, but then there is NO option to add a controller) Customer support was ESL hopeless. Developer... Please advise action required!
Subpar app. Had to use an iPhone to hook up to wifi cause it didn't like my galaxy. Now the swipe feature to open and close the garage works only 5% of the time. The Alexa feature is spotty too. You need to make a android friendly app not just one that works on Apple. The world doesn't revolve around apple
The absolute worst! No customer service help, will not sync and to return have to completely uninstall everything. Wish I would have read the reviews about the app before buying.
The app would not show the button to pair to the wifi after putting in the password. Returning the kit. Not recommended.
Junk. Everytime I invoke it, it greets me and wastes time then makes me give commands again... now their useless server is down and can't use alexa skill... why the FU-- do we need your server to proxy this skill... you will obviously be out of business soon! Getting ready to box up and rurn to Amazon!
It opens fine, but the "door is open" alerts come hours later. Worst of all, the advertised Google Assistant support is missing
The app quite simply does not work. It is impossible to get through the set up procedure, just as others have described. What a waste of time!
Great app for controlling my garage, I have adh guardian model 629 garage door, smart controller installation was a breeze and works great with this app.
Same as review below. Paid for it tried many different processes cannot connect to WiFi. Waste of Time and Money
Took 15 minutes to setup. Works great. Wish there was google or smart things support though!
Does not have a timezone for Arizona. When I select PHX it defaults to Denver which has daylight savings while Arizona does not. So the time is wrong.
Great app and it works just as well as its features stated.

Stopped working, won't even load. Uninstalled, restarted, re-installed, still nothing. Beam support number is "Your call cannot be completed." According to Verizon on three different phones. Got a notification from Google that the developer responded to my review. There was an update just released that did resolve my problem. Credit to the developer for a quick response. Upgraded to 4 stars.
