Beanstack Tracker

I like this app and the challenges. I struggle to remember to log but am trying again this year. I love being able to have all my kids' info as well. My tween wants to log on her tablet but the app version isn't compatible with tablets. ?? She is using from a browser on her tablet so she has access but the friend feature is only on the app so we can't share scores that way. We will make it work.

I cannot use this app because I cannot create a reader profile because it keeps telling me to "please, select an answer" when I am choosing an ethnicity. I get this error massage no matter which answer I choose. Please fix this issue so I can sign my children up for their summer reading program. (Not sure why we even need to choose an ethnicity, but that's a whole different topic)

I like that I can access the contests and such but there's a lack of flow in the ability to input books especially books that they may not have in their data banks or for the books that have similar titles to others. additionally it lacks the ability to connect to the ebook reading progress that I really appreciate about Goodreads and Kindle. if Beanstack wants to really have great success it needs to partner with other programs like Libby and Overdrive.

Sucks!!! What is the point of this app if you can't log every single book? In the read squared app, even if a book doesn't come up automatically in the search you can add the book. In this app I see no option to add a book other than putting no title what good is logging as "no title"?! Entire point is to be able to track books yet you can't just enter the name of a book that exists!

Layout is a bit frustrating. Not user-friendly. It isn't intuitive and most things have to be manually entered. (Ie: reading logs - just because you mark something as read doesn't make the pages read entered into the stats.

I want SOOO badly to love this app. My local library does not use Beanstack so I am extremely limited in what I can do. I can add a reader but cannot delete the same reader?! I don't have authorization to create lists so I have to use another app for that. I have emailed their customer service about these issues and gotten no response. I'm not sure I'll continue my subscription considering how limited the app is despite paying monthly to use it. It's a great concept but WAY too many flaws.

This app was frustrating to use. For some reason I couldn't find the challenge my library was offering, my whole reason for getting the app. I accidentally joined the only challenge there but couldn't figure out how to delete it from my profile. Ugh! If I logged out, I had to start from scratch and search for the site before I could log back in again. Why keep an app on my phone if I need to enter all of the data each and every time after I log out? Not interested in this user-unfriendly app.

Trying to find an app to track reading with my kids. If you're conservative this is not a safe kid's app. And you have to email to delete your account there is no easy delete your account option.

I have used the original Beanstack app for a couple of years and really enjoyed using it. However, this new version makes it impossible to complete future summer reading challenges because I can only log 10 books then have to pay to log more. Furthermore, when this new version replaced the original, I lost all the books I previously logged as well as all the badges I earned.

I really like this book to add in books that I read with my child for her '1k books before kindergarten' challenge. The barcode scanner is very convenient. My only gripe is that I wish it were a bit quicker to add in books, like making the quick add button on as a widget or something like that. Other than that, a solid app for what I need it to do

Needs some work to increase usability for people using multiple libraries with Beanstack programs, i.e. should not have to enter a read book ..the same title...for each library ...answer if there is a way to.do that now Also, in recommend an interface with Cloudlibrary, HoopLa, Libby, Overdrive and Kindle...so that books rmk competed automatically tally. Hey! If banks can do.it with CC...book coordination is possible

I start using this app because of my library. But I have so many issues with this app. When I add a new reader it says all is done and then the reader is not there. I had to enter my library cardnumber to participate in challenges, but there was no option to enter the cardnumber to existing readers. So I had to go to the website to delete the reader and recreate the reader with the number. And the app is crashing here and then.

Have tried downloading it a handful of times and it continues to crash and say there's a bug that needs fixed. Used to love this app in the past!

I love it, but my only problem is I have to log my reading twice to apply it to a challenge if I just use the log button from the start.

Watch out, this app is addictive however it's only as good as the library you are connected to. If your library creates lots of fun Challenges then you will want to use it all the time. If not, hopefully the streaks and odd Achievements will keep you going.

We've been using this app since last summer and have really liked it. It's nice to be able to see how many minutes, pages, and what books we've read. Edited: the issues I was having have been solved!

I used to love this app, but it has completely stopped working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it quite a few times and it just never opens

I enjoy this app. I just wish there were more badges throughout the year you can earn and not just the summer challenges. I love earning and working my way through the badges. A nice incentive to read more!

Way to difficult to track books for multiple children. Also difficult to add books which don't have a barcode. Not happy that our library is using this app for summer reading.

I really like the interface and how easy it is to use. The colorful badges feel like a nice reward and I love that my public library posts their challenges so I can save paper. The only thing I want (tell me if I'm missing something!) is to be able to re-arrange the order of the family members on the account and not just have it alphabetical. Small gripe, but it always pulls up my step son first instead of me and I have to change it every time I open the app. Besides that I have no complaints!

My kids and I are using it for our library summer reading program and we're going to continue using it to help us to continue reading daily! I'm trying to add another library to my family account and it keeps popping up error, try again later. Please fix it so we can add it

It's a little confusing to navigate and log time/books/pages.

We love using the Beanstack app to track our reading and activities! We also use the app to see what's going on at the library!!♥️♥️♥️

it's fun to keep track of my reading but it's not always easy to find the right place in the app.

Great for helping you meet reading resolutions. This app works well.

Neat app and good scanning. Would be nice to have one click to scan in a new book and add to reading list rather than using multiple clicks to do so.

This is a great app but I would lile to see a option for multiple complete reads when your logging a read. I have a 2 1/2 year old that loves reading a book multiple times in one sitting.

I love the concept but the execution leaves much to be desired. While we're reading we have to keep the phone on and the task running or the app will reset and lose our session. Then, little about it is intuitive. It's difficult to find the basics like account information and badges. Lastly, the library itself has a hard time finding the members and logging the brag tags in their system. I sincerely hope the app is improved upon because, again, the concept is great.
