BEAT MP3 2.0 - Rhythm Game

Been playing this app for years. Whenever I download some music either from the Internet or even just my favourite downloaded albums, it's fun to sit back and play this quick game and feel the music better than most rhythm games on mobile. The syncing can be a little off sometimes but it isn't bad, works well on percussion and solos.

This is honestly better than I thought it would ever be. The mapping of my songs is very good, pretty precise, though it's often a little early to the actual downbeat. Michael Jackson's Beat It, for example. Every note seemed about half a second too early. It didn't bother me much, as it seemed to get more in sync the farther I went. Docking two stars for the terrible UI, and the ads, though. This app looks like it came straight out of 2011, but the last update was in 2018. This seems awfully familiar as if it came from somewhere else, can't put my finger on it though... Nobody would design an app like this in 2018, there's something going on here. The ads appear after every match and are always a video. Waste of data. This is an app that has no need to be connected to the internet. There's a banner ad at the bottom of your screen as well, making it difficult to avoid clicking it, while scrolling, even on large screens like the one on my LG V60. Nothing some good old Lucky Patcher can't fix.

it's good and all, i mean i love it. i played every vocaloid songs i have in my phone. my small problem is the ads can be a bit annoying, but aside from that, the 10 minute wait is almost worth the wait. the real big problem is, you need to stay connected to the internet. it's not much of a problem, but i wish there will be an update where you can just download the syncronized maps so you can play it again even when you're offline. i know its a big project, but please do that if you can. thanks!

This is a fun game, and I paid for the unlimited version years ago and still have it today, except lately I've been having a problem where the app seems to open twice or something...it's like having one game on top of the other, and when I try to play songs nothing happens. I hear the song and the screen empties, but nothing happens and I lose after a few seconds.

Unlimited user here.. I would like to play the app even when I don't have internet, but when so it blocks me saying network isn't provided. Would really appreciate if you guys fix it and make it launch without the internet! You can block some features like analyzing new song(does it require internet?) If we choose to go offline. Other than that love it, have been playing it for over a year, such a classic.

Its the best rhythm based game, especially from mp3's that are imported, it has extremely good synchronization from the imported file and feels like it was made for the game. As for the controls, it feels a little forgiving because you can blatantly miss and still get a perfect but its useful to be like that for someone who isnt really the best with coordination. All in all, I love this game.

I've been playing this game for about an hour now and I have the confidence to say that this is a really good concept for a game. I don't even know how the heck you calculated specific MP3s to charts, that's next level in my opinion, however, there is some bug fixes and calculations of the score that need tweaking. The design and overall graphics of the app and gameplay also need to be changed a tad bit, if that was all changed I'd give this game a solid 5 stars. Good job in making this! :)

I had a lot of fun with the game, but on higher difficulty and speed, bugs start to appear. 1, Long note misses eventhough my thumb is on the platform. 2, I had a few misses where there aren't even any note visible. 3, There were misses where the note haven't even reach the platform. For casual play on normal settings is fine, but when you try to go competitive, it gets frustrating as it's highly dependent on the mood of the bugs to screw up the combo.

I'm having a lot of fun with this game! Beat MP3 2.0 is a great rhythm based game, that allows you to play with your own music, which I quite like. There is some customization, however I think there could be much more, like disabling particles, a portrait mode and changing the colour of the nodes. Other than that, the game is quite solid, and you should give it a go!

I deleted this app & installed it to see if it would fix the issue of it stopping. Now my song list is displayed another song list is diplayed on top of it. I can scroll but it's distorted. Either way I cant play, when I select the song it will start to play but the screen is just blue. The last update or the one before really messed up this game. Due to the lack of reply from anyone who could help, Im assuming this will continue. This time when I delete this app it will be for good.

LOVED this game, it's abit like ddr. love the fact you can play your own songs and it will creat it's own steps for you, that's why I brought the unlimited version. now all of a sudden when I click on the game and it loads up it freezes and says it's stopped working 😕 I've literally been playing on it all day and it just decides to do it now. I've restarted my phone, forced closed it and uninstalled it and now I'm back to level 1 😐 so I've deleted the game completely.

