With more than 200,000 beers, and more being added everyday, the ratebeer.com database is at your fingertips. Many beers in the database can now be scanned, found, rated and shared. Users that have a ratebeer.com account will be able to write and post ratings to the website directly from Beer Buddy. Users will also be able to synchronize their ratebeer.com ratings to their device for later offline viewing. App does not connect to RateBeer anymore, so it's now useless. I always assumed that by using this app, my reviews would also be in my RateBeer account... Just logged in and found zero reviews, I feel like the dozens of beers I've reviews was now a complete waste of time... Not least because I was reviewing them mainly for me, so I can work out which beer styles I prefer, this has made me frankly angry
This used to be a good app but now it can't connect to RateBeer anymore. Moreover I just found out that it hasn't been able to send my ratings to RateBeer since July 2016, but didn't bother to notify me. I had to rewrite my ratings directly into RateBeer. This app is now useless.
The app has 98% of everything I wanted, I can check which glass I should use, rate the beers and receive suggestions of new beers, the only thing I miss is the ability to add new beers, this would be awesome since here in Brazil we are having the dawn of a new era with new beers appearing every day.
I was really happy by the app and its speed. It was better than the official ratebeer app. Sadly it doesn't sync anymore since a good 3 weeks. I attempted to contact the dev but didn't receive any response..in 2 weeks. I'll gladly update my rating of the app start to work again.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to login. I have had this app for 2 weeks and not once was I able to login into my ratebeer account
Love this app, maybe a little more information then I can assume at present but will adapt. Great compliment to ratebeer web site.
Does not connect to servers. Had it on my phone for a while and never needed it. Tried to use it today. Did not work at all. Uninstalled :(
Edit : used to work really great and now doesn't synchronize my ratings anymore. Used to 5 stars.. So much better than the ratebeer app. Love that we don't need to search with the exact beer name, that it let's you edit a rating without adding a "?" like the ratebeer app. Really well done. Glad I spent CAD 1.50 on it.
Love the idea, if it worked the way it was supposed to, I would give it a 5. I would even pay for it. Keeps telling me there is a connection issue, won't let me login, find beers, nothing. But the Barcode reader works. Woop, woop! Let me know when you have all the bugs out of it.
Can't connect to RateBeer anymore, so the app is pretty much useless without that feature. Stay away...
This app was the expensive alternative when the old legit ratebeer app stopped working. Now I'm 5 dollars in the hole because this app no longer works and the fee ratebeer app is working normally again.
Wish you could add beer I know I have had beer that I don't want again but can't add it because I don't have a bar code to scan o would not get this app until this is fixed very frustrating
Flipping app can never connect to the service. Would be great otherwise, shame.
The app managed to lose my last 15 ratings somehow. Given it was over xmas i had invested in some exe beers. What is the point of having the app? Should just keep a spreadsheet. More reliable. Is there an alternative? Android version is so crap by comparison to iOS version too.
Great app but scanning is almost impossible on a Nexus 5X.
Used to work much better than the Ratebeer App, does not synchronize ratings anymore.
I got an account set up email for another user. I never managed to log in which is a shame because it looked good but if the log in security isn't up to scratch then it is time to uninstall

This is a great app for beer enthusiasts. Lots of ratings for most beer and I haven't encountered a beer that didn't have its Barcode in the database. . . Anyone new to the world of beer keep in mind that the majority of people rating, and describing beers appear to be very knowledgeable and experienced beer drinkers. So something rated as a 3 and described as lacking a rounded flavour, etc. May be an excellent beer; just not technically meeting the standards of that variety of beer.
