Bed Time Fan White Noise Sound

*** UPDATE: I strongly recommend Atmosphere over this app. The ads are much less intrusive, and it doesn't stop playing in the middle of the night. It probably has a 100 sounds to choose from, and you can even upload your own. *** I've stopped using this garbage app. It took a while to figure out that the app stops when a large ad is downloaded, which of course fills up the entire screen. Trying to get rid of the ad in the middle of the night often results in accidentally clicking the link. I'm not going to pay a ridiculous $10 a year to get rid of the ads, when it's much cheaper to rid of the app. CLUE: If you have to change multiple settings on your phone to get an app to work (which by the way, doesn't work anyway), then it's not an app you want.

This is absolutely the best app for controlling different types of white noise plus soothing music for relaxing or deep sleep. I love changing the combinations from crickets to wind or rain with each of the the music sounds. And I know the combination that always makes me fall and stay asleep! I leave it on all night for the best sleep ever. Thank you for creating such a beautiful source of peacefulness!!!!

Perfect app, the low setting has the perfect pitch I was looking for. The sounds is smooth and soothing as well. I've been using this for months now, absolutely incredible.

Great when it works but it has been shutting off for no reason almost every time I use it now which actually wakes me up. :/ There's also sometimes a weird noise that is distracting and not soothing. Like a high pitched ring or something. I've already checked the settings prior to my review and they're correct. I won't put my phone in airplane mode because of there's an emergency I need to be able to receive the call.

very simple app. we love the melodies that can be paired with the fan noise and only app I've come across where the fan can be low, med or high. Thank you Devs

It works for me and my wife, it sounds like a fan. It helps to drone out the noise that could keep us awake. The steady fan sound is perfect for us to sleep comfortably.

I used the app while overseas since I always sleep with a fan on in our home bedroom. I need that sound to help me sleep. This app was just what I needed to give me the same feeling.

Not sure of the sound. It's either static, or a digital try at fan noise. Hard to sleep with this particular alarm.

Been using this app for years and now it just stops. Have spoken to devs who tell me to put phone in airplane mode, um no, if there is an emergency in my family will the devs get in contact with me 🤔.

I loved this app for the few months it worked! Now it randomly shuts off in the middle of the night and wakes me up. There is also that weird high pitch noise sometimes. Wish it worked like it use to.

Sometimes I LOVE it but sometimes there is background noise. Sometimes a high pitched whining, other times a ringing tone, sometimes almost an ocean wave. It repeats in a cycle every 15-30 seconds or so. It is impossible to ignore and impossible to sleep.

Does what it says. White noise for sleeping. No frills. You can purchase other sounds, but what's included is really all I need. No complaints here.

This is a good app to use when the power is out. Very soothing sounds to sleep, would recamond

Great app, but does anyone else hear a faint sound behind the fan while it's on? Almost like music sort of? I know it's there and it's bothering me like crazy lol please fix thank you UPDATE: okay so I havent tried the fan since I left this review, but I tried it again tonight and I literally just woke up from hearing that same sound again. I know it's there, I literally hear it no matter where I am. About to uninstall and find a different fan app so I can go back to sleep.

Does what says very well plus a few extras all free, uninterrupted play until you press stop or if you set a timer it runs out, and many different options to find the right fan sound for you and its very realistic. Plays in the background or w/ screen off(All Free). Idk what you could pay for thinking about it lol to make it any better but there probably is something. Hope everyone gets as good of sleep with this fancy app as i have when i need the soothing sound of a powerful fan in a pinch!

I believe there was only one setting as I recall, I did end up finding another app but constructive advice would be to: -keep it simple, -have the ability to schedule the app to stop playing sound at a certain time ( before an alarm in the morning) - have tones ( fan noises ) that would range from the high tone of a cheap bedroom fan, aswell as the deep droning sound you get from being on a passenger jet ( one of my favorite sounds oddly enough ) - keep the quality good or optional atleast:)

I like this handy little app! Pros: Its adds are not intrusive. Its permissions don't intrude on my privacy. It's much easier than traveling with a large noise maker like a fan. Its easy on my phone battery, and doesn't drain it overnight. Cons: Its not as loud as a large noise maker, so in noisy environments, its a little under-powered. Overall, a good app. I appreciate the developers offering it for free!

