BeerSmith 2 Lite

Excellent app, I sometime have problems with the alarms not sounding (based on the volume but then again I have problems with most phones/tablets with this). Our hydrometer is calibrated to 20 °C but the app only supports 15 °C calibration so we're always off if we use the mobile app.

This version worked well on Android 9 but since updating to Android 10 the Cloud is inaccessible. This was a main feature for me so it is now useless. Now looking for an alternative.

Tried to login to my Cloud account. Entered my username and password, tapped Login.. nothing happens. I wanted this app to access my BeerSmith recipes stored in the cloud. Sadly it's unusable for me in this state.

Nice to be able to access beersmith2 recipes created in the laptop version. Unfortunately I am made to log in alot, this then defaults the units back to imperial instead of my metric preference.

Loved this until it stopped working. Just sits in upgrade accepted then nothing. Useless.

all of a sudden the app sits on the "rebooting to enable new features" dialog.... what happened guys?

I now get the "restart your app" message that has been there forever now and I've just hit ok and moved on but now the app is stuck there and it's not functional. This bug has been documented for a very long time and had not been resolved. It's very disappointing to say the least. The software was good when it worked and now it's a steaming pile that I sadly spent money on.

Been using desktop app for a while and so thought I would supplement this with the mobile app. Both are excellent. Would not have brewday without. Love the way styles can be linked to the BJCP and how profiles can be set up. A lot of love and thought has gone into this app. Simple to use and yet also very clever. Only (crucial) think missing is ability to export to xml as I need this to load into my Grainfather app....still the desktop app does do this.This app otherwise compliments perfectly.

I get the same bug with the upgrade. makes it unusable and there is no reference to a fix on the website. I should never have purchased the upgrade, worked perfectly until then.

Every time I open BeerSmith I get the "upgrade complete, restarting application" thing going on. Running this on my Nexus 6P

Makes it nice to have your recipes with you all the time. Brew day timer is great as well

Love having this on the fly when I'm not at my home computer. Can mess with current recipes, edit, and create whenever I get ideas.

It allows me to see my recipes so I don't have to run back to my computer or waste paper printing them, but there are 3 major things wrong with this app: 1. It never gets updates 2. There should be a better system than this lite/pro setup. I already own the full fledged beersmith application on desktop, why force me to go back to my computer and re-cloud upload my recipe any time I need to make a tweak? Perhaps email address or key validation in-app could show who owns the desktop app and the "full" app

Great app, but no timer sounds after last update on Galaxy Tab 4

Works excellent on both my devices, Galaxy Tab 10.1 with CyanogenMod 10.1 and Galaxy Nexus 5. I create a recipe on my computer, transfer it to the beer smith cloud, and running through the brewing process with mash and boil timer on the Tab.

Great app, but every time I open it I get the "upgrade complete, restarting application" problem. On a Nexus 6.

I'm a pc beersmith user, had the app since it came out, upgraded as soon as I could to full version. I wish we could have more than 15 cloud storage slots, us long time users have a lot of recipes to transfer over it would be nice to be able to do them all at once. Thank you so much for the hard work you've put into this program. Makes brew day a dream

It is my recipe editor. My ingredient shopping list. My brew day timer. My brewer's calculator. Most useful APP i have ever purchased.

Works well because my brew house is not near my main PC. Works great along side the full PC version. Only downside is every time I log in I have to change the settings back to Metric, they don't seem to save!

I love this app, couldn't brew without it. My only compliant is minor and probably only affects me. I upgraded when the app first came out, my icon still says lite on it and when I had to warranty my tablet I couldn't get the full app without buying it again. I really do love the app and may just buy it again.

I like this app. It isn't quite as useful as the desktop version but it's getting better.

This app is great I can access all my recipes from my phone or table using the cloud. There is also great support for the app with fast replies to email questions. I appreciate all the help thanks.

I would really like to be able to view my shopping list on the app. It would be nice if that could copy over the cloud

It ain't as ingenious as the desktop version, but 5 stars from me for customer service.

The app is great and easy to use. Love being able to edit recipes from my phone.

Alarm notification needs to but MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH louder, almost silent on one x and nexus 7, the alarm doesn't repeat, so if you miss it, tough. My phone wakes me in a morning, this couldn't wake me if it tried. A time mode, where the clock takes the FULL screen, with maybe the next step/addition across the top, and the following one underneath, would make it much easier to see across the brew house, particularly if using a tablet (the screen needs to be optimised better for tablets too).

I love being able to pull up my recipes on my phone at the brew supply store. Best of all if I decide to make any recipe changes I can save them right away rather then waiting until I get home.
