Beat Cop

This charming demo is clearly a work of passion. It captures the spirit of old TV cop shows perfectly, from the art design to the dialogue that makes you roll your eyes, but with a smile. Its free beginning chapters was just enough to get me invested in the game and its plot, I will definitely be getting it - on the PC instead, however. On a phone, it's a little hard to pinpoint control with how much detail there is; e.g. trying to double tap to run to another place but continuously clicking on cars instead. It can get a little annoying on timed missions. I do love the gameplay despite this and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys games that make you juggle multiple tasks while chasing a plot.

Game is great! It kept me hooked through the demo and then I did buy it as I wanted more. I haven't completed it yet and am still working at it. Reason for the 4 stars is in certain situations of the game you find yourself stuck such as accepting a job through someone on the streets and then trying to complete it, but then you seem to fail anyway. Also when trying to meet ticket quotas; it's not hard, but when the radio goes off them people end up getting away when you try to ticket them.

Cannot load on Nvidia Shield TV (even though it's got an Android TV banner icon), as it gets to dark blue/grey screen and hangs there (as other reviews have pointed out). Controls are imprecise (tapping on doors to places I needed to go would not work, resulting in tasks not being completed), although hardware mouse compatibility is present. Interesting game, but more work needs to be done.

I was really enjoying this game and played it for literally hours on end yesterday, it reminds me of old school Police Quest games with a harder darker edge mixed with Papers Please. Then today i go to play, and it wont get past the loading screen "synchronising saves". edit: I decided to try an uninstall and reinstall in the hopes it might fix any corrupt files but it has made no difference. Without this fault i would have given 5 stars It was perfect yesterday!! I think the update broke it.

It's a good game but it glitches so much that it ruins the fun. There have been multiples times when I arrest someone and the cop car either takes a long time to show up or it doesn't at all! There have also been instances where vandalism or robbery isn't reported until AFTER they've gotten away and I've already lost points with the police. Most recently, the search car minigame will stay on screen after I've restarted the game at a different time, causing me to have to restart the entire day!

Im having alot of fun with it. I havent had any problems. The controls work fine, the graphics are good, the font is fine when reading conversations. It does get annoying having to tap multiple times to do something but i can deal with it. Its worth purchasing the full game, im having alot of fun with it. Theres alot of play time so its worth the money id your considering buying the full game.

Great game, love these types of games where you get to make decisions and live a characters life. The downside is the "tutorial" portion lasts a while, and it's hard to get very far in the game before you die or get kicked off the squad. Last update was 2019 so seems like the game is staying as is. I paid 5$ for the full version but I wish I didn't. Otherwise I'd give it a try!

Wonderful game. Since I'm from "the newer generation", I don't really have a nostalgic connection to point-and-click games, but from the moment I ran this game, I instantly decided that i liked it. the controls work well for a mobile game, the art style is absolutely amazing and the story and gameplay intriguing, as well as having some cliches obviously on purpose. The game atmosphere is great, and the dialogue is well written, so none of characters feel like empty things just there to be there.

Great game and well worth the paid content. Good replayability. An excellent story, and lots of smaller side story lines to discover and pursue. I don't like how long it can take for a squar car to arrive after you arrest someone. Also please consider being able to queue the calls for towing vehicles instead of waiting for the tow truck to leave.

It's alright. The 8 bit style graphics are cool and the game play is somewhat entertaining but there is way too much pointless dialogue I think. The characters drone on forever about pointless stuff, it's like listening to my 7 year old tell me a story. Other than that the games ok for killing time. I give it 3 stars.

A fun game with an interesting and engaging story. Tapping can be a bit hard on small screens, otherwise the game is responsive and fluid. I really love the art style and atmosphere of the game. I just wish there is an arcade mode where you can just walk the streets, and give out tickets and catch criminals.

I found this game very really fun and amusing I would highly recommend it the story is interesting with some hilarious moments with its old style grouchy cop style humour and the interactions with the other characters of the world and story. The gameplay has its challenging moments especially with money management but the controls are easy to learn and simple to handle the only thing I want from this game is either more content or a sequel. I would love to see something like an endless mode.

