Beep Test

Considering this apps singular purpose is to make a beep every few seconds, it's really mind-bogglingly stupid that it fails to do that. I'd say it beeps 4/5 times, but that adds up to multiple times where there's no beep. What's the actual point? Awful app that fails at its sole job.

Good amount of detail but kept missing multiple beeps dispute my phone not running anything else. Had to restart due to missed beeps 4 times before I gave up and settled for a YouTube video.

Does a simple job, and does it very well, with NO ADS! A perfect lockdown companion if you have a garden with enough room to run a distance, I use it for 8 metres, it's fine - it just takes longer before you can no longer keep up. The occasional inspirational quotes are a nice touch. I'm genuinely grateful for this app, thanks.

I downloaded the free version and was so impressed that I later bought the pro version as it had extra useful features. The pro version was just missing a stop confirmation which I mentioned to the developer, and less than a week later it was added and should be in the latest update (live im a few hours). Fantastic app and dev service. Thanks

There's lag time between some of the levels. I was on level 10 and for some of the beeps, there was a few second lag time but then it would suddenly become fast again. It was playing on my mind so I got home and played it at the exact same time as the tests on YouTube and it was a lot faster than the actual one they use. If you want a reliable source, just go on YouTube and look for "British Army Assessment Centre | Complete Beep Test Full Audio".

Very good app! Some good options and variations. Simple to set up, and it works! :-) A slightly longer countdown at the start might be good when setting up phone away from start point. Maybe and 8 second option as well at the 5? But 5 works. 👍

Simple, easy enough to use. Wish there was an accompanying chart with speeds and distances. Doesn't seem to line up with some of the other standard beep tests.

If there's anyone out there using this app to train for military or police selection (I used it for AOSB) then this app is brilliant. It's accurate and handy. However if you're attending AOSB don't stop at 10.2, go to 12. At AOSB they make you wear a boiler suit for all physical activities which makes the bleep test a lot harder. Not only that but you have the timed obstacle course after you reach 10.2 so it's handy to to still have air in your lungs afterwards. If you're still reading this I assume you're attending AOSB soon, therefore, I wish you the best of luck.

Great app. My only comment wouod be the ability to start at a different point/rewind. Like a slider bar to different start positions.

Works absolutely fine. It's a great app for testing your fitness. It would be great to have a few beeps to signal the end of each current lap so you have an idea of whether you are on target or need to speed up.

Up until recently this app was perfect and now plays music in the background disrupting the timing and sound of the bleep making it impossible to use it for anything more than 4.0

Developer responds very quickly to issues arising with the app. Now I understand better how to adjust settings, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the app and award it 5 stars.

After level 3 the beeps suddenly start coming every 4 seconds. Posted this issue and got a very quick response from the developer. Fingers crossed

Was confused about levels as the video I was used to running to started on zero instead of level 1. The developer contacted me back to explain it and was ever so helpful. Thanks

Closed all other applications and put on airplane mode and still can go 3 levels without lagging. Trash app

The app continuously freezes on level 3 even after several resets. I wanted to love this app because of how easy it is to use it but unfortunately I will be uninstalling it.

I can barely hear the beep at 15m distance, even at max volume. So you have to carry your phone ... Also not able to see history of the workout once you closed it.

I had an issue with it stopping while running but had good contact with developer to resolve the issue. Works great now and really helps with conducting a fitness test

I loved this app initially until it started freezing during my shuttles which was very frustrating. After a few times, I uninstalled.

Looks good, I'm looking forward to using this tomo, also sharing and buying the pro for some competition. Quick tip for measuring 20M here - 27 heel to toe steps with a size 9 shoe. Shame it can't be set to 10M then could do in my gdn! #lockdown

It's a pretty good fitness app but the only thing is I'd prefer to be able to extend the preparation time at the start e.g 10 or 15 seconds.

Not bad however while holding the phone doing test its very easy to touch the stop bar grrrrr. Maybe a central stop button would work better

Too much lag. Unusable. I just downloaded the mp3 instead. Much easier and accurate.

Getting buggy. Starting to beep at uneven intervals. Some long, some short. You have one job! I'll just use YouTube.

I literally sat down and shook my phone to see if the app is legit for 10 seconds and then stopped the timer and still got a score of 21.1.

Had an issue with the app stopping.... Developer responded very quickly... Now have resolved the issue and am back at it.. All good 😊

This is a very great app it helps me good in school for my P.E class when I need to do exercise for my teacher five star+⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
