Bell Tower - Know the Time
Now you can have your android tell you the time by ringing a bell every 15 minutes and on the top of the hour.
You'll always roughly know what time it is, or that it's getting late.
This application can also use a cuckoo-clock sound or a few other sounds.

Very nice app but stops completely after a few hours. Normally works again after I put it off for few minutes en then on again, but stops again after a while. Need some serious fixing here. Did the update, but still problems after a few days. I need to put off and then on again to enable it. The app was always dissabled to battery optimisation.
Does as advertised. Chime on 15s and 1 for each hour. Many settings include time of day to not ring, custom volume, and use your own sound effect. I have had a version of this on my devices ever since Konfabulator ruled.
Mostly wonderful. On my Samsung Note 4 it worked perfectly. My wife Samsung S7 Edge, it was on time maybe 25% of the time, about 40% it was 4 minutes late, and about 20% it was 3 minutes late, and occasionally 2 or 1 minute late. We could find nothing to fix it. In October we bought a pair of Samsung A50s. This app ran correctly on hers for two months, but it behaved on mine very much as it had on her S7 Edge, even though we have mostly the same as and settings. Now hers behaves like mine.
Some system sounds don't play the correct time at the top of the hour. Too long maybe? Otherwise it's a 5 star app. Built in sounds work great.
Good app. But the 'chime in advance' feature does not work. For example, even after advancing by 120 s, the chimes strike at one minute past and that too, unreliably. Galaxy Note 10+
Hey bro, long time no see since I used Samsung S4 using your application, the problem I'm experiencing now on Android 11 on Samsung Note 10, can't use the sound system, are you willing to update so that it can be used normally again Thank you very much for your attention.
It's a great app but it doesn't work continually. The tower bell sound is beautiful. However it needs to flow in it's workings.

Saw your comment about a bugfix from 2 years ago. Giving it another try -- so far, so good, and I like what I'm hearing. UPDATE: Nope...uninstalled again -- still sounds late. Keep trying!
Works GREAT! Really like the Cookoo, and the 2 versions with the addition of the quarter hour chime, reminds me of the ones with quarter hour quail chime. Other chimes are Nice Too.
It is very useful at work. No need to look at d watch all d time. Can make out the time from the strikes
Android 10, doesn't work. Bells go off only if I check "chime every 15 minutes" (which I don't want). On the hour only doesn't work.
Reminds me of the old granfather clock that rings the hours in!!! the best! setting are good to, off hours and on!!
Well done! Very good app! Except that, some times within a day, it chimes 4 mins after the hour. Kindly correct that in your next update.
I can not figure out how to make the hourly number of chimes be correct. At noon it rings 4 bells. I am in Eastern Time Zone. All of my phone's other time of day is correct.
Great but needs the ¼ hour sounds from a grandfather clock! My mother (who is 97) thinks it's hilarious I carry around a grandfather clock in my pocket! 🤣 AND.. It really is helpful as I move thru any task to get reminders of how much time is passing at the ¼ hour. I just wish it were the pretty chimes of a grandfather clock!
Better than nothing; but is constantly going off a few minutes past the hour instead of on time.

Great app. Occasionally it chimes a few minutes late but most of the time it's on time on my device. I can't get it to work with the system sounds though, having installed my own bell sounds from a real clock tower as system sounds. Do these files need to be in a specific format or not exceed a specific length to work in the app?
