Awesome App!! This app is so useful!! I ended up enjoying it so much that I purchased the premium forever version. However, ever since I consistently encounter error and I'm unable to use the features I've paid for. It consistently cannot log into google and therefore I am stuck. I LOVE the idea behind this and I think this is awesome app.
This app is really kind of pointless. However, there are a few good perks. I really like that you can list everything in your makeup collection and describe what it's used for. You're also able to make a note on HOW to use it and label the item with a picture. That was definitely why I originally downloaded the app. Other than that...it's pointless!
So far so good, although I have some issues taking pictures of items, as while the camera opens, it won't save the picture to the item. I can only add photos by taking a picture outside of the app. Also, some of the buttons - notes/pictures/camera are obscured by the picture when it's added - though that's a small niggle. Also I'd suggest adding the ability to add several pictures to one makeup listing - like say if it's a palette of some sort.
This app offers exactly what I need. I love it! The app is easy to use. The information that it asks you to log are useful. There are few functions I wish the app has: 1. Add a way to mark whether it's full size, travel size, or sample size (and show up when I browse); 2. I wish I could customize my collection browsing screen. For example, I wish it could show how many stars I rated it, instead of having to click on each item to look.3. I wish it give more options to sort.Overall pretty good app
Great Idea with great room for improvement, It would be great if the app provides the options of choosing from a data base instead of depending o photos also if it gives me the chance to rate the product, some are excellent I want to remember to buy again and some bad I want to remember to avoid, or remember why they were bad in the first place. This will make the app a 10 Stars for me!
Just started using to catalog my extensive makeup, skin care, and nail polish collections and so far so good. I suspect the budget feature will be very helpful, as well as the ability to create your own sub-list in each category. To agree with another reviewer, using the calendar to log daily makeup/skincare to spot trends, as well as keeping emptied products available for review, would be fantastic additional functions.
Got the annual subscription to avoid limitations and because i really think this app has potential to be something great. It has its issues, many features are buggy, not working properly, too complicated to use, some are just all over the place BUT it does the job anyways. It's still in development, but it's a great way for people to organize their cosmetics. If the dev is willing to work on the app, it might just be the next big thing.
I love this app, I just bought the lifetime version. The UI is a bit inflexible though. If you add a note, you cannot erase it. Similarly, if you add a date of usage it cannot be deleted either - even the duplicate item will retain this info! So you have to re-add the item and all just to delete that bit of information. Also, a more useful measurement than grams would be ml imo.
Had some issues with crashing and not recognizing my premium status but the latest update fixed that. This is great for cataloging and organizing my massive makeup collection. My only complaint is that you can't select a second photo from the gallery, it has to be taken with the camera.
I'm really loving this app as a way to check when I need to replenish my products and to remind me when to throw away old products. However, I wish they had a way to let me view my products according to brand or type. I tend to have multiple foundations, eyeshadows, etc so it would be nice to ONLY view those products when I'm trying to design a look or figure out what I'm packing with me for a vacation. Also, I would love if they added a travel option so I can design my travel makeup bag!
Loved it. Bought the premium version and I'm enjoying using it. A suggestion is possibly letting us order the makeup list? E.g. alphabetical order, order by category, customised order etc.
Great for organization as I have a fairly large collection. It helps to make sure I don't buy too many of the same type of product so I don't end up with 50 primers. I do wish there were a few more features; such as, since there is a calendar, I wish I could input into the calender what makeup I wore for that day so I can easily see trends of my favorite products. Also once a product is finished I'd still like to see any notes I have on the product so I can go back and see how I like the product
UPDATE 1/2/2020: The developer responded quickly and helped me realize that it was my phone's font settings that was distorting the font size in the app. I updated my rating to 4 stars. If more customization options for the dates in the app are included in a future update, then it'll be a 5-star app. PREVIOUS 12/30/19: This app has been pretty helpful. I discovered I had been using several items that were expired. However, I wish there were more customization options under settings. Users should be able to choose how dates are displayed. There should also be more tabs besides Care and Makeup or users should be able to add their own, such as Nail Polish, rather than putting it under Other. Finally, I noticed that some of the text is cut off at the top when I'm entering a product's name. It's very annoying.
Wonderful app. Helps me organize and keep up with everything so I don't overbuy and so I can use everything I have to make room for more. I wish makeup companies would contribute to the database to speed up the process of getting my collection in, but otherwise the app itself is great and the developers are really responsive! Less than 2 hours to answer my issues when I stumbled into a bug! So great!
This app has some great features. I'm glad I paid for premium. I've seen the developer respond to previous feedback and have a few points for consideration. 1. Alphabetical sorting is selectively case sensitive - e.l.f. products appear at the end unless added as E.L.F.; NYX products appear before all other 'N' products unless entered as Nyx 2. Can't seem to move products from collection to wishlist (to repurchase, or if added accidentally in wrong list). Otherwise I'm enjoying using it!
Overall this is a pretty good organizer for makeup. However, I wish I could move products between tabs - I finished a bronzer today in my project pan and was able to archive it, but I wish I could move it from one tab in my collection to another without deleting my data, like moving it to an "empties" tab. When you put an item in the trash bin it deletes if from your project pan archive and I just wish it didn't do that.
I was looking for an app that does pretty much exactly what this one does, I just don't love it because you can only have 3 categories: "Care," "Makeup," & "Other." I would love the ability to expand these categories. As a cosmetics collector, I need more than just 3 categories.
I never rate any apps but I really do love this. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the price to go pro, if it wasn't as much I would definitely buy the pro version. As it does give you a lot of information you need on the products you use. The only thing that I would say that is needed to make it better is to put product sale/offer price as well as the nominal price. Also it would be great if you could put on your wishlist products the price.
Fantastic App, Amazing Developer! I send a few feature/improvement requests (along with accolades; the app is already fantastic) and I no sooner blinked than most of them were implemented. So impressed and so very glad I bought a lifetime license. This is gonna save me from having 4 of the same mascara I hated because I forgot I tried it and running out of my favorite moisturizer! ❤️❤️❤️
The app features some convenient tools like searching for products, expiration date notification, etc. (although how well those tools work is another matter). However, the app is quite buggy and prepare for a lot of annoying notification about how it stop working right when you want to sync your collection or searching for products. All in all, you'd better not waste your money buying the premium version.
The app let me input 16 items before telling me I need to pay a subscription fee to add more! This app is a freaking joke!! No one who has only 16 items would need this app! It's made with the purpose of forcing you to pay a monthly fee for basic functions. Just make it a paid app instead of deceiving consumers, it's not useable without the subscription! It's deceiving, a cashgrab and waste of my time.
I think this is the best app for makeup organizing on Android, but it needs to improve quite a bit. The app is glitchy - constantly gives an error - especially when you try to log in or create an account. Furthermore, not all brands are available to select- that's still okay, I have to just type it in. However, when you select the color, there aren't a lot of options in that color chart- maybe would be good if that could be updated. My major issue though are the glitches.
