Unfortunately, you can't use your own sounds, only those that come with your phone. And if you set a time and change your mind (or want to change it while it's running), you can't change the existing time; you must create a new event. Maybe some people need to keep sets of events, but I need only one: the one I just ran the app for. Why not let us tap the time to change it? It'd be easier and more intuitive.
Was 5 stars, still works but needs TLC from the developer, this hasn't been updated since 2013. Yes you can choose your own sounds if you pay for the app. Been using this for many years with every phone I've owned. Today after my phone updated to Android 10 I got a one time notification when I launched the app that this app my not be optimized for this Android version but it still works on Android 10. Hopefully this developer didn't abandon this app.
It used to work fine for years. But with the latest Android update, the alarm does not always play. So only one star until it is fixed. **no news from devoper still no fix for this issue, I mentioned this months ago**
No option to select a custom sound or even one of the Android's notification sounds. You are limited to ringtones only. That doesn't make any sense for a timer. I just want to be notified with a short sound, not a long stupid song.
Used to be great, but now makes a noise even though I have Silent ringtone selected. I use this app while teaching yoga classes, and so I only want a visible alarm, not an audible one. Will be looking for a new timer app unless this can be fixed asap.
used to be fantastic now it doesn't work under android pie on a note 8. app doesn't wake up when alarm is due .. you have to open it to get the alarm to go ( along with the overdue alarm counter) this is a 100% fail of the primary use case . app will be uninstalled in a few days unless fix is made .. emailed dev no response
This used to be a an excellent app. You could set it, open other apps or pages. Now it is hit and miss about ringing at the time I set it for. Seems like if the app open it works but it totally ties up my phone.
can you fix the app to work with the new Android update? I've Loved this app for years use it all the time but now it doesn't break through music programs or videos won't interrupt another app. want to give you a v but for now it has to be at 1
I really like this app and I use it frequently. However it's seldom works like I need it to work because the alarm doesn't sound unless my phone is on the page for that alarm.
was a great timer but often doesn't wake up and do notification if not still on screen. Useless as a timer when its counting into the negative with no warning.... Hope it can get fixed
This is a great app that I have been using for almost 10 years! But now that I upgraded to Android 10, it has a bunch of bugs and needs to be updated. I hope you can update it soon :)
App no longer wakes phone or makes sound when the timer hits zero. Was working perfectly before the Android Pie update. Please fix.
The free app is a very useful, intuitive timer. The programmer either uses it, or got good feedback.
Frequently asks me to purchase the full version even though I already have. Vibrating occasionally won't stop when I dismiss the alarm. I have to force the app to stop or reboot.
if only I can put less than 1star, I havent used the app in weeks and after rebooting my phone whithout openning this app msg came"app highly using battery in background"… I will leave the reat for you to decide whats going on!
(Using Nexus 5) There is no option to disable vibration once the countdown has ended, then the phone continues vibrating endlessly until you Force Stop or dismiss the app in the Recent Apps screen.
Looks nice, notification works about 50% of the time. Has lead to some burnt meals and such...
It used to be great but now only makes an audible alarm if my screen is awake. :-(
I set a timer but there is no apparent way to save it without running it once. If this is not the case, please explain.
With Pie it wouldn't wake up for alarm until I did a reinstall of the app

This is my Go-To timer. I use it every time I need a timer for cooking. The only thing that I dislike is the fact that I have to type in 00 seconds when I set an alarm. I wish there was a function to turn that off. It would have 5 stars if that was available. In order to get it to work with newest android, you have to allow show notifications, allow interruptions, and ignore do not disturb. Works every time that way. Also, if you use a battery saver, make sure it's allowed to run in the background.
