What the heck happened?! All of a sudden our behmor can't connect to the home-wifi and none of our phones can't connect either. If a new app-version breaks the existing installation you should be pushing a notification to the users. I second all the one and two star reviews of the app. I can't wait for this "smart" device to break so that we can replace it.
This app is exactly backwards. The coffee is wonderful. To brew your pre set up favorites you have to drill down several steps into sub menus. It's more like adjusting settings in an app than performing THE MAIN PURPOSE of an app that controls a coffeemaker. However to add a new favorite you click the large main buttons on the main screens. As stated backwards, also counterintuitive. I've added only two or three favorites in the year I've had this brewer, but I brew coffee every day. The coffeema
The update does fix the issue with the app crashing on favorites, however, I no longer get notifications that my coffee is ready unless I open the app! The features in the app to tailor your brew are great, but the implementation is poor. Considering the price of the Behmor Connected brewer, the two apps (the other is Alexa) that need to 'connect' it need a major overhaul.
Have successfully used this app with a number of Android devices and Android versions. Would like more information on the security model of the back-end service they're using. It can be tricky to set up with the appliance's Wi-Fi "hotspot", as modern Android can be aggressive about avoiding Wi-Fi with no Internet connectivity.
Agree with the other reviews. great coffee, decent coffee maker, terrible app. One out of every 20 or so breews just fail because of over heating. 4 clicks every night to set up the next mornings brew cause I cant figure out how to save the settings. Who thought it was a good idea for a 5 second delay between 2 start buttons!? Update - the spring on the filter basket broke and its out of stock on their site and Amazon. so now its a $200 paper weight because it doesn't work without the basket.
Not easy to get coffee maker to connect. I had to factory reset. My phone was in data saving mode it absolutely would not connect. Make sure the Behmor app has complete unrestricted access. This is found in the data saver function. It took over two hours to figure this out. There isn't any good trouble shooting instructions. Brewed at 206 the coffee came out 150. Add cream coffee is cold. Its supposed to be 20 degree difference not 50. customer support doesn't respond. DON'T BUY. NOT WORTH IT
App is completely useless. Will not connect regardless of steps taken through trouble shooting. Phone can very clearly see "Dado" Network. When connected, clicked "stay connected", turned off LTE, nothing. Continues to say not connected to Dado.
Thank you for fixing the notifications on newer versions of android. The app is a bit slow to respond. The lack of more preconfigured options for different roasters and styles of coffee is dissapointing. Overall, good coffee maker, mediocre app.
Nice thing it is simple almost to a fault though. Not super intuitive. I recommend to friends and family to buy the brewer with buttons, because of this app App is slow, it should be 1 or 2 button pushes to brew. A couple common favorites should be available for 1 click. Why would you ask to brew now or later then ask to start now after a 5 second load screen.
Couldn't add Behmor Connected coffee maker with my Pixel 3. Used same app on same network with iOS (on iPad) and it worked fine to add the coffee maker. Once added on iOS app, Android app on Pixel 3 could see it. App then said coffee maker required firmware update. Followed instructions on app and firmware update fails every time. The promise of "Connected" coffee maker, so far, is a broken one. Love my Behmor roaster but this thing is a disaster right out of the box.
The Behmor Connected that eventually arrived after postal disruption weeks later was not working as intended... While we are able to connected our devices and coffee maker online, the problem was during calibration. The app would have you wait 15 minutes with a error 86 notification sent to the phone. Very disappointed with this product that looked so promising...
After several hours with the trouble shooting guides in the manual and online, still can't get the device to connect. No response yet from customer service. This coffee maker is getting returned.
App won't recognize that I am connected to DADO during setup. Works fine with iOS. Doesn't work on my Android. Brewer is nice, app is garbage
Worked fine for over a year but when I got a new phone the software can't connect. Good brewer, lousy app. Not worth the trouble. Going back to Mr. Coffee or whatever
Pretty good but it loses connection often. The Dado button blinks more than it doesn't and the modem is close by.
App works now, finally after almost a year of no notifications they updated it. Review is at 3 stars only because of the poor support, the app works fine now.
Seems to have been written by somebody who never used an app. Why so many steps? Quickbrew should be quick. But it is awesome to start the coffee while lying in bed, and coffeemaker makes great coffee.

"Email and password fail". App never works when I need it. I would not recommend.
It's shows error message when creating an account that email and password are required even though I entered this info already
"Not Connected to DADO", unable to complete setup via Android app, had to use iOS app instead.

Won't let me create an account. Terrible garbage do-nothing software. Who would have thought a coffee maker would ever need internet access? Ridiculous.

I have no idea why all the negative reviews. I've been using the Behmor app with Alexa everyday for about two years now. I've never had an issue connecting or reconnecting the app to my home network. It's never not worked except when I forget to fill the resevior or grounds basket. The only real complaint I have is about the machine itself. The base is a cheap metal type stainless that after two years of use has become scratched, marred and discolored. I wish it was of higher quality.
