BEDDI

I backed the Beddi kickstarter and have been incredibly patient over the years with the bugs. Sometimes Beddi works exactly as I want it to and sometimes it doesn't. Lately it has been steadily awful. Music does not play on wakeup anymore. Two of my set alarms just don't even go off, which defeats the entire purpose. I have decided to permanently retire this. It's too bad, because this would be amazing if it worked all the time.

Ive tried using this product for 2 years and the app keeps me from using it in earnest. I get constant updates and notifications that the app is running. My status bar tries to remind me that Beddi is running every 10 minutes. It's gotten to the point where I uninstall the app and only reinstall it if I need to get up earlier than normal so I have a backup alarm. Fix your app.

I am shocked how someone can commercially sell so not tested product. Both, alarm clock and the app are full of bugs and errors, which make me regret every penny spend on it. Examples? - App keeps disconnecting from the alarm during the night, so don’t count on music to wake you up. - Can show proper hour and wake you up in the middle of the night (multiple times). Seems every time I give it a try I discover a new bug. The worst purchase in my life.

I really thought i was getting a quality product, the app only connects half the time, the speaker quality is absolute junk, no battery back up. once it's finally all set up it works, but don't lose power because it doesn't save any of the settings and it not connecting to your phone easily is a huge rush to take if you can't be late for work ever.

Does basics and does them well. Wish that sounds could be played using the smart button without the bluetooth connection. Wish the alarm sound and light had loudness controls. With the alarm going off didn't reset the brightness of the clock. The product has all the features, but the app doesn't have the controls for doing it yet.

More frequent updates please! It's barley ever updated. The app definitely still needs a lot of love. I own both the Beddi and the Bedding Glow. If I snooze my alarm and walk downstairs my app disconnects from the clock. The alarm goes off again and I have to unplug the clock to get it to shut off. The whole interface is just ugly and could use a facelift or entire facial reconstruction surgery lol.

The power plug into the back of the Beddi is too loose and any jostling (such as hitting the snooze button) causes it to lose power and it resets. Poor design. Also, any music, either through the radio or spotify, has periods where it starts to fade out/become muted but then it comes back to normal volume. The app itself hasn't been too bad.

Terrible app to support unstable hardware. Firmware is not updated often and the same issues are mentioned from users over 2 years. App constantly crashes or doesn't detect beddi alarm clock until you unplug and replug it. Alarm goes off as a beep when you set it to anything other than the radio. If music plays it lasts 4s before shutting off. Customer support is non existent. I only got a reply months after my waranty was over. Very Disappointed. Great marketing though !

Revised rating to 4 stars from 1....app must initially be connected with clock before downloading. App does not download remotely. Once I did that, this app works well. I really like the 4 different alarms that you can set and the alarm glow is a super pre wake up feature. If you try to get BEDDI app to download away from clock, you get "searching for BEDDI" message and will drain yr battery

I was loving the app, but then spotify stopped working. The spotify part of screen was frozen and would not function. Everything else works. I tried reinstalling the app and now I cant login to spotify from the beddi app. It keeps giving me a bad request error message 502. What's worst is there is no help screen or user support to find out how to fix this problem. The main reason I bought this alarm clock was to wake up to the sounds of Nirvana with crazy colorful lights. Now I can't.

Just amended a 1 star review to a 5 star. Couldn't set up the beddi as button was missing, support were quick to get the developers to look into this. I found the solution, my phone text was set to large and app didn't recognise that the button could not be seen, hopefully an update to add a scroll option would prevent this for others. Now clock is set up, its brilliant, can't praise it enough and will be looking to get another for our son.

Update 2021: still doesn't work! DELETE! 3/2019My security system on my phone is telling me that the app is constantly running and drain my phone battery. I loved this clock and app for the first 8 months however now (3 months) its becoming more of a pain! update 3/17/19. still no updates yet to use the alarm properly. love that it will tell me wearher but most of the time i have to open the app and instead of hitting cancel i have to go into settings and turn the alarm off permanently.

Very disappointed in the overall operation of this app. I am always having to reset the BEDDI radio to play my Spotify music. I just recently upgraded my phone now it won't play my Spotify. I cannot sync my phone to the BEDDI radio nor can I use the alarm. Waste of my money to be honest. Cheaply made and not user friendly! Do not invest in this product.

Incredibly inconsistent. Virtually never able to get it to use any of the phone connectivity options. Tried on two different phones, even tried using a dedicated device and still no luck. Sometimes forgets alarms which I just had the joy of dealing with.

Barely adequate app which should be fixed to not auto-start. I never use the "features", just occasionally need it to change my alarm or reprogram the clock's buttons. But every time your phone restarts, the app launches in the background. And I insist on Force Stopping it. An option would be nice.

The alarm always fails to go off or lose connection with my phone when I sleep. I essentially just stopped using it as an alarm and used it just to play music but now it wont even play my music. It says it is connected, I can play music inside the app and nothing plays. Pretty much useless.

I wanted an alarm clock that could charge my phone and use spotify to wake me up. While I may have gotten that, the app required permissions and information it didn't need and there was no link to its privacy policy. You can't even set the time without the app. I bought the clock. I shouldn't have to give up my privacy to use it.

Lots of resetting. Haven't connected the alarm for months now as I can't be bothered. Using my phone as an alarm. Only have been using it to see the time and a light for in the middle of the night. Not really what I purchased it for. I will replace it soon.

Terrible app. Settings will not change no matter how many times you apply them and you cannot delete the alarm settings that are apparently corrupt.

Really well integrated with my alarm clock. Some reasons I chose this over having a Google home was the ability to customize my alarms with . Music, light color, traffic, and weather. It's easier to manage my alarms with this visual app than having to talk to Google home. Over all it met all my expectations!

Thought i just got a detective product until i read the reviews. Absolutely horrible. Light turns on at random, alarms dont turn off or operate with sound that was chosen or at all, traffic and weather updates that used to work just stopped one day. Dont waste your money.

The app runs on my phone constantly draining the battery then won't open when I need it to. Then if i force close the app on my phone it won't open at all. seriously Beddi this clock was not cheap - for the price I'd think you would do even a slightly better job. this is a 100% scam and will do nothing but frustrate you. the clock didn't even come with an instruction book, they really expect you to figure it out with a broken app.
