BeFrugal Cash Back & Coupons

Just installed this app on my phone. When i opened it, immediately taken to a page asking me to install an add-on to my computer which would automatically do discounts and coupons. No way at all to get off of that page!! Finally used a google button to get out of app. Came back only to write this review. Next will uninstall. Do not need any app messing with my phone!!!

Only for metropolitan areas, was hoping for a app that gives local deals like a competitor does. But it only filters by type, not near me. I uninstalled after I signed up. Not worth rural areas or small cities.

Terrible payout issues. I verified everything when I set up my account but as soon as I request a payout all of a sudden I need to verify all over again. Then they email me saying they need to verify a few things over the phone, I give them the same infoinmy profile but get no call, then another message asking me to rey with the answers. I did that and 3 days later still nothing. If I had known you weren't going to follow through I'd have stayed with rakuten, at least I get paid what was promise

I could really like this app if it would stay open long enough. For some reason it keeps freezing and shutting down. if we could get something done about that it would be in the running for 5 stars.

No money back. Is all a lie. Made a big purchase at Walmart but unfortunately they never received my purchase receipt. I emailed it to them 4 times. I recommend not wasting your time with Befrugal there are many other apps that offer cash back with less headaches .

Sounds good, looks good, and the cash back is a decent percentage. However... It states it can take up to 90 days to register cash back; that's inaccurate. You don't get cash back UNTIL AFTER 90 days of purchase : AT LEAST!!! I've got $90 and can only access a few dollars of it. Frustrating. & Wish they had in store cash back.

I've been ordering items on BeFrugal for some time now. I saved 75% on a small appliance and a lot on postage stamps. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to save money when everything has gone sky high especially since the war in Ukraine started

Really cool app. Super easy to navigate the app. I still haven't attempted a cashoutyetso I cannot comment on that but I really love how the app works and how easy it is to recieve the cash back with "Be Frugal"

I've saved a lot of money with this befrugal, unfortunately lately it's been working bad, with Dell they're rejecting good amounts of cashback, and right now I lost around 600$ bc the cookie didn't work, very annoying probably moving to another one....

According to the app I have $28.01 in my account, I have requested payback on 2 occasions, each time the answer I got back said I had to wait for the app to be paid, according to the app I also don't have enough money available to be able to get cash payback, I would need .01... I don't get how this app works, but I won't be using it anymore.. I feel like it is a rip off.

Love, love, love this app. Really has great savings and really works. If they need to change anything I would suggest that they add more stores and more shopping for in stores and pickup in stores instead of it mainly being for online-only

Love the great deals and especially love the cash back deposited into my bank account just for shopping at the stores I normally shop at it's great already made 300.00 back in 6 months

I'm impressed! 🐖 Definitely recommended to anyone who shops online or off!!! there's not only cashback for online purchases but also printable coupons! You can adjust your preferences so that you don't get annoying notifications while getting the ones of importance...always a + in my opinion. Easy to navigate and use...highest % of cashback (especially compared with SB) 💙🐷 It only takes one click and you save money while completing everyday purchases. BeFrugal...It's Smart. 🐽

More trouble than it's worth. I primarily use Rakuten for cash back when shopping online, but occasionally Be Frugal will have higher % cash back so I'll make a purchase through them instead. I've not once had the cash back added to my account without having to deal with their customer service or sending multiple emails. They always blame the vendor, but regardless of who's at fault, this app is not worth the hassle. I will be uninstalling if/when I get my next check.

What happened??? Since the update it seems like half or more of the coupons/shop buttons don't work. When you click on them you get an error saying page not found or similar. VERY frustrating! Initially 4 stars because I just started using it. Have made 3 purchases, waiting for money to be credited. Fix the page not found bug and I'll gladly give toy 5 stars.

It's worth if your willing to wait for the cashback until the merchant pays out which can take a few months. the deals are amazing though so I feel that is worth it in the end.

Love the app, well the deals it provides. However, the lag and slow loading is frustrating at times. But I hope that it will be worked out soon enough. It is better than it used to be just not completely fixed. And marking deals, as "Only on Befrugal" would have been helpful when I first started using the app But I now know, lol. Thanks for awesome discounts though.

It's a great app but some of the retailers that I shop at doesn't get cash back on anything like , phone accessories , games , pet stuff & the list goes on. The only thing it doesn't have is notification pop up letting you know that cashback is pending. It doesn't have that please put that in the app so we all know that we getting cashback and the same thing for the emails. I'll will change my rating ⭐ if I see the app is getting better and better.🙃

I've just started with Befrugal. One issue I have is selecting a retailer and the shopping page being so oversized that I have to slide it around on my phone to see what is advertised. Not all shopping has been an issue. My account is showing a pending payment for me. I will continue to shop with them.

App works fine, the problem is the pay out. They lure you in with higher cash back rates but you have to wait forever to get paid. I have been waiting over 3 months on orders I have placed weeks before Christmas with no payback. Not real crazy about rakuten but I get my payments much faster and have had minimul issue with them losing orders. Be frugal app works better and has higher cash back but terribly long payback payments. A nice running app doesn't mean much if you don't pay.

Was able to sign up online but it keeps telling me my password is wrong on app, even after I reset it 2x. Live chat never worked. Deleting app.

I have found good savings with the app and some Cashback too. Be sure to get the notifications and emails from BeFrugal so you can get the latest sales from different stores and brands.

Cool idea. Useless for Canadians. Could actually work. But each button I click brings me to us sites. Making it either annoying for Canadians, or just useless all together.

Actually works and is easy to navigate

This app is awesome! I never knew I could get money back on purchases I do all the time online. The only issue I have is when your on the store site it will knock you out of it , which gets very irritating, because you go back in and it starts you over especially when I'm scrolling through multiple pages. Also I've found so many stores that I never knew existed! My first purchase , I made $19, plus $10 for my first purchase.

I do most of my shopping online and using this app help me save money. You can access any store and very convenient.

No B.S. You will get cash back from this site. Make sure to search the site first for anything you buy online. It's safe to click on the store through the site and shop away!

The savings are fantastic. BF app now kinda determines where I shop. I haven't shopped without BF since I downloaded it a few months ago. Amazing savings & merchants range from popular retailer to small biz retailer/ little known web company. The coupons for software, web hosting, domains etc. are a must. Def ✓ out the tech section. I dont receive notifs though, that would be a bonus. I don't know why I waited so long to use a savings app. I should have been utilizing BF ages ago. Thanks!