Absolutely brilliant ♥️ While it could possibly use a vertical option, it's still definitely worth the money to unlock. Ads are one after each song, which isn't too bad. If the rhythm feels off, make sure to use the sync option; while the algorithm might occasionally prioritise different beats than a human, it is nonetheless really accurate overall.

The game's it self are cool reminds me of osu!mania and I like the feature where you can play your own song, but one thing bothers me. Sometimes when playing 6k or 4k with 9.9 Diff and with 4x Speed, sometimes the touch doesn't register when tapping the beat really fast and it makes me looses all of my combos. Can you guys developer fix this problem? It will definitely help me and others who experienced it as well...

I've just bought and I'm liking it. I hope the developers read this recommendation: 1. it should have more interactions like slide and cut, shake the phone, etc. 2. More themes should be available 3. It would be nice to compete somehow with friends with the same songs 4. It should display what the score for the same song has been around the world and send/receive notifications when beaten by somebody else 5. Be able to record our own taps to challenge others. Ty. Great app. Keep improving it.

No. Just no. First the graphics looks so boring then the songs are too "limited" and the ads made it worse because everytime I quit or press exit button, an ad pops up which is very annoying. I just don't know how to use this because it looks so confusing. AND BTW WHY AREN'T ANY TUTORIALS ON HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME?! SOME NEW PLAYERS NEED THEM!!

I like rhythm game and this is one of my favourite because you can use your own music, but there are some things that I don't like. the free mode basically tells you to buy the unlimited version. the theme looks so old and ugly. and one of the control, the "hold" one goes too crazy sometimes.

The game is good, especially it allow us to use our own MP3 music. However: •)The game could use a feature where it can calculate our total cumulative score from every song we have played. •)There is a bug in the gameplay, mostly on left side button whether they be 4-6 for Long and Slide Note. Sometimes, the button didn't respond to the hold and swipe. •)During gameplay, it is hard to look at incoming Notes because those Perfect/Great font in the upper center. Please repposition them somewhere.

The game itself is good, except for the lagging and the glitch. I won't complain about the coins, honestly I dont really care about the coins, but it's different story if we're talking about the lagging and etc. I don't think I'll use this apps again but for reminder, fix this apps. Your apps is good, you have many fans and user who loves to use your apps. Don't waste it. Thanks.

Fun game, played it for years have the unlimited version and like it a lot. Tho now and then messes up bad and I have to reload the app. I know I hit the notes but it still says I missed it, and ive noticed it never counts the very first note in the game. Ive also got high scores on some songs that make the leaderboards but none have shown up. Also just a small note that the leaderboard looks very much like it has been taken over by bots or cheats. Please let everyones scores count.

Shittie experience. The game was alright at first then as soon as I would start the next and get to the end of it before I could collect my reward it would freeze up then reboot the game then I would have to do it all again and it would do the same thing over and over again so I deleted the game and that's why I gave you the lowest rating possible.

I love this game, like really alot, but sometimes there are some complaints, usually during a long note, it would disappear and it counts it as a miss, making it really frustrating and irritating, and the normal note, even if i click it, it counts it as a miss, nad even sometimes, it misses by itself EVEN if i click it, its really frustrating, and one more, the usage of the coins for just one song is also quite irritating and frustating, Thank you

The game itself is fine, and is wholly enjoyable. The reason for the low rating is the ads. I'd seen the other reviews, so I knew what I'd signed up for by clicking the download button. The thing is, there are ads in the game while you play. They are all but impossible to avoid and it means that it throws you out mid game which is the most infuriating thing since unsliced bread. I don't mind watching more ads in between, just please make it playable...

currently not working for me. i start the game, it starts, then flashes black and starts again, but this means that there are two games overlayed on top of each other and i have to hit every single thing twice for it to get through both prompts. used to do it occasionally but restarting the app usually worked to fix it. now i have restarted my phone and it still doesn't work. was a super fun game when it worked. rip