One of the best games I have ever played on mobile. Cool story, great retro-style graphics, and I especially love all the 80s references. This game is best for older people like myself who grew up in the 80s.Younger, "cancel culture", overly-sensitive players will probably have a problem with the language, particularly the racial slurs.Personally, I love the writing and the language really reflects life on the street. Well worth the price for the full game. Downside: tap controls are a bit wonky

I don't really review,this was a great game and has so much potential,but there was a bug.my screen was black.i thought it was just slow but it keep doing this and I couldn't play.right now I'm deleting it and downloading it back, hopefully that works.when I get the money, I'll buy the whole game.could you try to fix it if you have time.

Please fix the "synchronizing saves" freeze screen... The game doesn't proceed at all after stopping on half of the bar... Can you make the saves stored locally on the smartphone internal storage? This will be much faster, easier and appreciated. Excellent game though and I play it every day.

Honestly, I'm quite disappointed with the game. I played the free trial and was intrigued but was shocked to find out it was $5. I figured why not and I bought it. It has it's small bugs but it is much more repetitive than I thought it would be. Yes, there is a story, but essentially you do the same acts every "day". For example, writing tickets, appeasing the crew/mafia, or disobeying them. The story is interesting, but doesn't make up for the fact that I am doing the same tasks over and over.

I would consider buying it but not in its current state. When you click on a car, your character's speech bubble obscures the options. Talking to people is a pain, you have to click around them 10 times for the conversation to trigger. For a game that relies heavily on how fast you can do things before time runs out, it's a significant drawback.

Nice retro graphic but so small, not even full screen because of the watermark, surely perfect on a tablet... Just not my type, narration is so long too much tasks and I'm lazy to search characters or whatever across the city. Spice things up, add other decors (could travel to another town with subway for x or y purpose) than just the city, fully enter buildings not popup, more interactions w/ people. Think of our big fingers, add features : zoom, map to help, money gestion etc. Has Potential.

Would love to give this game 5 star. To be honest though I feel a bit robbed. The game has the potential to be a great game, however the story is far too short for what you are paying for. If the story continued afterwards (spoiler alert) such as a new block after you find the diamonds I feel this game would benifit a lot more, but just now I wish I could get a refund, as I really enjoyed the demo but the actual game itself does not take long to finish.

I am in love with it, this game is the best retro styled game i eber played for the fact i just saw it at random and pre registered out of curiosity and now i am very happy with this, it has a great story and i think it has multiple endings to it but, there are some suggestions i could suggest okay, number one a joystick controller for moving the character can be very useful but still optional just a thought though, lastly an explanation on tires can be very helpful to know the worn out ones. :)

I love this game so much. I played this game on my Nintendo switch and I usually play this game while traveling on my phone. This game has great mechanics, great story, a few bugs here and there. But other than that, the game is great and I'd recommend it to everyone out there. The lines in this game are also pretty funny, the game is also open world (but only in your neighborhood). Great game.

This game is good since I could move the character of Kelly, and other than that, the graphic is fine. However, I would suggest to improve of the game mechanic, add some additional storyline and add other maps if ever. I bought this game on the amount of 150 pesos, so expect this game to be improved. This game has extremely fun and intriguing gameplay that I easily became immersed in. This game quickly became one of my favorites available on mobile devices. Although I have so much love for the game, I can no longer play it. I previously had a Google Pixle 2 which I enjoyed this game on, now; I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and the game will not start up. I have sat for 3 HOURS waiting for it to load or startup but it just stays at a blue screen. All I ask is that this bug is fixed so I can play.

Definitely a mature experience; a darkly hilarious bit of social satire played out during a genuinely fun game. The music and sounds are 8-bit gold, and the pixel graphics are colorful and creative. The thrill of chasing down perps is great, and I became an absolute jerk-face about parking (after some nerd told IA that I took a bribe:/). The love and imagination that went into this game are apparent and appreciated. Good work, thank you.
