I uninstalled the app after trying 3 times to upload my video. even after 2 hours of waiting it was telling me that the video was still in process. moving from tab to tab was very slow. my phone service is perfect so I'm assuming there are some technical difficulties going on with the app. hopefully it's fixed soon.

I'm very upset! My video was never loaded for week 166!!! Its still saved in my phones gallery, and everything, yet everytine I try to click on the (microphone) AKA uploading section. It says "uploading in progress". This is completely aggravating, as I like to use the FULL weeks time to work on my entry. I even recorded/uploaded my video within 3 HOURS of the deadline/designated time. Now my entire weeks worth of work is lost because of your INCAPABLE APP! I even solo'd with my 🎸

Its good. I got 3rd place second try. Whether or not i shouldve gotten first is whatever, but on a software level this app needs work. Uploads take a year if it ever uploads. When you try to preview your potential upload it also takes a while if it succeeds at all. Commenting is broken half the time too. I use a Pixel 2. So maybe its my phone or an android thing but it needs fixing regardless.

The money is real, there are some glitches. Ive been able to MacGyver my way through making a video of decent sound quality but the votes are jyst a matter of luck. There are a lot of spammers going for gold every week,but if you've got talent then is a great way to be consistent and the cash prizes are awesome motivation. If the appstopped force closing at the end of watching a video,that'd be cool,but i never lost any material

This app is in dire need of a few upgrades and adjustments. I can not log in without updating my phone number, I can't upload a new video, and I'm not seeing anyone actually winning these things on lyrical content alone... If I don't see improvement I'll just make a better version of the app myself

Cool idea but the app is hella buggy. Verified my code and after it said unexpected errors occurred and it wouldn't even let me use the app afterward. Edit: I have updated the app. This app is just set up horribly. I was looking forward to spittin bars and perhaps winning money. Cool concept, bad execution. The ratings show it.

This is a phenomenal app. Has its bugs but the creators continue to enhance the features and patch the existing bugs. Its split into two leagues both of which you can win weekly cash prizes. I've already won the 1st place prize of $500 within my first 3 weeks of using the app!! I'm on my way to another win and now I'm classified as an all-star!! No other apps are offering a chance for real cash for a display of talent. You dont have to be a professional to compete! I highly recommend this app!!

its a cool app but the fact that you cant win the first place prize more then once is a disrespect to hip hop itself. it takes all the fun out of competition and won't push anyone to be great at all. to me its a waist of time. not to mention the my app has said my video is loading for almost a week smh its a new beat for the week and my video from last week is still uploading and there is no way to contact support unless you do it from the app store.

Just like any app it has its bugs but it is very resourceful for artists! One of the best apps that I have come in contact with that gives the artist the opportunity to showcase their talents! And it gives them a platform to test their skills against other artists! I got nothing but positive vibes off of this app! The name beat of the week is definitley more of a theme as it goes along. Good app for artist who arent professionals but still want to hustle a little. Recently ran into a microphone and storage issue but they have been emailing me and messaging me to get the issue resolved so they good to mess with and get your talent out

won't ever let me check my notifications, won't let me respond to my messages, Everytime i make a new video i have to do like 6 takes because it shuts down right in the middle of my verse! Also won't show you how many views your video gets. if they would fix these issues ... the app would be awesome.

I literally can't even make my account. I went through the Facebook thing, put in the code I was texted, then it stops working every time I open it, before it even loads in. I deleted and reinstalled, clicked the facebook thing, didnt even get to the number part, already doing it again

I contacted customer support via email, because I couldn't post videos. They were no help. The concept of the app is great other than that. Hopefully I can figure out how to post soon, or I will be deleting the app.

Dude everytime I try to make a video it backs me out and doesn't save my video. I just want a chance to show what I got for the win man, but everytime I try to go back into the mic icon it tells me I need to put in my phone number and when I do it says I can't update the number...... I'm not trying to update the number I'm trying to audition! Please fix.

Aspiring artist here. Great concept for an app. Just posted my first video and it's doing pretty well. Major bug right off rip though, I was scrolling the leaderboard, peeping the competition, and now it says I upvoted all them people? Not just the trash ones, but the super trash ones too? Hope y'all can fix this for me. PS you really got do something with the lame "vote trades". Had a video posted for 10 hours, and had that many people message, "vote for vote". Lmmfao. Great concept though.

I like the concept but you guys need to fix this app big time as far as the software because I had to record my verse like 10 times and I still couldn't get it uploaded . it kept cutting off half way through my verse and what not it was just annoying by then .

I love Beat Of The Week. Great platform for any one and any style of music.. I believe Voting need to stay in app. Where the Artist votes. Some winners don't deserve it. But they got more votes regardless. So Again I love this app.. THANK you BOTW

As I type this sitting next to the $150 check I received for winning 2nd place last week, I really can't think of 1 bad thing to say about this app. Over the last 2 1/2 years what could have been spoken on has been improved on every aspect by the wonderful developers. They respond quickly, they engage their fans, and there is no gimmick. Just one of the best opportunities i have seen for artists to make money out of nothing but theyre art.

The concept is good. But winners are the people who go to every page and beg for votes. Has nothing to do with skill, just who has enough time to go to everyone's page and ask for a "like". They'll use "I'll give you a like if you give me a like". So, winners not based on talent just marketing.

the competition has nothing to do with skillset just a bunch of people trading likes for likes. if you have alot of followers you can win some easy money. Or you can be like the rest of the winners begging for likes to get to the top. They really need to change that, just a waste of good beats and alot of unnoticed talent

First off, i enjoy the competition, and meeting of new artists. 1. Yall got bugs for days, please fix the persisting issues with this app. 2. People are using bots to gain votes on BOTW, please weed them out. 3. In referral back to #1, force close, and certain display options are a consistent issues.

App is trash and people on the app can't even rap but like a few people. Also people vote for anyone and do vote for vote to win and that's bogus. It's more of a popularity contest then an app built on finding and rewarding actual talent. Trash.

Alot of bugs. App is slow no matter the device. Im constantly having my videos not post. They need better programmers. Fire and hire some people. Theres a bit of potential here

absolute garbage app. It sounds like a great idea, but poor execution. I can't even get the app to open , and on the off chance it does open nothing works on it.
