Beem
The goal of Beem is to provide a full featured and easy to use Jabber (XMPP) client on Android. Beem is free and contains no ads.

Why BEEM needs those crazy permissions ??

All our code is open source and licensed under the GNU General Public License 3 and any later version. This means you can get Beem's code and modify it to suit your needs, as long as you publish the changes you make for everyone to benefit from as well.

This app does the basic functionality well, but is missing viewing your chat history. It'd be great to see the last few exchanges you have had with each contact when you open a session with them
Connection constantly drops almost every five minutes. This is the only official jabber im client that my organization had approved. I have no other option except this. Please provide an update and fix the issues.
I'm impressed that Casey niestat followed through on the app. He did a fantastic job. Ppl should subscribe to his YouTube channel.
Just upgraded to lollipop and suddenly authentication issues. Checked their site and it is not compatible with the new OS. There is also no news of an update.
It was working fine. But when I password expired n I changed it.. this app does not accept the new password! I tried reinstalling.. no luck..
Trying to use oracle IM chat but not able to authenticate. Earlier it war working fine after upgrade not working.
Used to work with manual configuration. But now I cannot use it with the company server as it wants to automatically configure the settings.
this used to work great but somtime back an /upgrade/ critically broke it and it hasn't been able to connect to jabberd ever since. a jabber client that won't connect is useless. i'm bummed. :-(
Beem wont connect anymore.. After the last upgrade, it wont work anymore. Please release a working version
Used to be okay (but they never fix any bugs). Useless since Lollipop upgrade.
Changing passwords lead to authentication failure... cannot get it to work again. This really needs fixing!
Switching between networks doesn't just kill the connection but it also kills the app entirely. This appears to have been am unresolved issue for around five years
Does not work with Android 5. Consistently disconnected when switching between mobile data and WiFi and does not automatically reconnect.
Authentication problem with Android 6 update. Used to work with kitkat.
I have to connect the app all the time, it doesn't stay connected! !! Please help because my company only allows this app for internal communications! !
Great tool allowing me to connect to work-chat! Just sometimes disconnects and when you try to reconnect you get a weird screen.
My company also only allows this app for IM chat. But it disconnects so much its not worth the hassle. Please fix this problem
I've occasionally had issues with specific jabber servers, but on the whole this is a great client.

Not too bright. Do you have any bloody servers available to establish a flamin account? I see too many complaints, but i have XABBER app installed aleady and would love to see it mate with something.
Very Limited functionality- keeps signing out. Not feature rich.

Updated my note 3 phone to the newest android 2 months ago. Beem stopped working and can't connect.
Nice, please add user search option if possible. That will help a lot.

No idea why my company insists I use this POS software. Always been iffy. After upgrade does not work at all.