Great little app. I'm a very light sleeper, and white noise really helps. This app is simple, easy to use, and provides white noise for as long as you want it, wherever you want it. The sounds quality is better than many—mellower and more like a real fan than most (though how it sounds will vary a bit depending on the speakers).I like the timer setting, too—I set it to turn off just before my alarm sounds, and it acts as another cue to tell my brain it's time to wake up.

I've had this app for years at this point and won't risk deleting it in case I need it and can't redownload. Minimal adds, it's usually only one add every two or three times I open the app, never with sound either, and I can exit the add quickly. It's easy to use and has helped me through many nights where I couldn't have an actual fan. My only complaint is that it turns off after so long, which doesn't really bother me. (Just saw that this was fixed for some phones! This app is great!!)

(Update) The app just randomly shuts off during the night. So i have to restart cuz it wakes me up. Annoying. And now when i turn it off it still is running in the background. I have to force stop it to get it to go away. Never had this issue b4 and have been using it for years! (Original) I have been using it for years! Love it! So simple and just what my brain needs for sleep. I dont go a night without it!

Use this app regularly to help me stay asleep and to allow me to go to sleep if there is extraneous noise. The continuous noise without an obvious loop is extremely helpful, as are the fan speed settings. Would have given it 5 stars; however, it sometimes stops for no reason and the full screen ads that pop up from time to time and stop you going directly to the fan are annoying - especially when I'm trying to turn on in the middle of the night, without my glasses .... but, then, it is free.

Used to love this app! We still use it, but the fan(not the app) shuts off(as if it pauses) in the middle of the night. Even when I set it up for 8 hours, it still stops. This wakes me up, then I hit "play" to start it back up as well as continue the count down of my 8 hours. PLUS I get a notification from my phone that it runs in the background when not in use when it clearly is turned off in the settings.

The app works very well for me. I've used it different areas in the country where cell service can be sket hy and haven't had any problems. It's my go to for white noise. With most people, this app may get a 5-star rating. I would give 5 stars if watching a video wasn't necessary to unlock the other sounds. I get the reason for why this is (advertising pays), but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

I've been trying many different apps and I always come back to this one. Im military and the silence is making me anxious lol can't do it. I need white noise like that. Also, I like the new options. Only thing you could look into now that you have the different sound options, would be to combine multiple sounds on at the same time. Otherwise the app works great!

I have tried several different fan apps, & this is by far the best. It has the right pitch, and most realistic fan sound, imo. I use it to block out loud sounds while I sleep. I can't handle any kind of noise when trying to sleep, except a loud fan in my ear. This works great in muffling out what may be going on around me. It can be used year round without changing the temperature of the room.

Love this app. Been using for a long time. But since the last few updates, it runs in the background all the time, I'll force stop and itll start up again a few minutes later. Kills my battery all day long. Will also stop running in the middle of the night but somehow will run for 10 hours straight without stopping in background. I'm stuck with deleting it every morning and downloading at nigh because no other app works for me :(

Used every night for years but the new update was disappointing. The fan noise changed slightly, sometimes cuts off, and the added music features were not for me. I tried the trial subscription to test it out and the sign up said it would warn me the trial was expiring soon so I could decide. That never happened and it charged my card $19.99 for a subscription. I've requested a refund. Will update stars if refunded...its not right to say you will alert about a trial expiration and not do it.

This little app is the one of the best things to happen to me during Covid-19. It's the only option for me. I first got this app because my own real fan broke during the height of the first lockdown. I can't leave quarantine and there aren't delivery services in my city. I tried multiple apps, this one was the only one that "stuck" for me. Now the soothing white noise is always on if I don't have other media playing. Ads are minimal. Try this app, you won't be disappointed!
