I never write reviews. But damn, this app is awful. Every time I go to use it to watch live (I have a subscription) it says that there's a technical issue. It doesn't matter if it is on wifi or network... It just straight doesn't work. Hasn't worked since I downloaded it months ago. I've just been hoping they would fix it but I guess not. Useless app for people like me who travel constantly and want to watch games on the go. I still have to use internet urls to watch games instead... Smh...
I love beinsports channel, i wish i could buy a direct monthly subscription so i dont have to pay money for channels i dont care for but this app is unoperable for me and i see it as a Zero to the left. I keep getting an error "We are experiencing a technical issue, sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again in a few minutes". It does not matter when or where i try, i get the same error every time. I have a subscription with FuboTV and I am using a Samsung S9 with the latest update version.
I've downloaded this app a million times, trying all the updates and it never works. It asks me to register but freezes when I try to enter any letters. Haven't been able to watch anything. what a complete failure. I thought the bein media group was a bit more serious in its attempt to be a major player in the sports media market, but apps like this one on the playstore show that its lightyears behind Espn, NBC and other media companies.
I downloaded this app to watch American games as I reside in France. However, everytime I want to watch a game, it keeps displaying a message "Sorry for the inconvenience as we are experiencing technical difficulty. Please try again in 2 - 5 minutes" but it never works at all (Even with wifi) Waste of time and money. I have an android phone and based on other people's comments, it doesn't work well with Android phones. False advertising on the web page so don't trust it.
Works on Windows Explorer but not on my version of Android on my LG phone. Actually, I was able to watch one FC Barcelona match but since then all I get is a black screen no matter what game I choose to watch. I even tried reinstalling the app. With AT&T droping Bein (an unfair for the consumer decision by AT&T, by the way) it's getting really hard to watch La Liga.
They have now updated the application, you are now able to "watch the game" but with commercials in the middle of the transmission. These guys go from bad to worst, no one wants to be interrupted in the middle of a live game. Pervious review→This app never works, it has been months since it worked and they would not even acknowledge the fact that is broken. But they do keep pushing a broken app everywhere.
This app never works. Anytime I want to stream a game IT NEVER WORKS. I sign in on my phone (Galaxy S9+) through my provider and it still does not work. It either doesn't load or says session has expired. I have done everything possible to try and make it work to no avail. Please fix this ASAP. Thank you.
I am editing my review to say that while support for this app is still non existant, the app has been working better lately. I'm not saying it's perfect, but their up time is getting better. If you ever run into a problem with this app, here is what to do: go to your settings and clear all data for the app (clearing just the cache is not enough, you have to clear all data). Then uninstall the app. Restart your phone and re-install the app. Re-enter your credentials. This should clear up a lot of issues, but obviously does not cure the problem of their service being down, which happens from time to time. I am upgrading my review from 1 star to 3 stars.
Charged me twice for 1 month subscription and open the channels for me. I basically paid $20 for nothing. They also don't respond to any emails or support contact. So if a problem or glitch happens like with me, then your money will be lost. I would have rated it at 0 stars if I could. A company that doesn't have the capability to operate a streaming service at all.
BEIN is killing themselves. Cant wait till La Liga moves to a channel that won't try to extort cable providers so I can actually watch the games at a bar without having to call ahead. App stopped letting me login. Made a different account to see if I could fix it, now I'm stuck logged into the new account that doesnt have a provider assigned. Idk how to fix it. Uninstall/reinstalled. Games hardly worked for when I wanted to watch anyways.
It has been several months since this app does not work for my android phone. It keeps looping the same message: " We are experiencing a technical issue, sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again in a few minutes." What is the point of this app being in the play store if it's not compatible with android phones?? Do not waist your time downloading this app. It just does not work!
WORST APP EVER!!! DO NOT GET A MONTHLY SUBSCRITION! Would give it a zero star but sadly that's not an option. The streaming never works or when it does, it always crashes. Was charged three times in the period of one month and was never refunded even though I called multiple times. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS APP!!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!
Not functional on Android phones. What's the point of having an app if you cant use it. It's been months since the app started giving a looping "technical difficulties" pop up with no way to get rid of it. Fix it, we're paying for Bein Sports subscription.
Terrible experience. Downloaded the app after already signing up and having a BeIN Sports account online, via my Verizon login, and the app just tells me there's connection errors and also I need to sign in for the first time all over again. But when I try to sign in, it tells me there's a missing parameter, "partner ID", which is not even one of the fields I had to fill in. Fix it.
Unable to watch tennis events. Each time I try to wacth there is an error on the screen it appears loading then 100% and then black screen and the same cycle start againg... Very desapointing. I call the support and they asked me to reinstall the applet and restart my phone, i follow the instructions but the behavior is the same. I feel like bein is not offering a good customer experience. 😣
EDIT: The new app solves most problems from the old one. Sometimes I have an issue of simultaneously playing main & secondary audio on live feeds, but not a major issue as it usually goes away. There's still room for improvement, but it's such an upgrade from the previous version.
Doesn't work. I can't get past the log in. Everytime I selected my provider, it goes to an inoperable web page and then asks to pick the provider again. If you are going to take the time to advertise during games, you'd think you would make sure that app works.
I loved the app because I could easily watch my games on the go. But recently I just sit there in front of a black screen just waiting a long time for nothing to load up or if it does the picture is no good and it's constantly buffering. Please fix this so we can all get back to watching our games
Terrible app, hasnt worked in months. Even on a computer it is hard to use Bein. Either "we are experiencing technical issues" or "you have reached maximum number of allowable devices" when I dont have any on my account, even after clearing them. Deserves zero starts, in fact negative, it has literally been months, and there are several reviews with the same complaint.
The amount of bugs in just unreal. I've had the app 4 or 5 years. I missed at least 20 games because of technical problems. Ios or Android doesn't matter. I have both. Totally unreliable. And no customer service to help.
This is the most useless streaming app ever. They are so incompetent that absolutely nothing works. They tell you that the maximum number of devices was reached but they don't allow you to delete them. Doesn't work on web or Roku either. It's a shame that so many tv rights are blocked by this incompetent company
This application literally does not do the one thing it is designed to. I check in every so often to watch an anticipated game and am once again am greeted by the same technical issue message that notifies to check back in a few minutes. They should really delete this app as it provides literally no use to its users. An embarrassment to the company.
Up to today I agree with many of you the app was really bad. There was an update today! quite an improvement over previous one. The only downside now is that they have removed the chromecast option I hope they will put it back. So I would now rate it as a 4 stars
Terrible app, terrible support. After troubleshooting (restarting app and phone)(making sure appropriate number of devices were logged in) app still didn't work on my phone. Nor on my Roku SmartTV. Occassionally it will work on laptop, but that's about it.
Just got the app to eatch the el classico and of course it is not working at all. After i sign in with my tv provider it just has a never ending loading screen. App wont be on my phone for long at all. If you are reading reviews to see if you should get it... PLEASE DONT!!!!
One day it stopped working. Now, after uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling multiple times, it still doesn't work. Ive got a Samsung 8+ on the latest Android version. Even so whenever I try to view a live game I get a repeating error message: "We are experiencing a technical issue. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again in a few minutes." Worthless.
