The people at Twonky must have been laughing all the way to the bank, having sold to Belkin. This iteration is very, very broken and for anyone like myself who was masochistic enough to persevere with the original Twonky product, this is a gigantic step backwards. Content seldom streams, even from mainstream sites like YouTube, the client 'forgets' the target device (a Netgem smart box in my case) and the whole experience is one of massive frustration. Every Belkin product I've ever used broke or didn't work properly, nice to see them continuing the tradition with software offerings 9_9
Unfortunately my xbox can't access my phone from the menu. Says something aboit video access not granted even though I went in and change the setting in my phone. But the streaming works better than the default streaming on my phone. Now I can actually use my phone while it streams! I recommend It for anyone who streams from their phone to the xbox.
Used to work with my roku it doesn't find it now, or my smart tv. Now it's useless
Will not locate my Roku.....The last app worked just fine. This app is a piece of garbage. I need an app that streams showbox to my roku
I would give it zero stars if I could because it won't even open. Another waste of time.
While this app works ok Belkin have limited mytwonky to 12000 files but refuse to mention this anywhere. Buyer be warned
Useless app. Slow, sluggish, never opens any links, and the word BEAM is on every YOU TUBE video I try to access, and just freezes up. I am better off accessing each site on my own or using the You Tube app.
Its not the easiest to get used to but its the only media share app I've found that works on my setup.
Wouldn't play YouTube videos on my android tablet. Just hung there when I pressed play. The help documentation wouldn't display either - it gave a 403 error. Buggy, unreliable app.
Love the QUE. Watch while you que up your favorite Youtube videos. Please don't do a make over for this app.
Hate this app. Pointless and cluttered. Didn't take the time to figure it out. There are far better solutions for media streaming that are much more elegant.
Why not just access to the router USB... Pretty much a useless feature.. I Hate the icon front end.. Belkin should have invested in a USB access for your devices instead.. At least that would be useful.
The name pretty much gives you the clue as to how this system works. Twonky can't index the content on my USB drive (2TB Seagate drive) because it's too large. Really? What's the point of having a usb drive port if you can't plug in big back up drives? Just guess how well the app works then. It simply doesn't replace accessing the files through my PC or using my mobile device's built in DLNA offering...of course, that can't connect to a Twonky drive either. :p If I could give it a 0 rating, I would.
App says it is beaming content from my Android device... but to whom is unknown. Certainly not being received by the intended viewing device on my Belkin network.
Check airwire..seems the best dlna app presently.
App keeps on crashing as soon as i open it. Pathetic app quality. Uninstalled it within 2 mins of installing.
Works well... and supports media from other apps too, however when you pause a video and resume it, the connection severs and i have to start again. could you confirm for me its not a problem with your app?
Oh, that's because I evee get to, it keeps crashing
This never worked. Replaced my Belkin router after it took a crap on me in less than two years. I only downloaded this app because it was supposed to do something, but it never did. Just like Belkin, it's complete garbage.
This thing is buggy as all hell somedays it works and somedays it doesn't
everytime i open my downloads, it crashes and close
Can't get app to stay open, it loads then immediately closes
This was great since Twonky broke their own app but this stopped functioning months ago. Anyway the main purpose of this and Twonky was to get Youtube to work on Roku and now Youtube is officially on Roku so who needs 'em.
Support is a scam. Dont download and most definitely dont buy this router.
Used to be able to access my hard drive through my router via this app. Can't anymore.
The app doesnt open nice idea but constantly crashes
Good so far, but espn is not beaming, can you please fix it. Also, thanks for bringing back twonky after the other company sold out!
hey this is a cool app but i gotta give it 1 star... when i try to stream threw my xbox from moviedroid or seriesdroid i keeps saying playback error.. it works sometimes so i know its possible.. the ram flashes red.. any help would be great... Samsung galaxy ace 2
