This app is exactly what I was looking for. It turns your phone or phone and Bluetooth speaker, into a radio alarm, only better. It offers hundreds of stations. Set an alarm (or alarms) and wake up to any radio station you want. Offers snooze and custom features like slow volume increase. Simple to use and works every time. It will play a back up tune if the internet goes down. If you don't want an alarm I would recommend the sister app Waave radio.
Not working since Android 10 UI 2.0 update. Used this app since its first incarnation because I prefer to wake up to my local news radio station. Since Android update, the alarm does not go off at the time scheduled (much later) or not at all. When I can get it to work, I have to hit the notification message for the app to go to the radio stream. Very disappointed and I hope there is an update to fix these issues coming shortly.
This used to be a 5 star app. I use to rely upon this app, everyday, until it stopped working. Now, the stations only buffer, when the alarm goes off, and the app no longer switches to the back-up emergency music. I really liked this app, and wish that I could go back to using it, but I need an alarm, not a coaster.
UNRELIABLE. This must be the most unreliable alarm app ive ever used. When sheduled to simply go off every morning, it will only come on half the time. It seems completely random too with no pattern of why its not working. Also you have to have the app open all the time for alarms to work, so you have to remember to open it before going to bed which is annoying. This alarm cant be trusted.
Excellent alarm app. Possibly could also double as radio if you like😀. Does everything you need, including alarms for specific days e. Weekday. You can adjust volume and has backup alarm. Also adjustable snooze function. Nothing is missing from this app as far as I can see. Have used it for years now.
You better not activate this while someone is sleeping near you. It randomly pops up with loud, disgusting ads. I don't mind, if apps use ads as a source of income, however, there is no reason of an appalling implementation like this. :/ This also definitely keeps me from buying the 'pro' version, since I don't want to support such a behaviour. Uninstalling...
I paid for ad free, and find it very good, except for the glaring, undimmable white section behind the persistent onscreen buttons on night mode. Why not just make the button symbols white? It's like having a torch in the room, and completely defeats the purpose of having a night mode at all. That costs it a star.
Stopped working weeks ago. Can no longer connect to any radio stations and instead wakes you up with repetitive default sound, something I was trying to avoid with this kind of app. And they won't reply to your emails even if you've paid for the app. If you're looking for a radio alarm don't choose this one.
I tried three other alarm clock apps before getting this one, this is by far the best one out there. It will stay active on the days you choose,even when closed,it leaves a little alarm clock next to the WiFi signal on the top notification area,so you don't have to remember to turn it on each night. I have a Moto G-7 and do not have any issues with it using battery during the day. If you don't want to have it on during a vacation etc. Just go to apps and use the force stop option.
1/20/21 This app is terrible. The developer doesnt respond to emails. I paid for the pro version and it has not worked once in almost 2 months. I have tested it and tried it every way imaginable. Will not work. No music, no radio, no back up song. Nothing. I want a refund but the guy refuses to respond to me. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. Pure garbage. 4/10/21 I have had this app set every single day this year. It never once has worked. It never turns on. Still have not heard back from the dev
This is actually a really good app. But the constant notifications and beeps it gives me to remind me it's their and Alarm is set is ridiculous! Turned them all off and works but now you have the fear it's not set right! And the constant orange notification dot on the app!! Sends my OCD in to overdrive!!!
This used to be a 5 star app. The ads in the app were tolerable. Suddenly there are ads played as your alarm goes off. I have my alarm set to a local new station and timed to the traffic report. I've heard the same Juicy Fruit add every time that I've hit snooze today but missed my traffic report each time. Time to find a new app.
Used to work well. Now the radio station I used never works and the app's music will play instead. Also very annoying are the ads. It used to be ok, but now you can't do anything before being bombarded with ads. I will use a different app and uninstall this one.
its a great app. ive tried so many other radio alarm apps and this is the best one yet. its easy to use and only takes a minute to set an alarm. my only complaint is that its bit hard to find the right radio station at ferst but once you get it your all set.☺️
Useless. Never worked. Didn't even use the background music option if it couldn't connect to the news station I chose. I really needed an app like this because I like waking up to my local news stations but nope, never even worked as a simple alarm. Hope they fix this.
best alarm clock radio app out there. best on Android compaired to iPhone. endless selection of radio stations to choose from including local; reliable and don't even need to do anything to have it ready to go for the next day when you activate repeat on your chosen days of the week. i have yet to find anything as good at bedr
I just got a new phone with android 11 and now the alarm doesn't come on. There is a notification saying an alarm is running, but I hear nothing till I click on the notification and then the backup music plays not my selected radio station It work perfectly on 7, 8, 8.1.
this is the best radio alarm i have tried, and i've tried a lot. update: downgrading to 2 stars because when the alarm goes off can snooze it but i can't stop it so i have to close the whole app. also, it has become unreliable and ads seem to freeze the app.
This app works really well when it comes on. Every now and then for some reason the alarm just doesnt come on despite being set. Sometimes if I use my phone just before it's meant to come on it won't or sometimes if I've had it running for a long time the previous morning.
It plays the station I like waking up to. But the snooze button is the entire screen. When i pick up the phone to unplug it or adjust the volume, I accidently touch the screen and the radio stops. Gets annoying when the weather or traffic comes on.
Sorry to say that I am deleting this app from my phone. Recently, the ads have become too much and too frequent, now they are interfering with the alarm function. An ad will appear just before the alarm goes off, so now the alarm will not go off.. I refuse to pay for this app, so I will say good bye.
I've had it for years and it worked great, woke me up with the radio. Now I got a new phone and I just cannot get it to work. I only get an alert sound I don't want, and the radio doesn't start until I clear the notification. This doesn't seem as intended to me. Bug?
I get crystal clear reception of any radio station. It's very easy to set up multiple alarms to whatever specifications you'd like. It has worked without fail the last two weeks since I downloaded it.
It was my everyday alarm and worked pretty well. I LOVED it. And then i got a new phone, and it s just not turning on anymore. Apparently it doesnt work with android 10? Please please please fix it... I miss it and can't find such a good radio app :(
This app is fantastic. It is giving me the opportunity to wake up every day with my favourite radio station and making my waking up much easier and more pleasant. I hate waking up early, but it is much easier for me with this app. I definitely recommend it to everyone, and same time I would like to thank to that individual who have created it. You are genius. Initially, gave it 5 stars. Simple interface, and had an excellent choice of radio stations or on-device music to choose from. All of a sudden, about a week ago, it would not connect with the radio station of choice, or any other station, for that matter. I use a public radio station, and the station itself works fine on their app, meaning no problem with the station, no problem with my phone. The problem is with Bedr. Instead of the morning news, all I get is some canned simple repetitive tune. At least it wakes me up, but that's not what I thought I had insstalled. There is no tech support, so I'll have to uninstall.
