Software needs a refresh. It has not been updated for at least 2 years! As many users have stated, it is slow and clunky. There should be more options to work with the cameras. Better detection. Notifications should come via the app without having to pay the subscription fee. As of now without the subscription, you can get them by email. Challenge there is a lot of ghost images. Screenshot but nothing to see. Manual says keep away from light (sun). Do better! Update software.

needs a zoom feature. 720p doesnt show anything completely clear, not even a non moving wall art. probably have a 1 in 10 shot of anything moving being recognizable. then then only if you know the person to begin with. needs a better email pic delivery. and they need to add a push notifications feature . for the money, get an Arlo.

The system/app never worked properly, constantly disconnecting or lagging. I just pulled the cam out after 5yrs and downloaded the app to try again and every time I open the app it doesn't open, instead I get an error message saying that the app has stopped! When I was never able to open it. This was great in theory but fell WAY short of actually working! Don't waste your money!

Dont Buy The Cameras! Useless garbage waste of money. Most of the time the camera is showing as unavailable. Even when hardlined to router and has latest firmware, still unreliable. Worked for a while in the beginning not after updates. Very frustrating and now I am just out the $ cause I can't return them now plus I wouldn't sell to someone else either.

Why is it so slow? Why does it occasionally start up quickly and load video feeds quickly, but usually just sits and spins for literally several minutes before even starting the program let alone starting a video feed? Not really acceptable, belkin. This makes the whole system not really usable. At all. For comparison look at Alfred.

App was okay when I first got a NetCam, although the features were very limited and the app wasn't intuitive or easy to access on the go. Now, trying to set it up again, I can't logon to my existing login or create a new one, and have been on hold to customer service so long that I'm not even sure its still operating. Its hard to leave such a negative review but I can't find any positives, I wish I had bought something else.

Takes a long time to load the live image. Snap shots that are sent to emails will not even load to see them. (They use to) Live viewing is like watching a claymation film. Angle of vision is very small. But the further away you put the camera to get the bigger angle. You cant even see people in the image.

A fraction of the functionality and capabilities of the Yi cameras that are a fraction of the price as these from Belkin. The software is slow and has virtually no customizable functions either. The cloud service is $15/month PER CAMERA not for the app. I would avoid these and go with Yi if you can return them.

Works alright after a teadeous set up. Very primitive software and not very compatible. Could use a serious software update to make it convenient and user friendly. Does not work with 5g or a "self steering" router. Must have a dedicated 2.4g wifi connection.

Terrible waste of money app does not work and bugs out at every step of process. Half of cameras won't creat a wifi network and with the rest the app just crashes every time I finish setting them up and switch to camera mode the app crashes and makes me restart everything. Terrible!

The difference between the Android and iOS versions of this app is pretty big, the Android version working a whole lot better for whatever reason. Functions pretty well and haven't had any issues with it!

I'm using 3 belkin cameras 3 years ago to the moment. The IOS version of this looks the same but it's away reliable. My home network is 5G and my phone network is 4G and still I'm getting a buffering time for eternity. And now the real accessing and broadcasting time is less than 5%. Very bad quality and reliability. However what I tried

it has been very useful to see our property when we are not here. it gives you peace of mind. we need a little better camera to see through a window screen outside at night. the tech support has been useful when we're had any issues.

use it for my daughter's room. its good does the job, especially at night time. sometimes it stops working and you got to reboot but overall its good. the only thing i would suggest is two logins on the same camera both parents being able to see the child. only one login and the option to share but im not comfortable with sharing my daughter's rooms live feed in case its accidently publicized

Doesn't recognize ID and Password!!! I can log onto the camera via the website on my phone and laptop, but if I use the EXACT SAME log in ID and PASSWORD with this app all I get is "user name or password do not match any existing account" I used it to log in last night and it worked fine. Logged in the website this morning and no issues. Use this app and my account doesn't exsist?!?! What a piece of useless garbage! What's the point of using an app to remotely view your house if it's broken?

Works well for a while. Usually a few weeks. Then you have to reestablish the connection. Very annoying. Great resolution when it's working, audio not that loud.

I've had really good experience, at times, with this app. I've also been baffled by bugs and found little help from Belkin. Still, it's been ok overall, hence 3 stars... meaning it's mediocre. That's technology.

Ive used over 2-3 yrs now The. camera itself is good but just the software, As many user mite notice,when U install and use for few days or a week,then will appear video interupt, in my experience the only way to fix it is to uninstall and install again, yep, so I have to re install this app EVERY week, CAN U PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!

Basically, hardware and this app are unsupported since 2016, since camera is not manufactured anymore, stranding past owners, like me. You can still keep using it, but why bother when theres many other active cos. Belkin is typically cheap bc no or minimal support.

stay away for the love of god, as much as they keep on updating as much it gets worse. I have 3 around the house and none work properly, it's like a trial error chance thing. very irritating and in supportive. unplugged them and down the trash. never again belkin.

This camera is offline more than it is online! We bought it to always have an eye on our disabled daughter! Big disappointment that it is far from dependable. The app has no info except the camera is unavailable and check by later! Duh!

Belkin is an unreliable company. They cancelled the service and made our cameras redundant while still in good condition. Why do you need to cancel a server for a service that you have been selling for years and the users paid their dues for it. If there was less than 1 star, i would still rate lower.

i have it, its good. it can be sometimey and slow to download to the video, i guess it depends on your internet bandwidth. but if its not giving me problems its an okay camera. i depend on it the most when im not home and i need to see if nothing's suspicious going on back at home.

What is the point in having this connect to a camera when you can't easily access the stream. The camera is literally less than 3 meters from my modem and I never get a decent feed. Fix this streaming issue please
