So you send money. The recipient gets notified they have money in a place they don't know and they have to sign up to the service and terms to get their own money back? Would be fine to send to people who like the app but the app doesn't properly warn you that the recipients in the app are not customers. Dodgy way to do business.
Can't get anymore easier, very nice user interface, very smooth. Transactions go through almost instantly, faster than any bank at the moment. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Update: App has become less reliable since EFTPOS took over ownership. I've been unable to send BPAY payments using my ANZ credit card for over a week ago. Devs and customer support team refuse to provide an ETA. Unacceptable for a payment app. Tablet UI glitches reported months ago still persist as well. --- The best payment app I've used. Fast, convenient way to send and receive money with friends and family in a fun, non-confrontational way.
The app doesn't appear to work in Android 12. Am using Samsung's One UI 4.0. It doesn't do anything after running it, just stayed stuck on the screen. Have tried and failed with re-installation.
Used to love this app it was really convenient to use and login but today I've reinstalled and tried logging in and I have registered an account with my number but no email attached so I get the prompt 'account not found' tried submitting my statement on contact us but the button stayed grey, disappointing.
Great to use. Some "fast" bank transfers still take a day - using BeamIt the payments are instant. Ability to schedule future payments/transfers would be an awesome feature to add please.
The new logo and color is ugly as hell. Please change it back to something more fun, warm or friendly looking. Otherwise functions and features are good.
the app has never failed me, easy to use and reliable! so handy for those that bank across multiple institutions and have multiple cards to transfer to/from when osko isn't compatible etc. i love the loyalty cards feature because they're all in one place rather than google pay or other card storing apps where they aren't always compatible here you can just enter the card number and it works regardless of if it's a pre-existing loyalty card option or not :)
Excellent app and I often advocate it. Love using it, love getting people to use it. The new app icon is ugly af though. Like really ugly. Almost made me want to delete it ugly. Just give me back the cool pretty one and I'll be happy. Thanks you absolute legends xo
Solid app, been great for splitting sharehouse bills and love the loyalty card section (although I wish it was in its own tab again). Please dear God change the logo back tho, its so ugly, I promise there's five stars in it for you.
Fantastic fluid interface and very well optimised. Payments are fast and simple.
One of the main reasons to use this app has been removed, the new wallet sucks! Now we don't have access to loyalty or club cards etc. Also allow us to add gift cards purchased else where. Please fix, this is not an improvement but a step back!
App is a bit broken for me currently. Having an issue where the last received transaction continually pops up over and over which makes the app unusable. I hope this is fixed soon.
I thought that there could never be a logo so bad I'd uninstall the app. I was wrong.
I have downloaded beem it kn two separate ocassions and have run into the same issue both times. I am anle to set my account up no worries, however if I exit and try to go back in later, the screen is frozen on the "Beem_it" writing.

Latest update is crashing constantly. Initially it would crash on startup, now I'm able to login but it crashes when I try to make a payment.
Works pretty well. I love the transitions and animations. Makes me feel like its super fast and efficient. It would be even better if you could add an expense with an individual/2 people in a group without being forced to split it with everyone. I know i could request one person individually but its nice to be able to keep transactions for a trip or something in one place. More icons for groups would be good too or if you could upload a picture instead might be nice.
I have been using the app for a while, and generally pretty easy to pay and transfer funds. Unfortunately I had an error with the app and the money didn't go through with an alert saying 'something went wrong'. I checked my account and it had debited my account but didn't go to my nominated account. Then there isn't any records on beme it either. Chasing customer service for the missing funds proves to be slow. Not even a phone number or live chat!
Convenient way to transfer money but I find the UI very clunky. - No transaction search - No percentage splits. - Figuring out how to split an expense is unintuitive (especially when you want to pay 100%) - The main screen should make it easier to add transactions to my most commonly used groups (instead of just asking me to create a new group) It's a free app, does what it says but there is definitely room for improvement.
Hello, while the idea of the app sounds great, there seems to be a lot of bugs. The first time I opened the app it was great, I was able to register an account and everything. HOWEVER, once I close the app and try to reopen, it is forever stuck at the beem it title card. After reinstalling, same issue occurs. Tried all the classic fixes of restarting my phone, ect. It's a shame, it was super responsive at first and seemed fun to use.
App no longer opens and is stuck on the leading screen. I can only use it once I uninstall and login but as soon as I close the app and try to open again, it freezes.
At first I thought the setup took so long having to provide so much information but I see this as a good thing as it shows the app has multiple layers of security which eases my mind. so despite it being annoying at first to set up you only have to do it once. The interface is intuitive, quick and easy to use and just simplifies the day to day life of paying someone back without having to carry cash around with you. It's apps like beem it that make me welcome the digital era even more.
Having come back to Beem, I can say it has definitely improved over the year and a half. The ability to transfer between your own accounts instantly is a God send. It also works incredibly well when splitting bills/food etc. between housemates. One example would be ordering from Uber Eats using one account to save on delivery fees. It's also easy to request money and set reminders. Payments arrive instantly into your bank account. Also, dark mode support is fantastic.
Fantastic app, fantastic idea and almost perfect execution. For some reason I've lost the ability to add contacts/mates that I don't have the numbers of which I find extremely confusing. If it's a security thing I think there should be a little note in the contacts section about it just to clarify why, at the moment the lack of clarity or clear direction to add friends is frusterating. Only issue I've found, it would be a 5 star review otherwise 😊⭐

What a terrible idea. Imagine trying to get my friends to download the app to split payments only for them, only to have to put in 3 forms of ID to use the feature. Needless to say, I'm back at square one, and a bit red faced. Edit: The issue here is bad UX & privacy concerns. The feedback is that some people aren't willing to go that far to split a bill, and that you should consider making some features accessible to users prior to handing over private info, big4 or not.
Love this app for payment transfers. Definitely the easiest way to transfer money between people and split payments. One request for a future update - I love this app's loyalty cards feature, but I wish it was accessible without waiting for the app to load up with an internet connection. My local shopping centre is a massive cellular black spot once inside, and I often have to open, close and restart the app to trick it into showing me my loyalty cards while I'm at the checkout.
Cannot sign in with a mobile number. Tried to sign up for an account, but my mobile number is in use from a very, very long time ago. Submitting feedback via the app does not work (submit button stays grey). Cannot get in touch with support. App is still called "beem it" once downloaded. UI and login flow all over the shop. Bad experience.
