During working hours it is impossible to login with the same error message of server not answer. This is weeks now, not only one time event. Otherwise, the application is fain, but no use either no possibility to connect.
Very very cool, safe and easy to use. But adding English language option to it would have made it superb..
I like Belfius for it's option instant payments. Just needs to improve in treating client needs and work on the upgrade of it's hardware like reading of new Belgian ID cards
Years passed and Belfius couldn't fix contactless payment error (multi device limit exceeded). They're blaming another company for that bug. Another example of Belgium's disfunctionality.

Incredibly hard to find anything relevant in the app cards/accounts/settings etc It's a mess. Overly complicated
Very good. Hard to find where to enter a "virement". Finger print login could be offered directly, rather than requiring click on "se connecter" first (+ swipe for code login)
If we look at the banking features of the app it is quite complete and easy enough in use. Some additions would be nice like the ability to categorize expenses and get an overview end of month of total expenses per category. But unfortunately the good part is overshadowed by the fact of adds, promotions news that are forcibly showed without the ability to turn it off. Similar to that, functions/products you do not use are always shown in the main screen. A shame! Less would be more!
It's a good app, works well and allows a lot of control over our bank accounts. However I'm not a Dutch or French speaker so it's a shame that there's no English language available. It becomes quite hard to use the app without knowing the language. Edit: The mobile payment (QR code) doesn't work anymore. The app displays an error message and doesn't allow the payment.
The app shows annoying ads everywhere, and not just the use of banners, sometimes they are movie clips that cover large parts of the screen. Very intrusive. They should just stick to a basic design everybody can clearly see and use, even people that do not see that good. Why cannot use English? It's a Belgian bank, but some people do not speak French or Dutch. They do not read your review/feedback here and via mail correctly, and just paste a default answer.
The App has a easy to use and clearly directional mechanics that provide good support to the user. Using the menu button as a hub to access the different aspects of your account, you can organize your account and tasks with the simplest of eases. No program is truly perfect, but this one has carried its weight.
Used to be the best app for banking in Belgium. Lately they got too carried away. Full of intrusive self-promoting ads. When I review my financials, I want a clear screen, not videos and stock photo personality smiling in the background. Key functions buried in deep menus. And I pay heavy fees for them, as it is one of the more expensive banks. In 2021, there is still no English in the app, when Brussels is one of the most international cities in Europe. I decided to change to another bank.
There are some very annoying issues I've been having that seem to have not been recognized by the devs in the past few months. One being that I can't get ccontactles paying to work because it keeps giving me an error code. When I tried contacting the support team, I waited on the phone for ages multiple times without answer. Same with their support team online, where no employee seemed to have time, at any point in the day. Very bizarre.
Remove the ads, noone wants those. There is no such thing as an intresting ad.
Banking app with advertising, are you serious? I'm not interested in all of your publicity. Also, no default instant wires?
Great banking app, I think the best in features and user friendliness in Belgium, after trying several. What I hate about it: in app promption and advertising for their products, which is very distracting. This is not a freemium software, I pay a LOT of money for my account, so I don't want ads in my baking software. And it only works in French and Dutch, so if you speak only English, you better look for another bank. Beside these, great app. In fact, I chose Belfius because of the app.
This app was one of the best bank app available in Belgium... until the latest update ! The former UI was perfect so why to change it ? Fonts are now difficult to read, the colors are badly contrasted... make changes to improve an app will be always welcome and appreciated but make changes to an app just to be less good then before, it's called a mistake. Please, give us the former UI back ! Thanks in advance.
I can't login. I scan my bankcard and next step is with the card reader, where I should press "Login" and add an 8-digit code that the app itself gives me, but when I press the button to start the process, nothing happens. The card reader is new and works normally, but it seems like I can't skip this step, but also can't go through it. Is there a specific link for doing this? I've been trying for 2 days now and still can't figure this out.
Way too many ads, important functions are hard to find, they're constantly having maintenance which rends the app useless, defeating the purpose of having an app in the first place. That and the fees are way too high. I do not recommend this in the slightest
Not liking the increasingly bigger and bigger ads. 50% of the screen after login is promotion And pop ups. They were irritating back in 1995. They still are now Login from time to time very slow and lately the interval that login doesn't work because somethin went wrong or maintenance is ongoing is increasing. After maintenance often only visible difference is... new ads... Save many of us a headache. If you can't upload the ads transparantly. Just leave them out altogether
The rate could be higher if you have the option to have it also on English. Other banks are having English version as well. And second, lots of advertisements (with videos) on the main page without an opt-out option, quite annoying.
...just trying to reinstall the app and couldn't even get appropriate help, had to use my call credit for at the end getting no help at all from the helpdesk, have been told to get an appointment wich is absolutely insane in this covid time....now u got the feedback, it is definitely unacceptable in 2020 to have to face a kind of issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that I can't use the app abroad and have to connect via the browser + all the technical issues it had lately made me change my review to 1 star. I'd recommend using another bank. Plus that the staff is really only chasing commissions and not taking care of the customer needs means you should try and avoid Belfius altogether. Thanks for your comment, Matthias (Belfius), but there is no one from that email address that is answering. I solve this issue quite easily by transferring all my income to another bank each month (I can't close the accounts due to a mortgage, so you got me as a customer for quite a while, don't worry).
Not always immediately showing new balance when you made a transfer in your own account. Always have to log out and in again to see my new balance. Edit: not happy with the new update where the transactions are all in one color. Used to be in green when an amount was added and red when an amount was taken of
Excellent app and an example to all other bank apps. Not only does it work flawlessly, Belfius is always innovating and using the latest in tech. On top of that there are tons of extra features like Sodexo servicecheques and Monizze integration. Love it
They advertise this as the best banking app in europe but having used other ones i have to disagree, very simplistic, not that good of an user interface and more functionalities should be added. Also a lot of downtimes, second time this week i can't connect when i need to. Get your priorities right
I have been a big fun of this app but recently I got a new device where I cannot activate the contactless payment. I contacted the helpdesk but they couldn't help me either. They say its a temporary issue which is taking more than a month to resolve?!! No Apple Pay support with a Belfius card. I am really considering switching my bank account.
