I couldn't log into the app. I submitted my login info, the "authenticating" notification popped up, and then was brought back to the main page asking to log in to see all the flashcards. I closed out and tried to log in three or four times, didn't work, then restarted my phone after 15 min, and magically I was logged in. Content looks good at first glance and navigation seems easy. Currently running Android version 4.3 on my Galaxy S4.
I'm running this app on a Note 4 and if it's not unexpectedly crashing, then it's refusing to log in. I was able to "force stop" the app to make it log in, but if it crashes it deletes your master data so you have to keep telling it which cards you've mastered. The reason I didn't give it 1 star is because it's a very useful app and if it would stop crashing I would give it 5 stars. I don't have similar problems with other apps on my phone.
This is a great app to study for the CPA. However, it crashes whenever I haven't used it for a few hours, and then I have to login all over again. I wish this app had a "remember me" button so that I don't have to type in the credentials all over again.
Keeps forcing shutdown and losing progress with "mastered" cards. Please fix. Customer service was horrible. It was the normal delete and reinstall garbage which I have done at least 5 times. I responded to the email telling me this and received no response. Using a nexus 5.
The earlier version kept crashing but i have not had those problems with the recent version of the app. Convenient to study with on the go.
I only have one problem with the app. When I double tap to flip the flashcard it just moves to the next card instead of flipping. It's very frustrating.
Never keeps me logged in, never remembers a thing that I did. Pathetic that we paid for all of this.
Can't open the app without it crashing on Google's flagship phone.
Thought it was a good tool for review, but i found it has at least one card w/ incorrect info!! Appears it needs to be updated to current version to match the book and lectures! Plus it erases the master progress randomly.
The app is great when it works but it crashes and logs me out, deleting my mastered data every few days. This app could be a lot better.
Every time I try it tells me there's an error and to contact tech support. I've dealt with backers tech support before. Nevermind!
Keeps asking me to log in and always losing all my mastered data. PLEASE FIX!!!! I've had this installed on my iPhone and it was fine. It's the android version that's giving me problems.
I got the electronic flashcards, waited out a pointless one week account hold, only to find out that the tablet functionality is next to worthless. Because I can't stay signed in, I have to either be using the app or be connected to the internet, which defeats the idea of being able to hop on and review during any down time. Because I have to be connected, I can only use the app in all the places where I have a real computer.
I contacted Help Desk to try to resolve my mobile flashcard login issue, and there was absolutely no ownership of resolving the issue. I was transferred at leas 4 times, and got stuck on the phone over an hour. I first reached customer service (who could not help because it was a technical support that needed to help), then got Devry technical support (who could not help- because they could not look up the ticket number), then got to connect to their off campus technical support (who could not review the account either, and without my consent transferred me to customer support), and then with customer support they asked for my ticket number AGAIN....(but still could not help and told me to stop calling because Becker is extremely busy)!
I have been trying to work with their tech support for over 2 weeks now and nothing. Its a stupid login problem they should be able to resolve but haven't
Constantly shuts down and makes me resign in... annoying
I have a Samsung Galaxy s4 and an iPad on which I study for the cpa exam, and the flashcards app on my Samsung is terrible. It force quits regularly, erasing all my mastered flashcards, and it doesn't remember my login info so I have to log in every single time I want to study. That's a HUGE barrier to actually studying.
The content is great and is the only reason for any rating. I've had the same problems as a lot of other people, constantly having to log in and losing all my mastered data. The fact that they don't sync with the rest of the review program is also frustrating.
